Eris did not directly answer but instead threw out a question with relish.

"Lad, do you know what the oldest and most intense human emotion is?"

"Fear!"

Luo En blurted out, lowering his head in deep thought.

At this mont, upon hearing the answer, Eris nodded with satisfaction, a look of approval spreading across her face.

"That's right. Fear is not only the most intense of human emotions, but it is also the genesis of the gods!"

As she spoke, the red-haired goddess mused unhurriedly.

"The great Heavenly God Uranus despised all of his children.

He said that these seeds were growing only toward evil,

and one day, they would pay for it.

Thus, the Heavenly Father gave his children a mocking na called 'Titans',

which ans 'The Frightened,' born carrying the burden of fear..."

Luo En listened silently as the doubts in his eyes gradually dissipated sowhat.

The Frightened—Titans born carrying the burden of fear?

So this was the origin of the Titan gods.

And following that, Eris pointed to the ground, her scarlet eyes revealing a hint of mockery.

"Likewise, when the world stabilized and the gods no longer derived enough authority from their devouring, human fear beca particularly important.

The fear of thunder gave birth to the invincible 'thunderbolt';

the fear of war sharpened the god of war's great sword, gold bow and arrows, and the spear of victory;

the fear of death made even sleep terrifying to life;

and lastly, the reverence for divine affairs brought prosperity to Olympus..."

Luo En nodded, lost in thought.

The principle was simple: the birth of faith stemd mainly from two sources.

From growing wildly in [Fear], or fernting in [Grace].

Compared to the latter, the forr is easier and more convenient to obtain.

And it brings imdiate effects.

Most of the ancient gods were born from humankind's fear of nature.

And the Titan gods born carrying the burden of "Fear" were no exception.

They needed human fear as the cornerstone to consolidate their divine power.

For this, they continuously descended disasters, stirred up strife, and warned mortals to maintain awe, continually offering sacrifices to the chief gods above with their humble bodies, in reverence and worship.

Therefore, 'Discord' is the norm, aligning with their interests, whereas 'Harmony' is like poison to them.

But now that the Goddess of Harmony has transford into a dragon and left this land, why tornt the Thebans ti and again?

At this point, Eris seed to perceive Luo En's confusion and spoke lightly.

"Because this land has produced a [Seed] drastically different from [Fear], which seems capable of shaking the glory of the gods, and I don't like it."

A seemingly light statent, upon reaching Luo En's ears, was like a thunderclap.

For, the [Seed] Eris referred to might very well be him!

The sole God Among n among the Twelve Olympians!

The only one of all Titan bloodlines who forged a ladder from joy rather than perfecting divine work with fear—a standout!

It appeared that Eris's actions might well have been prompted by Zeus himself.

Luo En suppressed his surging emotions and maintained a calm exterior.

"Then have you found it?"

"No, because it has long been uprooted."

Good...

Luo En quietly breathed a sigh of relief and feigned confusion as he continued to inquire.

"Then why do you continue to treat the Thebans so harshly?"

"The soil that grew the [Seed] must be thoroughly overturned and pests weeded out!"

Eris gazed down upon Thebes from above, her scarlet eyes showing a touch of cruel excitent.

"Besides, I like it!"

At this response, Luo En was montarily at a loss for words.

Indeed, the Goddess of Discord wouldn't be herself if she didn't stir up trouble and create fear for the gods to increase their worship. It's not like she'd engage in charity every day, is it?

"Hey, after all that's been said, how are you finding things?"

After a simple exchange, Eris continued to inquire, her proud chest thrust forward, a hint of a seductive smile on her face.

"If you satisfy , I can fulfill one of your requests, any one..."

Seeing that the conversation was getting nowhere, Luo En simply tore off his disguise and shook his head in refusal.

"Forget it, I've been into lighter tastes recently, I prefer vegetarian."

Facing Luo En's gaze, Eris unconsciously scanned over her ample chest, quickly catching on to the taunting implication and couldn't help but fly into a rage, waving her hand dismissively.

"Unappreciative fool!"

In an instant, the space surrounding Luo En surged with blood energy.

Blood seeds scattered nearby at so point drew the surrounding blood energy, condensing into crimson sharp swords that shot towards the target at the center from all directions.

At the sa ti, Luo En raised his right hand, grasping forward.

In an instant, countless light patterns fluctuated in the space before him, Hers script, linear divine patterns, Titan Holy Words, and primitive letters constructed a dazzling magic circle diagram that focused on the center.

In a blaze of splendid auroras, the two deities faced each other with angry curses.

"You really had ill intentions!"

"Aren't you the sa?"

Clearly, neither was a good bird; they had both been setting up the battlefield under the guise of "peaceful" conversation.

Once they turned hostile, they each prepared to strike with thunderous force.

However, two cunning deities had counted on each other, the advantage nullifying the other.

For now, they could only stick to the old rules of the Age of Greek Gods and fight it out for real.

Whoever wins gets to decide.

Wielding blood-colored twin swords, Eris cut through the pre-set magic arrays, initiating the attack while delivering a moral critique.

"Pah, shaless wretch!"

"A mighty Goddess of Discord only knows how to bully mortals and uses underhanded sneak attacks, and you have the nerve to criticize !"

Luo En retorted without rcy, instantly manifesting an incarnation as a [warrior], while gripping the massively transford [Spear of Nation-Building], shattering countless crimson sharp swords and thrusting forward.

A strong will to destroy and refined combat skills made Eris's complexion change drastically when she took the hit head-on.

"What is that thing?"

"I'll tell you once you're lying down!"

Seeing Eris's fear of the [Spear of Nation-Building], Luo En felt greatly reassured.

Status doesn't represent strength, as shown by Nereus, the senior who was waited on hand and foot.

Just as Eris relied on Zeus's wariness of her and didn't care about Hestia's opinion,

he didn't need to consider Zeus's views either, and was ready to deal with this troubleso Goddess who stumbled upon his spear.

At the sa ti, Eris also realized this deity affiliated with the hearth system, oddly enough, had an off-the-charts combat ability. She imdiately beca somber, but then her eyes shown with a surprised delight as she stared straight at Luo En's back and called out loudly.

"Father God, he's bullying !"

Luo En had a sudden feeling of foreboding and looked back instinctively.

However, all he saw was a pitch-black night sky.

Almost at the sa ti, there ca a whistling sound from the front.

Not good!

In an instant, Luo En's thoughts raced, and he imdiately turned forward again, his [Spear of Nation-Building] sweeping horizontally with the force of his arm and waist.

"Clang clang clang clang!"

In that mont, countless blood-colored sharp swords were shattered one after another, and two crimson longswords followed closely, heavily striking the spearhead.

Golden and red ether explosions intertwined in the night sky, and two figures were flung back.

— Luo En 200 ters, Eris 100 ters.

But as the Goddess of Discord bowed her head to look at the shallow cut below her rib and the unhard figure across from her, her smug smile froze.

— She was bleeding, the other was not.

Even a surprise attack only resulted in a stalemate.

This guy is not easy to deal with!

Noticing the sinister buildup quickly forming in the other's eyes, Eris felt her heart lurch, a strong sense of bad on filling her mind.

The next second, she didn't hesitate to trust her instincts, and a pair of pitch-black wings unfurled behind her.

Then, the two massive wings flapped fiercely, carrying her swiftly away.

She's fleeing?

Luo En watched Eris, who had just stood up to a few strikes and now turned tail to run. After a mont of hesitation, the [warrior] behind him instantly changed into a [Goat], activating the power of Extre Speed to give chase.

I've dealt with Ares, can't I handle you too?
