Hyun-Joo swept her gaze across Sol. She didn’t care about what was happening to him. She lifted her Innate Dharma and the Wind Aether Energy around her erupted.

This was one of the reasons why Spiritual Realm cultivators were so overwhelmingly strong, their Innate Dharmas had gone through its first evolution.

For Weapon Innate Dharma users, this was a trendous boost to their attack power. Surely forsaking defense for attack power was stupid in hindsight, but once Sword Innate Dharma users and likes enter the Spiritual Realm, they beco so of the most terrifying cultivators in Jianghu.

Hyun-Joo was no different.

"How vile, this wretched power is Faith Energy from the Church. I knew you were from the Western Continent. DIE!!"

Hyun-Joo raised her Innate Dharma and slashed down at the kneeling Sol.

On the mountain in the distance, Yoon-Jae and everyone panicked.

"Abdu!"

Abdu didn’t need to be told to step in, his damaged Heavenly Palace stirred with power. However, just before he could act, a change occurred on the battlefield.

Sol’s kneeling figure had a blinding golden light bursting from his body.

The Holy Energy that had no path to circulate in his body essentially created its own unique ridians.

The empowered Holy Crest sun tattoo finally no longer held back and let loose.

At the sa ti, everything seed to slow down for Sol and mories started to appear in his mind.

"Solly, do you know how a mber of the God Race cultivates their Divinity?"

The voice of a woman almost seed to whisper these words into Sol’s ears. What accompanied it was the image of this person.

To say this woman was beautiful would be akin to saying the starry night sky wasn’t impressive. There were simply no words to describe how beautiful she was. Not even the Goddess of beauty could compare.

Perhaps she was the most beautiful woman in the Expansive Cosmos. No, she definitely was.

"Yes! They gather the prayers of their devoted followers, and the more followers they have the greater their Divinity will grow. That’s why the Gods created Humans."

A little boy’s voice ca in response.

"Good, but know that our race of Gods is different from the others in the Pantheon.’

"Huh? Why is that Mom?"

This ti Sol was seeing these mories from the boy’s perceptive. He saw the woman’s hands raised to pat his head.

He could barely see it, but there was definitely a smile on the woman’s face.

"That answer is simple my son. We are closer to Chaos than they are and this closeness gives us the ability to forego the need for Mortal Prayers to increase our power."

"Mom, Mom! If that’s true then how do we cultivate our Divinity? I don’t understand."

"Don’t rush, I’ll explain it. But first, answer this. How strong are you?"

"Ah! Mom, I’m super strong!"

The boy said this in a playful way, but the woman nodded.

"If you believe you are strong then your Will will grow stronger. And as your Will becos stronger your Divinity will grow in strength. So long as your Will never falters in this life and you stick to your beliefs your strength will be eternal."

"Really? That’s it? I just have to believe I’m strong? I can do that!"

The woman laughed as the boy jumped up and started flexing his non-existent muscles.

"Solly, what are you doing?"

"Haha, I’m acting like Father."

"So you’re saying your Father is strong, so what about your Mother?"

"Hehe, Father might be the strongest but Mother is more beautiful."

The woman couldn’t help but blush when she heard her son.

"Where did you learn to complint a woman? I hope your Father isn’t teaching you anything silly."

The boy suddenly blushed and scratched his cheek.

"Mother, Father is too strange. He... the things he says sotis..."

The boy couldn’t finish his words out of embarrassnt.

"How dare that man corrupt my son, wait until I see him. But co, let’s get back to your studies, Solly."

The boy nodded and sat back down.

"Now this is the last question. How does a mber of our God Race exert their power?"

"I know! They say exploded and the surroundings go BOOM!"

The boy waved his hands in the air to mimic a big explosion as he said this.

The woman chuckled and nodded.

"Through our voices, we speak to exert our Will. Then our Will supersede the Laws of a World and bend them to our wishes. The highest form of this Power is Creation and the lowest form is Manipulation..."

The woman’s voice seed to trailed off into the distance and the mories faded from Sol’s mind. Only a fraction of a second had gone by in this land of mory.

The world returned to its normal state, and Hyun-Joo’s terrifying attack bore down on Sol.

However, before it could reach him Sol uttered a single word.

"Reverse."

This word suddenly strangled the Worldly Laws in the surroundings. It then twisted and bent the Laws to adhere to its aning.

The attack that was coming towards Sol unhesitatingly reversed and attacked Hyun-Joo.

An expressionless Hyun-Joo had her face change to a look of bewildernt.

"W-What is this sorcery?!"

Hyun-Joo could not comprehend what just happened. Now having to defend against her own attack all of a sudden, she was forced to reach deep into her reserves and swing out.

A loud boom echoed out when her sword t with her own attack. Hyun-Joo couldn’t help but cough up a mouth full of blood as she was blown back into the sky.

She really didn’t hold back when she attacked Sol.

However, before she could even recover from this bizarre situation, a voice echoed out.

"Fall."

Hyun-Joo suddenly felt like a mountain had slamd onto her shoulders, causing her to crash into the ground with a loud bang.

The shockwave from the clash before was squashed by this mountain-like pressure as well.

These were the Laws of Gravity being manipulated by a power that did not belong to this world.

Sol looked at Hyun-Joo who was pinned to the ground unable to move.

He wondered how far the Laws of this World would go to heed his Will.

"Dea-"

Sol opened his mouth to utter the word ’death,’ but before he could do so, he felt a bang go off in his head.

He coughed out a mouth full of blood and stumbled back. The golden light around him slowly diminished. Sol also felt the Holy Power coursing through his new ridians dissipating. The Holy Crest sun tattoo on his forehead dimd as well.

It forcefully decreased the empowernt from his crescent moon, as if was too overworked.

Sol was still able to stand but he could feel a backlash about to attack his soul. It would be unlike anything he had felt before.

’So I can only exert my Will on the Laws of the World twice?’

As Sol thought this, the gravity on Hyun-Joo’s shoulders vanished.

She crawled up and stared at Sol with a mix of emotions; anger and confusion being the most prominent ones.

Nevertheless, she didn’t lose sight of her goal.

"Give the antidote and DIE!!"

Hyun-Joo roared out and charged at Sol.

The black veins had returned to her face. With the poison taking over her entire body, even the supposed antidote from Sol might not be able to help her.

But Hyun-Joo did not care, at this point, most of her mind was consud with the thought of killing Sol.

As Hyun-Joo approached, Sol raised his fist. The crescent moon focused its empowernt on Sol’s physical body rather than the Holy Crest sun tattoo and soul.

Their positions on his forehead shifted as a result.

The crescent moon ca to the front while the sun tattoo went behind it.

This was a Total Eclipse.

However, as Sol geared up to place all his strength behind this punch. He suddenly felt his Holy Crest sun tattoo releasing Holy Energy to empower his crescent moon.

A change was occurring in Sol’s body as well, but he didn’t have ti to let the process continue.

A layer of dark starry light appeared on his body and with a swift motion, Sol struck out at Hyun-Joo who slashed down with her Innate Dharma.

BANG!!!

Their clash caused a massive explosion to rock the surrounding forest. The ground below the two was also uprooted for several hundred ters.

The City Lord who was watching all this while, had his mouth hung open from shock.

He wanted to get closer to see the results of the clash, but he forced himself to stay put.

He waited for the dust to settle down to see the battlefield, however, his face changed.

"Huh? Where did they go?"

The City Lord scanned the battlefield, but he didn’t spot the assassin or Elder Hyun-Joo’s corpse.

"Either their bodies were decimated in that explosion, or... soone had moved them. Ah! There are more people here?"

City Lord got scared. He imdiately turn-tale to escape.

Not to ntion soone else might be here, this explosion had undoubtedly alerted cultivators in the City.

He didn’t want to be anywhere near this place when the Academy stord the area searching for answers.

"Looks like the City will be in even more chaos after this."
