Dust swirled, and the ground shook in waves.
The Queen of the Heavens, who had broken all moral taboos and cast aside self-restraint, unleashed a savage and domineering demand on the prey beneath her claws like never before.
Pain! Excruciating pain!
As if his bones were being crushed inch by inch, and his flesh torn layer by layer.
Luo En, the victim, grimaced in agony, wanting to speak out against the violence, but the descending cherry lips silenced the words that surged to his throat.
Sweet, with the rich fragrance of fernted fruit—it felt as if a jar of ancient Ambrosial Honey Wine had been unsealed.
Hera's eyes narrowed, her frenzied expression beca even more indulgently intoxicated; her nimble tongue pried open the "clay seal" and "wooden stopper"—the two tightly shut defenses—and slipped into the moist "bottle mouth," voraciously sucking on the stored, deliciously sweet "nectar."
In just a short mont, Luo En felt his lips go numb and his tongue tingle, his entire mouth seeming to catch fire with a burning pain, as the tang of blood spread between his lips and teeth.
At the sa ti, his two arms, held fast, creaked ominously, as if they might be torn from his torso at any mont.
And even worse was the lower half of his body: his pelvis cracked under the relentless pounding, his spine let out mournful cries, gradually losing all sensation.
Confronted with this scene, Luo En felt like an innocent lamb accidentally run over by a heavily-laden cart, brutally knocked down and then rcilessly run over again and again.
No, this couldn't go on. By the ti the Queen's fury was spent, he feared there wouldn't even be bone fragnts left of him.
Buffeted by the tempest, Luo En strived to rouse a thread of consciousness, then seizing the chance, he broke free from the oppression in his mouth, raised his head, captured the summit of the mountain before him, and struck back with all his might.
"Pfft!"
A burst of lily-scented sweet ambrosia exploded between his lips, then poured down his esophagus and into his stomach, becoming a warm surge that flowed into his limbs and body.
Very hot! Very burning!
The deity in charge of wine and mirth flushed crimson, nourished and irrigated by a beverage no less potent than alcohol.
The sudden stab of pain finally awakened so of Hera's senses.
But facing such a defiant and blasphemous resistance from a fully indulgent Queen, she seed to see a kitten baring its claws at her, not taking offense at all, but laughing as she spread her flawless white arms to pull the rebellious little head deep into her embrace.
You want it, right? Then I'll give it to you.
The nearly suffocating obstruction made Luo En flail his limbs weakly while he involuntarily swallowed.
More of the "ambrosia," born of divinity and maternity, poured into Luo En's throat, until his stomach filled, leading him deeper into chaos and intoxication.
~~
By dawn, the birds in the forest chirped and chattered.
Luo En dragged his battered body, blue and purple, from the ground. Leaning against the city wall, he sat collapsed like a dehydrated zombie, tilting his head to the sky at a classic 45-degree angle, speechlessly choked with emotion.
Seven days! That madwoman tornted him for a full seven days and nights!
And she claid that when Zeus seduced Alcne, he dallied in bed for three days and nights, so she would settle for no less.
But how could that be the sa?
Zeus was making love normally, probably considering Alcne's endurance and even intentionally holding back his divine power.
You, on the other hand, went full throttle, treating not only yourself but also as inhuman! A perfect example of an S looking for an M!
If it weren't for my tough luck and the occasional forceful nursing, I might very well have been spent.
Luo En grumbled secretly while unconsciously rolling his tongue, scraping a hint of pure white sweetness from the corner of his lips into his belly.
Instantly, a warm current surged through his body, slightly dulling his aches and pains.
Alright, the "forceful nursing" he referred to was not a figure of speech, but a very real act of suckling.
Perhaps due to taking the fall for Hercules, he, by a twist of fate, received a treatnt that only the great hero enjoyed in the legends—suckling on Hera's milk, fed by the Queen of the Heavens herself.
Maybe it was so sort of wicked sense of humor, but Hera seed quite fond of the ga that involved both assaulting and nursing him.
And it was thanks to these mouthfuls of continuous nourishnt that Luo En managed to survive these nightmarish seven days and nights.
After all, at an age of unrelenting desire, and married to a husband who loved philandering, she had restrained herself for a thousand years without ever crossing the line of marriage. One could only imagine the amount of pent-up frustration the Queen had accumulated.
Luo En bore the brunt of a millennium's worth of accumulation. The fact that he hadn't been torn to shreds was indeed a marvel.
"Awake already? That's quick."
A light chuckle mixed with a snicker floated from the woods. Hera, freshly cleaned and dressed, approached leisurely from under the shade of trees, her eyes sparkling like stars, and her radiant face blooming like an iridescent lily after being watered and nurtured.
Witnessing the scene before him, the "mummy" by the wall involuntarily shivered.
He hadn't thought much of it before, but now he realized there was so truth to that saying.
There are no fields that have been plowed too much, only oxen that have been worked to death.
Faced with the Greek Queen whose stats were off the charts, not only an ox but even a Minotaur would kneel.
"What, scared of ?" Hera raised an eyebrow, her expression a mix of amusent and mockery.
"Shouldn't I be? You are the Queen of Olympus, after all," Luo En complinted, then raised his hands in surrender, asking with a wry smile, "Now that you've vented, can we call it even with the release of that mother and son?"
Upon hearing this, Hera's face darkened, and she looked at Luo En nacingly.
"Do you think I did sothing wrong?"
"How could that be!"
Luo En hastily waved his hands and vehently defended Hera's actions.
"Marriage should entail mutual loyalty. It binds both parties, so if he can fool around, certainly you shouldn't consider yourself confined."
"Then why are you in such a rush to disassociate yourself from ?"
Hera snorted coldly, her gaze drifting towards the figure opposite her.
"Could it be that I have wronged you?"
Faced with these successive life-or-death questions, Luo En felt a slight sweat on the back of his neck and cautiously countered every move.
"How could I think so! In my eyes, you have always been the kind and benevolent goddess. Your forgiveness of that mother and son's transgressions and my presumptuousness only proves your nature has never changed!"
"And precisely for that reason, I do not want to be a stain on you because of , dragging you into trouble and criticism!"
"After all, a mont of impulsiveness shouldn't beco shackles in your pursuit of happiness..."
As she heard him defend her so, the displeasure in Hera's heart dissipated instantly, transforming into an indescribable touch of emotion; her eyes, softened with tenderness, gazed at the handso and considerate young deity before her and she spoke gently.
"You've reminded , so things indeed do not count if only done once or twice."
"..."
Luo En stiffened, his throat a bit dry.
Performing too well seed to have backfired a bit.
Fortunately, the queen of heaven did not intend to give him a second serving of her wrath, but rely curled her lips in a faint hum.
"This is what we'll do. From now on, you'll be my lesser deity."
If he could bring his illegitimate child and mistress up to Olympus, why couldn't she do the sa?
Besides, his betrayal of marriage wasn't just a one-ti thing. If she were to follow the principle of fair reciprocity, there were many more instances for her to catch up on.
However, she was not that coldhearted bastard; even if she sought revenge, she at least had to choose a target that was pleasing to the eye.
And the one before her seed quite right.
As Hera was secretly strategizing, Luo En cautiously raised his hand.
"Uh, there's sothing I forgot to tell you. My real na is Luo En, and I am a lesser deity of Hestia, in charge of wine and joy."
"It's you!"
Hearing this unexpected answer, Hera was montarily stunned.
She had heard of the God of Wine, Luo En.
During the great trial against Poseidon, this newly appointed lesser deity stood in for Hestia at divine council etings and handled so affairs of the Hestia Temple. He was well regarded among the Olympus deities for his excellent working abilities and interpersonal skills.
Yet during that ti, Zeus was busy having affairs, and she was busy catching him in the act, so she hardly returned to Olympus and, therefore, never formally t this legendary God of Wine.
Unexpectedly, she and this God of Wine had sohow crossed paths in such an unforeseen manner.
"Lady Hestia has been good to ..."
Luo En skillfully played his top defensive card, sincerely declining Hera's offer.
"So, thank you for your kindness, but I am afraid I cannot serve at your command."
"Not necessarily!"
However, Hera lifted her head with confidence and spoke decisively.
"Big sister never cares about the gains and losses of divine authority. Worse cos to worst, I'll trade her two lesser deities for you, she'll agree to it!"
Hearing the queen of heaven showed no sign of backing off, Luo En imdiately felt a stomach ache coming on.
Damn it, this might have gone too far.
"Where is big sister now?"
"In Athens..."
"Good, take to her!"
Hera decisively decided on her next course of action, a look of eager anticipation on her face.
Looking through the water light concentrated in the palm of her hand at the reflected image, the queen, tidying herself up before leaving, couldn't help but touch her slightly flushed cheek, her lips curving into a pleased smile.
It seed she had not looked forward to an event like this in a long ti.
However, at that mont, Luo En's feelings were entirely different.
Take Hera to Athens?
Not to ntion whether Hestia would hang him up and lash him upon learning that he had brought Hera to poach from her court.
The Goddess of Justice, Themis, and the Goddess of mory, Mnemosyne, were still atop War God Mountain.
God knows what kind of chemical reaction would occur when Zeus's present and forr lovers t.
If he really did this, he didn't even know into how many pieces he might end up.
"Aren't we leaving?"
Hearing Hera's sowhat displeased urging, Luo En had no choice but to summon his Bronze Chariot, bracing himself.
After all, there was still a long way to go, and he had a clash with Thebes; he would think of sothing along the way.
Reassuring himself, Luo En loaded up the queen of heaven and set off towards Athens.
