Several days later, on the way to Cyprus Island, Luo En heard so rumors coming from the Kingdom of Corinth.

Their King and City Builder, Sisyphus, having faced death three tis, still returned safely from the Netherworld and was welcod by his subjects. He was esteed by the cunning and clever Corinthians as "the most ingenious hero in the Mortal World."

Now basking in his fa, Sisyphus was throwing a grand banquet at the Royal Palace to celebrate his rebirth. During the feast, he exaggerated stories about how he had cleverly escaped the vigilant guard of the God of Sleep, tricked the ferocious three-headed dog of Hell, cunningly stolen the golden bough from the Queen of the Underworld's garden, and finally with Ferryman Charon's help, returned to the Mortal World...

Being a party of this tale, Luo En didn't mind Sisyphus hogging all the lilight and hiding Tethys's and his identity.

On the contrary, the more the old trickster boasted and sought the spotlight, the more it played into his interests.

After all, having such a wall as a windbreak to take the hits for him, Luo En could easily deflect any trouble he had caused in the Netherworld, and place all the bla on Sisyphus's shoulders.

Even if that old scamr t with disaster, caught by Hecate loitering around, or any other deities of the Netherworld, and was thrown into Tartarus Hell for punishnt, Luo En wasn't scared at all.

Because, on one hand, he and Tethys were in such good disguises that even Sisyphus couldn't see through their true identities; on the other hand, they were cautious enough not to leave any direct personal information. They also preferred to knock people out before having secret conversations — Sisyphus had spent more ti unconscious than awake on their journey.

So even if Sisyphus was caught with a loose tongue, the bla would only follow back to Adonis, naturally assuming they were rely henchn sent to fish for the Prince of Cyprus.

Consequently, the bla would then logically shift to Aphrodite.

The weight of a plant-affiliated deity and a Chief God of Olympus was substantial enough for them to carry the bla.

Perfect!

Luo En reviewed all the minutiae of his journey to the Netherworld once again, checking for any fatal oversights, and, finding none, he walked satisfied out of the contemplative woods and continued on his journey.

Before him lay the city-state of Cyprus, its profile entering his line of sight, accompanied by the scent of fields and fragrant petals blown in by the breeze; the bay andered into distant mountains, forming a beautiful curve; and the sunrise gilded the sea with dazzling light, the foam of Paphos's waters stacking layer upon layer.

Having encountered twist after twist in the Netherworld, Luo En couldn't help feeling a sense of otherworldliness as he gazed upon this beautiful natural scenery once again.

Well, I'm almost there.

Calculating the ti, Tethys and Echidna should be arriving soon as well; I need to notify dusa and the other two to head out of the city to et us ahead of ti.

Luo En pondered for a mont, then casually took out a dusa-emblem and activated the resonance spells within it, contacting the Gorgon sisters at War God Mountain to explain the situation.

Hearing that her mother had miraculously revived and was en route from Athens, dusa couldn't contain her joy, her affection and gratitude for Luo En overflowing.

However, Stheno and Euryale were not in good spirits, still harboring old grudges from being stabbed and whipped painfully.

——Because a certain asshole had pulled up his pants and run off, resulting in the ones who drugged them being discovered by Hestia, and then, the Goddess of the Hearth, enraged, had smacked them around repeatedly, causing them to be bedridden for half a month.

"It was Asclepius who mixed the drugs for you, and it was this kid who betrayed you. If you have a problem, take it up with him! What does this have to do with ?" Luo En imdiately defended himself with a darkened face upon hearing the irrational accusations from the two young Gorgons.

However, no sooner had he finished speaking than the atmosphere on the other end froze. Stheno and Euryale opened their mouths but hesitated to speak. dusa, standing to the side, also pursed her lips tightly, with a troubled expression.

Seeing their reaction, Luo En's mind raced, and his expression shifted slightly.

"Did sothing happen to Asclepius?" he asked, though his tone was more assertive than inquisitive.

Confronted with Luo En's searching gaze, dusa, who was not skilled at lying, was the first to give in. She bit her lip and responded in a low voice, "He's dead, during the ti you were away..."

"How did he die? Give the details!" Luo En pressed.

Despite anticipating the outco from the Gorgon sisters' reactions, Luo En couldn't help but feel a sinking in his heart at this unexpected turn of events.

And as the other side recounted everything that happened to the dicine God in his absence, Luo En's expression gradually beca unsettled.

The stubborn fool hadn't listened to his advice to stop researching and using the Elixir of Immortality.

Even when all samples of the Elixir were taken and the Blood of Gorgon was critically depleted, he still did not extinguish his passion for dicine; instead, he changed his approach, beginning trials with common herbs to replicate the effects.

It must be said, the future dicine God was indeed extraordinarily gifted.

After continuous trials and effort, although he couldn't fully replicate Farsh's Elixir of Immortality, he managed to produce an Imitation dicine using ordinary herbs, slightly less effective but spectacular nonetheless.

Basically, as long as the victim had a breath left, this potion could pull them back from the Gates of Hell.

Although the effects were slightly inferior, this potion could be mass-produced!
