A group of Titan Giants and divine beasts that had just crawled out of the dungeon hadn't even had ti to react before they were suddenly struck by imnse force, sent soaring into the air, and crashed down heavily. Bright red blood was flung about wantonly, and the clear sound of snapping bones was incessant.
anwhile, three Giants who prided themselves on their arm strength and bravery, defiantly swinging their fists, moved forward shoulder to shoulder, attempting to tear apart this rampaging "Bull."
But the mont they made contact, the once substantial "Bull" suddenly dispersed into a mist, transforming into an agile and swift "Goat" that leaped high over their heads. Then, two legs enveloped in golden divinity generated fierce winds as they descended like a whip made of steel.
Accompanied by a series of dull booms, the heads of the three obstructing Titan Giants exploded, a rancid mixture of red, black, and white fluids spurting from their severed necks, and sprinkling like rain upon the dense woods and ground around them.
"Damn it! It's a half-breed from Olympus, everyone, attack together!"
The team's leader, a Giant with a lion's head at the front, seeing his companions fall one after the other to that figure, imdiately waved his hand and roared, ordering his n to deal with this threat from their rear first.
Upon hearing the command, the Titan "Eagle-Winged Divine Beast," a "Stone Titan" with a body ablaze, and the prival "Magic Beast" with seven or eight snake heads growled as they charged out of the ranks, each unleashing their deadliest skills.
In an instant, bronze feathers shot out like arrows, torrents of red-black flas gushed forth, and a downpour of dark green venom all assailed them relentlessly.
Seeing there was no escape, Luo En stomped his foot heavily, and the discs rotated behind him. The streams in the surrounding rivers, the moisture in the air, even the water veins beneath the ground, all converged around him under the pull of divinity, forming a massive water-blue "Monoceros."
Then, the Great Whale swayed its head and tail, opened its mouth to swallow, and sucked in the incoming feathers, flas, and venom in one fell swoop.
Then, at the brink of its limit, the whale, now a black-green monstrous creature, let out a low growl and charged into the enemy's front lines before bursting apart with a loud boom.
The unsuspecting "Eagle-Winged Divine Beast," "Stone Titan," and prival "Magic Beast" were drenched head-to-toe, emitting sizzling corrosion noises as choking plus of smoke rose from their bodies.
Painful screams followed imdiately.
"My turn!"
Simultaneously, the figure on the mountain path had already used the "Goat's" divine speed to charge into the ranks, and imdiately switched to the golden shadow of a "Bull" behind him. His arms, wrapped in golden divinity, swung down like a massive battering ram.
The first to bear the brunt, the "Stone Titan," shattered in an instant, turning into scorched black rubble that tumbled across the ground, its core of living fire extinguished by the raging divine torrent.
The "Eagle-Winged Divine Beast" that ca next didn't even have ti to react before one of its huge legs was seized.
Suddenly, this towering Titan creature was flung around like a rag doll by trendous force, repeatedly smashed against the ground, leaving one horrific crater after another.
Feathers and flesh flew everywhere, making the scene horrifyingly bloody and cruel.
"Hiss~~!"
Seeing its two companions et such a grisly end, the remaining prival "Magic Beast" let out a frightened scream, raising its multiple snake heads, eroded to the bone, and frantically spewing venom mixed with its divine blood.
The mont the dense green liquid touched the air, it instantly expanded into a vast poisonous fog that swept toward the front.
In an instant, the area beca dark and oppressive, with any plants or animals that ca into contact with the poison withering and dying imdiately, even stones began to smoke and sizzle.
Luo En rely inhaled from a distance and felt his head grow heavy and his vision blur.
It must be said that, in the Age of Greek Gods, "Poison" was a particularly difficult divinity to appraise, with both high upper and lower limits.
Mighty heroes like Hercules and the sage Chiron had fallen to the corruption of "Poison's" divinity.
As the poisonous fog spread, Luo En turned his head to look behind him. His brows furrowed as he saw several figures collapse like drunken people, spitting foam at the mouth after looking over a number of cows and sheep.
The toxin this ti might not be as dreadful as the "Hydra's," far from enough to bring him down, but ordinary demigods and mortals might not be able to withstand it.
In just a few seconds, ordinary people affected by the poison had already collapsed in droves.
At that mont, seeing the "Divine Blood Guard" and King Adtos beside him succumb to unconsciousness, their faces turning a cyanotic purple as black blood oozed from their mouths, Apollo finally couldn't bear it any longer. Holding his friend tightly, he bit through his lip in rage, turned towards the figure that had appeared before him, and let out a humiliated, explosive shout.
"Help us!"
"Zing~!"
Just then, from outside the green fog, a clear sound of a "Lyre" resonated, followed by the flute, divine words, and chants playing in concert.
"Song of Sound, Verse of Music, I command thee, restore the light!"
Accompanied by elegant chords and chanting, the dense aether was summoned by divine music, turning into musical notes that crashed into the poisonous fog, creating a sizzling sound as if searing the air, burning away the foul greenish-gray mist like sunlight breaking through clouds.
For a mont, the Cottus Giants who had long dwelled underground clutched their eyes, letting out agonized wails.
The lion-headed leader in the group clearly knew the score, and as he saw the nine erudite goddesses, each holding an instrunt, a scroll, or a wax tablet, gracefully approach, he imdiately narrowed his pupils and waved his hand to order a retreat.
"It's the Muses! Retreat! Retreat quickly!"
Upon hearing that iconic na of the deity, the remaining dozen or so Giants scrambled into a dungeon, fleeing deep into the veins of the earth, aided by the divinity bestowed by earth's protection.
As the last of the Titan monsters disappeared over the horizon, this small-scale rebellion of the Cottus clan ended once again without incident.
The nine Muses who had co to the rescue flew swiftly over the dissipating poison fog and arrived in succession at the front of the sloping hill, each reaching out an arm, trying to help the Chief God to his feet.
"Lord Apollo, how are you?"
"Get away!"
However, Apollo, dressed as a shepherd, swept his arm out without the slightest hint of rcy, pushing away the surrounding won with a face as dark as still waters.
"A bunch of useless trash!"
Chastised without reason, the nine Muses bit their lips tightly, their faces turning sowhat pale.
Luo En, seeing this, couldn't help but frown and spoke up in their defense.
"Apollo, what are you doing?"
"I'm disciplining my Lesser Deities. Since when is it your turn to interfere?"
Hearing the challenge, Apollo glanced at Luo En behind him, his anger growing even more intense.
It was all this man's fault that he had exposed his most desperate and disgraceful side in front of his subordinates!
And these Muses, they were a bunch of useless trash too!
They could have appeared earlier or later but chose to show up exactly when he had to ask others for help.
It seed, perhaps because he couldn't stand the God of Light's workplace bullying, that Luo En spoke out with righteous indignation on behalf of the innocent Muses beside him.
"During the ti you were being punished, Lady Artemis entrusted them to for care. Seeing them treated unjustly, I naturally have the duty to protect them!"
Hearing these words, Apollo felt as if struck by lightning, his face turning the color of liver as he looked incredulously at the surrounding Muses and Luo En before him.
"You... taking care of them?"
"Yes!"
Luo En nodded, candidly revealing the experiences of the past three years.
"Because you were being punished, they were also coveted and implicated. To ensure their safety, Lady Artemis asked to take care of the Muses in your stead."
"Take care of them for ? Should I be thanking you?" Apollo's face turned cold, his voice trembling slightly.
"There's no need for that, I was rely entrusted by Lady Artemis."
Luo En generously waved his hand, but then his expression changed, and he pointed behind to the Muses, declaring their grievances with righteous indignation.
"As for these Muses, they have been implicated by you, but they didn't abandon their duties and have been tending to your temple. They ca all the way from Olympus to Thessaly to visit you because they heard it was unsafe. You could be ungrateful for that, but to berate them instead is simply outrageous!"
Hearing this unrestrained scolding, the Muses, who knew Apollo's temper all too well, were frightened and turned pale.
Just as they were about to speak up and make ands, the God of Light burst into a dark, scornful laugh, looking at Luo En and the Muses in front of him with disgust and humiliation, as if assessing a pack of treacherous lovers.
"Fine, fine, fine! So you've all beco a clique. Do you want to take my place as well?"
