The next day, Midgard World.

The Rainbow Bridge’s colorful radiance flowed, and a group of stocky figures with wildly growing beards looking like weeds arrived on Heather Island.

Following them were more than thirty cargo carts pulled by cals, the wheel ruts deeply embedded.

A Dwarf caravan?

The Priests responsible for maintaining the operation of the Rainbow Bridge were taken aback, and couldn’t help but murmur in their hearts.

What were these creatures who only liked digging and forging, doing in Midgard? And why bring so much stuff?

Just as the Soldiers on the outskirts were about to step forward to check as usual, the Dwarfs firmly guarded the carts behind them, glaring viciously, clearly unwilling to cooperate.

In the ensuing shoving and cursing, the atmosphere between the two sides grew increasingly tense.

Just as a confrontation seed inevitable, a deep and magnetic voice ca from behind:

“No need to check, stand down everyone, they’re guests of the Temple.”

Hearing that familiar voice, the commanding officer turned his head to the figure walking from the shaded path, and heaved a sigh of relief.

It was that lord, it seed everything was fine.

Just as the officer waved his hand, ordering the Soldiers to let them pass, a furious roar exploded from among the Dwarfs:

“I rember that voice, it’s this bastard who kidnapped my daughter!”

“Good, we’ve finally caught you!”

“Brothers, take up arms!”

The indignant cries echoed, and the Dwarfs in the convoy imdiately tore off their loose robes, revealing the Armor hidden underneath, while reaching under the wagons to draw out pre-prepared axes, Forging Hamrs, daggers, and other weapons, rushing towards the heinous kidnapper.

The officer at the outpost panicked and gave a decisive order:

“Protect the lord!”

The Soldiers uniformly drew their long swords and battle axes, attempting to intercept the ferocious rogues from Dwarf Country.

Seeing a friendly exchange ant for clarifying a misunderstanding about to devolve into a bloody, bewildering conflict, Luo En’s face turned as black as the bottom of a pot, and he barked coldly.

“Stop!”

The thunderous roar left the Dwarfs and humans present with a blank mind, and the surging golden Divinity brought a strong sense of restraint, rendering everyone immobile.

Seeing both sides subdued by his aura, Luo En slightly withdrew so of his Divine Power and spoke to ease the atmosphere:

“Calm down for a mont, let explain…”

“The prickly ones are at it again, all together now!”

But just as Luo En relaxed his hold a bit, the sowhat recovered Dwarfs let out urgent shouts.

Alright, alright, can’t listen to reason, huh?

Try this then!

Luo En clenched his fists in frustration and charged towards the dozens of Dwarfs who were dashing over.

Minutes later, the intimidating Dwarfs were completely pacified, lying scattered all over, each with a swollen nose and face, barely mustering the energy to groan and gasp.

On the other hand, Luo En appeared refreshed, as if years of constipation had cleared in an instant.

“Take off their weapons and equipnt, and escort them all to the Fertility Temple!”

Hearing the order from above, the nervous officer likewise sighed with relief and imdiately commanded his Soldiers to comply.

The Soldiers, angered by the sudden outbreak of the Dwarfs, weren’t in any mood to be polite during the arrest and escort, inevitably leading to so bumps and bruises.

Thus, by the ti the already battered Dwarfs were delivered to the Fertility Temple, they were almost unrecognizable.

Inside the Temple, where little Eden was snacking on lon seeds with Heluo and Hela, she looked again and again but couldn’t pick out her father from the crowd.

“Yidun?”

Finally, a muffled voice ca from the Dwarfs, as one with a red beard shakily raised his head.

Luo En rembered, this Dwarf seed to be the one with the loudest voice and the sturdiest build,

so naturally, he took the hardest beating.

At this mont, this Dwarf nad Ivald stepped forward, his face full of bewildernt as he looked at his lively daughter:

“You’re alright?”

Eden nodded her head, responding blankly:

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

In the midst of this, little Eden didn’t forget to bite into another piece of lon seed.

Unlike his daughter’s composure, Ivald was sowhat frantic:

“Then why did you say people were going to die?”

“It’s Hela and Heluo, they made mistakes and were about to be beaten to death.”

“And what about the ransom?”

“I broke sothing and had to pay for it.”

After listening, Ivald was silent for a long while, then squeezed out a smile that was uglier than crying to Luo En at the side,

“This seems to be a misunderstanding, my lord, can we resolve this peacefully?”

At this point, how could he not understand that the whole situation had been a farce from beginning to end.

His precious daughter had not delivered the ssage clearly, leading him into this ss.

Of course, the famously fiery temper of their Dwarf tribe was also to bla.

As for Ivald’s proposal of peace, Luo En simply smiled:

“A misunderstanding is nothing, I’m not petty. Let’s clear things up, and whoever needs to apologize can apologize, whoever needs to pay can pay, but you shouldn’t have taken up arms, right?”

At these words, Ivald’s face turned red, sowhat embarrassed:

“Safety was for safety. If we have offended you, please forgive us.”

Thirty carts of Gold, how could he co up with that alone? He had searched far and wide among his kin, talking their ears off to borrow it.

But because of an inexplicable fervor for Gold in their Bloodline, nearly every Dwarf was a miser.

Therefore, they were naturally unwilling to let their treasures out of sight easily, so they all ca to Midgard, to Heather Island, supposedly to pay the ransom.

Of course, though they called it paying a ransom, from the fully ard appearance of these Dwarfs, and their practiced readiness for combat, they clearly hadn’t planned to hand over any money at all.
