Woo-seong forcefully tried to get out of Altair’s grasp but as expected he couldn’t. In addition to his strong grip, it felt as if an adhesive force was keeping their hands together. Woo-seong suspected it was due to sorcery.
"Damn bastard let go of my hand!"
Woo-seong stopped his descent and swung his leg at Altair’s head. However, a yellow magic circle appeared next to Altair’s face blocking his kick. Altair didn’t even flinch, he rely looked at Woo-seong with an amused expression.
Due to Woo-seong’s sudden pause to attack Altair, the others were forced to stop with him. Woo-seong was about to fully engage in a battle with Altair but Ushi suddenly yelled.
"We can’t stop for too long! I can’t use this ability forever, and without it, we won’t be able to enter the dinsion!"
He seed panicked but Yoon-jae frowned and admonished.
"As it stands now, we can’t enter the dinsion without Sol. Are you suggesting we enter without him?"
"What? No, of course not! It’s just that I... I..."
Even though Ushi’s current appearance hides his features, one could tell from his voice that he was feeling embarrassed. If they weren’t able to enter the Shadow Dinsion after everything he had just said, then he wouldn’t know where to find his face.
"Haha, that’s right. Obediently give up entering the Shadow Dinsion before us and co back."
Altair said with an amused smile present on his face.
Ushi couldn’t help but glare at him while his dark eyes lacking any white glowed with an almost murderous light.
However, it wasn’t only Ushi who detested Altair, the others also felt similar sentints as they glared at him as well.
Despite all the glares directed at him, Altair didn’t feel threatened but rather enlivened. With a hint of mockery in his voice he said once again.
"You think that just because that inheritance is in your dinsion you get to own it? It’s without a doubt that it’s our Magic Research in there, so the only conclusion is that your Ancestor stole it from us."
"I thought the humans were the ones who primarily created Alternative Magic, you’re not even human."
Yoon-jae pointed out, but Altair shrugged and responded.
"That’s true, but it doesn’t change the fact that it was stolen, and since I’m one of the persons representing the Royal Families of the Four Races, I have a right to reclaim it. Now let’s go back and wait patiently for the dinsion’s entrance to open."
Altair then began pulling Woo-seong’s hand, however, Woo-seong and the others resisted.
This ti Ushi wasn’t the only one who thought it would be embarrassing to go back up to the cloud platforms after everything that had just happened.
But what could they do when Quilt successfully isolated Sol while Altair was preventing them from descending?
Just as the group was thinking that they really had to return to the cloud platforms, a voice ca from above.
"It’s fine, we’re still entering the Shadow Dinsion."
"Bastard, what are you saying? Just peacefully return with ."
Quilt whispered into Sol’s ear as he started flying upward to the cloud platforms. Or at least he tried to. Sol suddenly grabbed his arms that were tightly wrapped around his shoulders and pried them apart.
Quilt reacted quickly and his arm glowed a golden color as he hastily reinforced them with several low-grade spells. However, it was useless. Sol’s hands glowed a lighter shade of gold, and forcefully pulled his arms apart. The first two buttons of Sol’s shirt popped off as a result.
While Quilt was montarily taken aback by Sol’s physical strength, Sol’s figure flashed, and he appeared several ters away before Quilt could react.
Sol was now below Quilt in the air, looking down at his shirt which now had two buttons missing with a big frown on his face.
"You actually ruined my shirt."
Sol looked up and his frown suddenly turned into a smile.
Quilt imdiately felt uneasy upon seeing this smile directed at him.
Without a word, Sol suddenly raised his hand which was still glowing golden and positioned it as if he was about to flick away an annoying fly with his middle finger. His Soul Energy and Omniscient senses simultaneously extended outward as well, and in the next mont, sothing shocking occurred.
A golden hand around thirty ters in size suddenly materialized into existence. Quilt was extrely flabbergasted at the scene. Not only him, but the disciples on the cloud platforms who had been watching the conflict also had their expressions change. Once again, they were witnessing a strange ability being used.
With no hand signs or incantation, Sol had created a massive projection of a hand with a simple gesture. Also, from the fluctuations that were visible to the naked eye, one could tell it was by no ans a weak ability.
"You-!"
Quilt finally ca to his senses as no one was clearer about this hand’s strength than him who was directly in front of it. However, before he could say anything Sol suddenly flicked his finger, and the hand in front of him perford a similar action.
Golden light burst outward, and the surrounding air twisted and distorted as the flicked finger of the golden hand smashed into Quilt.
Quilt imdiately tried to retreat but the hand had already locked down the space around him. He had no choice but to quickly reinforce his arms and take the hit head-on.
With a loud bang, the Quilt was blown upward. His body flew through the air uncontrollably and headed for Althorne who had stopped so distance away in the sky.
However, with a casual wave of Althorne’s hand, a strong force smashed into Quilt and knocked him off to the side.
Quilt soon ca to a stop in the air, and his face was visibly pale. The black armor on his body had glowed with an ominous light and blocked Althorne’s attack, but his internal organs were still rattled after having to face two powerful strikes back-to-back.
Quilt glared at Althorne; his strike was especially vicious as he was unprepared for it.
However, Althorne wasn’t looking at him but rather had all of his attention on Sol. Was it a coincidence that Quilt’s body ca flying towards him?
Sol returned Althorne’s gaze, but only a mont later he turned his back towards him and looked in the direction of Yoon-jae and the others.
Althorne watched as Sol turned his back towards him and a smile appeared on his face. He thought about attacking, but upon recalling the ability Sol just showed, he ultimately decided against it. He would stay as a bystander... for now.
