The morning sun penetrated the gap of the window, casting light into a quiet bedroom.

Accompanied by a muffled murmur, Luo En on the bed slowly awoke, opening his eyes to look at the ceiling above.

Hmm, a strange ceiling.

Looking around, Luo En found the room he was in had a warm tone, with a distinct feminine style.

The wall had a painting of swans playing in the water and cute little sculptures on the windowsill, reflecting the hoowner's unspoiled sense of childlike joy. Several illuminated fluorite stones were even intentionally arranged in a star-shaped geotric pattern. The thick mattress beneath him and a set of soft and silky velvet bedding made this an ideal place for rest.

Feeling the movent in the bed, a little head that had been soundly asleep at the edge of the bed suddenly erged from the soft bedding and looked at Luo En with surprise.

"You finally woke up!"

Seeing the uncontrollably excited Helen, Luo En's heart ward, and he nodded with a smile, asking,

"How long have I been unconscious?"

"For three months now."

Helen spoke solemnly, her eyes filled with fear.

"After the anomaly in the Royal City disappeared, Sister Atalanta carried you back from the Royal Palace, but you have been unconscious, and your body seed like it was about to crack open, looking so terrifying..."

Luo En listened quietly, roughly understanding the circumstances.

He had overused his extraordinary Authority during the battle with Typhon's Incarnation at the Astrological Observatory, resulting in his body nearly collapsing under the strain.

Fortunately, Atalanta, who had dealt with the King of Arcadia, arrived in ti, bringing him to this cottage and entrusting Helen with his care. She herself had rushed to the Arcadian Mountains to back up teammates resisting the Beast Disaster, eventually succeeding in bringing most of the Subjugators back to the city.

After three months of recovery, the cracks in Luo En's body had mostly healed, and his consciousness had revived.

Everything had co to a satisfactory conclusion.

"Bang!"

Just as Luo En was nodding to himself, a dull roar ca from outside the window, causing the windows to tremble slightly.

He tensed up, frowning as he asked,

"What was that sound?"

"Oh, it seems to be the defensive weapons those Alchemists from the Hers Trisgistus Sector concocted."

Helen responded casually, her face showing she was used to it as she added,

"Although the Temple was destroyed and the main force of the Beast Disaster was eliminated, the influence of Typhon's Divinity is still present. Those irritable Magic Beasts in the mountains co out from ti to ti, harassing nearby towns, so the confrontation between Arcadia and the Magic Beasts has not yet fully ended."

While she was talking, several more dull roars and faint beast roars ca through.

Luo En, sowhat uneasy, imdiately got out of bed and said, "Take to see!"

Helen obediently nodded, leading Luo En quickly toward the scene.

anwhile, in the Royal City of Arcadia, north wall.

Hundreds of Magic Beasts passed through the wilderness, kicking up a swirling dust cloud as they charged towards the human-populated Royal City of Arcadia.

Looking out, in addition to familiar faces like magic wolves, bipedal dragons, and Magical Pigs, there were a few two-headed dogs and Chiras amongst them, mid to high-rank Magic Beasts with characteristics of Typhon's Offspring.

"Spiritual Liquid Cannon, all hatches, open!"

"Adjust the elevation angle! Target acquired! Fire!"

The green-haired cat-eared huntress standing on the ramparts seized the mont, imdiately swinging her arm down to issue commands.

Precious materials like lapis lazuli, obsidian, and Demon Crystals were loaded into the bronze cannons' power slots by Alchemists and mages with expressions of pain etched on their faces.

Then, burly warriors on either side turned the wheel, elevating the cannon's angle, and filled the cannon's muzzle engraved with Hers Script with bronze giant arrows as thick as a baby's arm.

And under the synchronized chanting of Priests and Priestesses, the Spells on the cannon were activated. The weapon, blessed and enchanted, fired like worthless junk towards the outside of the city.

En route, the disintegrating Runes triggered an intense Aether Tide.

Dense beams of light sprayed out in all directions like swords piercing the sky, shredding several bipedal dragons into pieces.

Amidst the dense thuds of piercing bodies and the pitiful cries of beasts, parts of Magic Beasts like dragon scales, bat wings, and chunks of flesh bloodily scattered onto the ground.

In just a short mont, dozens of bipedal dragons were slaughtered.

Watching from the shadows, Luo En, seeing Atalanta handling the situation with composure, nodded in satisfaction and then swept his gaze over the so-called city defense weapons and the young faces in the garrison wearing owl badges, imdiately understanding the origins of these objects.

The Spiritual Liquid Cannon, a technique of magical weaponry, had been learned by the civilization of Minos from the Bronze Giant, Talos, and had been installed in the Minos Fleet.

After the sinking of Crete Island, this technology reached Athens and could be researched at the Academy of Athens.

Clearly, the replication of these items had significant contributions from the students of the Academy of Athens and the Alchemists of the Hers Sector.

Humans, indeed a species tenacious to the extre.

As Luo En reflected, the Magic Beasts had already reached the base of the city.

But having lost their aerial combat units, these strength-reliant beasts could only attack the multi-reinforced high walls with physical might alone.

Arcadian Soldiers and Divine Blood Heroes from various city-states, positioned at strategic points, ford tight Spartan phalanxes, calmly standing their ground with shields and spears raised.

The Twin brothers, responsible for close combat, gauged the distance, their upturned mouths gradually revealing a cold smirk as one brother's right hand violently swung down.
