Because, although Amazon warriors are the Blood Descendants of Ares, God of War, they are followers of Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt, which in a way, makes it her other Holy Land.

At that mont, when her lover revealed her identity, the Goddess of the Hunt's beautiful face blushed slightly, then she quickly cald herself, a hint of lancholy flickering in her bright eyes.

"If you get married, I can't co anymore?"

Upon hearing this clearly life-threatening statent, Luo En imdiately looked solemn and expressed his true feelings.

"How could that be! My door is always open for you!"

Artemis, hearing this, her expression slightly cleared, but she still felt sowhat displeased.

"Then why are you marrying Tethys?"

Looking at his angry little girlfriend, Luo En helplessly explained.

"I had promised to help her break her fate, and you wouldn't want to be a man who breaks his promises, right?

"That doesn't an you have to do it in person!"

"But who else would dare defy Zeus's orders?"

Luo En threw out an undeniable fact and then spoke softly and reassuringly.

"Don't worry, it's just about helping to make it look official, to cut off others' thoughts and that prophecy, if she ever wants to leave, I will not stop her."

"That's more like it…"

Finally, reassured by her lover's continuous promises, Artemis nodded satisfactorily and no longer dwelt on her feelings of being cheated on.

After all, she was still officially a Virgin Goddess; her true self was sleeping in the Holy Land. Even if she wanted to form an official marriage with her lover, she lacked the necessary conditions and opportunities.

Marriage isn't that important.

Just like Hera and Zeus, even though they were married, they lived separate lives and eventually tornted each other, ending up as sworn enemies.

As long as he is sincere to and can often be with , that's enough.

Artemis convinced herself of this, gradually letting go of the doubts in her heart.

However, compared to Athena, this Goddess of the Hunt was still too naive and did not notice the verbal trap left by a certain scoundrel.

—Tethys wanting to leave, he wouldn't stop her, but it didn't an he would if Tethys really fell in love.

Of course, the current Goddess of the Hunt was not in the mood to consider these troubleso matters.

"Is your wedding day in two days?"

Artemis licked her moist lips, a hint of passion sparkled in her blue eyes.

Here? In Athena's temple?

"I..."

Luo En felt a surge in his heart. Just as he opened his mouth to find an excuse to avoid this deep conversation, his body suddenly stiffened, his neck creaked like rusty parts bending bit by bit, his eyes unbelievingly fixed on the slightly shaking table.

"What's wrong? You suddenly broke into a sweat."

Hearing that abrupt cessation, Artemis looked at her lover in confusion, wanting to step forward and ask.

"Don't co any closer!"

Seeing this, Luo En's face changed drastically and he hastily raised his hand to stop her.

Artemis, hearing this, felt sowhat aggrieved.

"Why are you being so harsh on ?"

Seeing his girlfriend's dreary expression, Luo En realized that his tone might have been too harsh, he then propped himself up on the table, his gaze sweeping the floor, forcing a smile on his face as he pressed his voice to explain in resignation.

"The invitations, I ant to tell you to be careful of the invitations on the floor. The wedding date is pretty tight, so we've only prepared this many, and each one counts..."

Following her lover's reminder, Artemis then noticed several gold-embossed invitations scattered at her feet, which she could easily damage if she wasn't careful.

Realizing she had overreacted, the Goddess of the Hunt felt a twinge of embarrassnt and awkwardly squatted down, trying to salvage her image in her lover's eyes.

"I'll clean them up for you."

"No need!"

Luo En quickly refused Artemis's kind offer, forehead inexplicably breaking out in fine sweat, his back hunched, his entire posture like a cooked shrimp on the table.

Seeing her lover's abnormal reaction, Artemis couldn't help but be puzzled.

"You are...?"

"Hungry."

Luo En, lying on the table, struggled to lift his head and squeeze out a smile, reluctantly spoke.

"Been busy all day and night, haven't had a chance to eat, could you go out and get sothing?"

Facing her lover's simple request, Artemis naturally complied without hesitation, quickly nodded her head, turned, and left the Great Temple to find food.

As the Moon Goddess's figure disappeared down the corridor, Luo En breathed a sigh of relief as if unburdened, then clenched his teeth and flipped the tablecloth.

"Aren't you coming out yet?!"

A pale, white hand erged from beneath the table, resting on a corner of the table edge.

Soon after, a purple-haired goddess with a curvaceous figure crawled out from the cramped space, satisfyingly stretched her back, tilted her head back to swallow, and then a mocking smile spread across her face.

"Your defeat this ti, it ca much faster than I anticipated."

Luo En expressionless, spoke eerily, "Before you say that, could you wipe your mouth first?"

"..." Athena's face montarily stiffened with mockery, then nonchalantly raised her hand to wipe her mouth, speaking to regain her dignity, "Looks like you're not doing too well yourself."

"Ah, right, right, right." Luo En weakly nodded his head, then with a mournful face, showed an expression as if expelling a plague, "So you've had your fun, can you leave now?"

However, Athena just smiled and shook her head.

"This is my temple, why should I leave?"

"Fine, then I'll leave!"

Luo En said, without any reluctance, got up from the desk, ready to flee.

Two Virgin Goddesses, one wanting to shalessly continue in her rival's temple;
