Chapter 1115: Chapter 133: Descend, Divine Power of the Minotaur!_3

Coincidentally, the most famous two tragedies brewed by GEASS had their protagonists on this battlefield.

One is the “Son of Light,” Cu Chulainn.

His GEASS included these three tenets:

First, due to his na, he must never consu dog at or approach a bonfire for life;

Second, he cannot refuse food offered by those of lower status than himself;

Third, he cannot refuse the requests of a bard.

Upon learning these secrets, Queen Maeve, who had an old grudge against him, disguised herself as an old woman roasting dog at by the roadside while he was on his way to his final battle, inviting him to eat dog at, putting him in a dilemma, forcing him to violate his GEASS and thus losing his protective power.

Subsequently, Maeve found the bard Leo to command Cu Chulainn to hand over his famous magic spear. In Western legends, bards often hold high social status, their words capable of being used as testimony in court or written into history. This implied that bards needed to possess noble character, but Leo sought revenge for his father who was killed by Cu Chulainn.

Finally, Maeve, chanting “The King’s Spear pierces the King!” thrice threw the magic spear. The first two tis, it killed the charioteer and Cu Chulainn’s beloved steed, the horse king Mogh Greine. The third strike pierced Cu Chulainn’s body, leaving this Son of Light powerless to resist, dying tragically.

And the other is the “Radiant Appearance,” Diarmuid, before him now.

Due to the GEASS of “unable to refuse the request of a woman in distress,” he was helpless but to break his vow of loyalty and elope with Great Commander Finn’s fiancée Grainne. And because of the GEASS of “unable to hunt wild boars,” Finn seized the opportunity for revenge, leading to his death by a boar’s tusk.

In short, these are two unlucky fellows damned by won and oaths.

So, during the Celtic God Era, don’t make oaths lightly or provoke won knowledgeable about GEASS easily, lest even a Divine King ends up falling.

Luo En shook his head in secret mockery, stepping forward.

Upon seeing this, Grainne, regardless of her tearful eyes, hurriedly blocked in front of the unconscious Diarmuid, spreading her arms, and declared loudly:

“I am the daughter of Supre King Conmark, the Princess of Ireland. He is but a re guard, insignificant. Should you desire people, cities, treasure, by all ans, use as a bargaining chip to negotiate with my father! As long as you let him go, I promise to cooperate obediently with you!”

“Do you care about him that much?”

“It was to save that he got injured, I cannot ignore him.”

Seeing the trembling Irish princess who, by instinct, still shielded Diarmuid, Luo En couldn’t help but comnded: “Truly a person of affection and righteousness.”

Then, he shifted his tone, asking with great interest:

“So, do you like him?”

Grainne was slightly taken aback, a faint blush climbing onto her pale cheeks, suddenly bewildered.

Though not having spent much ti with Diarmuid, she had long heard of this leading warrior from the Fiona Battle Group, the dream of all Irish maidens.

Like those lovestruck girls, she too admired Diarmuid’s looks, appreciated his fidelity, respected his bravery, and wished for such an outstanding husband.

But, her father had promised Finn, the Great Commander of the Fiona Battle Group, in maintaining royal power, to marry her directly.

“Silence ans acquiescence.”

Luo En spoke reassuringly, his smile broadening,

“Don’t be shy. It’s natural for a beauty to love a hero, let alone that he risked his life to save you just now, and you stood before him without hesitation at the life-and-death mont. With such true feelings in adversity, you’re simply a pair made in heaven.”

“So what, what does it have to do with you?”

“I can help fulfill your wish, free you from the engagent and allow you to be with your beloved.”

Grainne’s gaze grew more vigilant while looking at the man offering an olive branch before her.

Indeed, she harbored inappropriate thoughts towards the loyal and handso guard beside her, and saying admiration wasn’t excessive, but she didn’t trust that the man before her was so kind-hearted.

Grainne took a deep breath, asking:

“Then, what is the price?”

“Help with one small task.”

Without waiting for Grainne to respond, Luo En continued smilingly,

“But there’s no need to rush to agree. I’ll give you three days to think it over carefully, and when you’ve made up your mind, I’ll personally co to find you.”

Then he raised his hand to lift the unconscious Diarmuid off the ground, looking sincere:

“This little fellow is severely injured and the journey to the Alster Royal City is not short. For his safety, let handle it.”

“I’ll be your hostage, don’t hurt him…”

Grainne beca anxious and wanted to rush forward to stop him.

However, with a montary blur of vision, she found her body transported out of the dense fighting forest.

“It’s Her Royal Highness the Princess!”

Looking at a few Fiona warriors approaching from a distance upon hearing the sound, Grainne involuntarily shut her mouth, her expression uncertain.

anwhile, in the misty, dense forest.

Three figures appeared behind Luo En, with the petite Scouty scooting forward, eyes showing a hint of disdain:

“You actually incited soone’s fiancée and subordinate to elope, you truly are despicable!”

“What’s called eloping? That’s a mutual journey for love, a praiseworthy act, which I couldn’t bear not to help.”

“Are you truly so kind-hearted?”

“Naturally!”

After all, I’m from Crete Island…

Luo En whispered to himself, taking pride in his Minotaur ancestor’s bloodline.

“I don’t believe a word of it!” Scouty uncovered a certain person’s true face unceremoniously, snorting, “Were it not for our sensing the intertwining strands encircling these two people which link the entire fate of Ireland, would you have lent a hand?”

“Helping others and achieving my goals, can’t both happen at once? Is a win-win not a good thing?”

Luo En smiled serenely, then carried the unconscious Diarmuid, moving towards Belldandy and Urd,

“The person is in hand. What next?”

“Be patient, and at the critical mont, give a gentle push. The wheel of fate will naturally veer to the track you desire. This is the safest, most ti-saving, and effortless approach.”

Urd replied solemnly, her gaze deep and profound.

Luo En understood, dispelling the last trace of doubt in his heart.

In essence, fate also has its patterns. To achieve the desired outco from fate, screaming “My fate is mine, not heaven’s,” and charging forward thinking brute force can crash through the weaving net of destiny, attempting to defy fate, often results in being schooled by reality.

By grasping certain rules and seizing destiny’s nodes, applying the right force can produce twice the result with half the effort, achieving the desired outcos with minor costs.

This is the real usage of an addon like the Power of Fate.

Belldandy was silent for a mont, her gaze resting on Diarmuid in Luo En’s hands, showing hesitancy:

“But, are you sure Her Royal Highness the Princess will cooperate obediently?”

“Rest assured, she will.”

Luo En assuredly uttered, the corners of his lips curling into a delightful arc, murmuring silently in his heart.

Because this is the destined conclusion…
