Luo En glanced and lightly snorted, unmoved, "Are we that close?"
Thetis handed the bronze badge to Luo En and spoke faintly, "Then consider it the first favor you owe ."
"Are you sure? My favors are quite valuable..." Luo En grumbled as he stepped forward and placed the bronze badge around Thetis's snowy neck.
Having successfully gotten her way, Thetis's face blood with a bright smile, tucked the special necklace into her neckline, rose from the fire, and walked toward the tent under the night sky.
As he watched the Ocean Goddess's graceful figure disappear from his field of view, Luo En, bathed in the moonlight, looked at his hands that still held so residual warmth, and shook his head while murmuring.
"At a loss..."
However, it was only a small loss for now; who could say about the future.
He chuckled sardonically, extinguished the remaining fire with his hand, rose, and walked towards his own tent, preparing to rest well, to replenish his spirit for the full schedule ahead tomorrow.
Even though he had successfully swindled Hecate on the Sea of Okeanos.
But, given her true identity and power, even The Furies and Eris combined probably couldn't stop this embodint of chance.
So, it was better to set off early in the morning, heading for Athens.
Preferably, before Hecate.
This woman was no easy target, and her trip to Athens couldn't possibly be for tourism, could it?
Hopefully, there wouldn't really be any accidents there...
Rubbing his sowhat sore brow, Luo En sighed softly, casually pulled open the curtain, and walked into the tent.
Then—
He turned around nonchalantly, suddenly activated [Goat], and took off running!
"Snap!"
A crisp snap echoed inside the tent as the exit and pathways in front of him twisted and turned, multiplying into hundreds, a single path branching off into thousands.
A mont later, the Goat, having run at full speed through several intersections, hazily circled back to the starting point.
"Why are you running?"
Accompanied by a languid voice, the purple-haired Witchcraft Goddess sat up from the warm bed, yawning and rubbing her sleepy eyes, appearing just awakened, with her snow-white arms and jade-like shoulders exposed.
Luo En looked at the tent covered in pulsating light patterns, turned helplessly, and forced a stiff smile on his face.
"You must be worn out covering our retreat, and the sea breeze is so cold, I was of course bringing a cup of hot tea to warm you up."
"Worn out? I wouldn't say that, I just had a friendly exchange with them. They were quite reasonable and promised to stop harassing you from now on," Hecate said as she opened her five fingers, blowing gently through her smiling lips, sending a few jet-black feathers fluttering in front of Luo En.
The familiar color and texture of the feathers caused Luo En's heartbeat to slow for a mont, then his face broke into a brilliant and affectionate smile.
"I knew it, The Furies and Eris have no standing to challenge your majesty!"
However, beneath the surface praise, Luo En couldn't help but curse silently in his heart.
What offspring of Uranus?
What remnants of Nyx?
Not even able to withstand Hecate for half a day, they were beaten down, nothing but utter failures leaving feathers all over the place.
With Hecate appearing silently in his bedroom and bringing these feathers, the outco at sea was obvious without even thinking.
Eris and The Furies must have been severely dealt with.
Indeed, Hecate was unreasonably strong!
Having his suspicions confird, Luo En felt inwardly alard, his wariness towards Hecate rising to the highest level.
"Enough with the flattery, you know my rules," Hecate said as she waved her hand, cutting off the complints, then propped up her chin and scrutinized the young man before her who had betrayed his own ntor.
"So, how will you repay ?"
The gifts of gods always co with a steep price.
Similarly, the blessings and aid of a deity are never without reason.
The Goddess, her curves partially concealed and revealed, her beautiful eyes shifting, seed to have co up with an excellent idea and spoke with interest.
"How about, with your body?"
"...!"
In an instant, Luo En's heart clenched, he looked astonished at his ntor, then instinctively stepped back two paces amidst the ambiguous and heavy atmosphere.
