Chapter 632: Chapter 632: The Yin House

Rescuing people was of utmost importance. Ling Feng didn’t spend any more ti thinking about where the other three people were or what their condition was; he just wanted to send the boy up first and then see.

Back at the rope, he said to the child, "Hold onto

tightly, I’ll take you up, and then I’ll co back to save your family, okay?"

"Okay..."

The child’s voice was small from inside his arms, clearly still not recovered from the shock.

But he had clasped Ling Feng’s neck tightly, so Ling Feng grabbed the rope and climbed up at an extrely fast pace!

Upon reaching the ground, the sight of the child being saved made everyone’s heart lighten!

"Find

a flashlight; it’s too dark down there to see clearly!"

Ling Feng handed the child to Lin Xue while calling out to the crowd.

"Here, it’s ready!"

A villager handed him a large powerful flashlight.

Ling Feng nodded, clipped it to his waist, and went back underground!

By the ti he returned to the house and looked around with the strong beam of the flashlight, he discovered all three people were there!

They lay on the earthen bed, eyes firmly shut, but after checking, he found that all three had only fainted!

It seed that the ground collapse had happened so suddenly that they had been knocked unconscious before they could react.

The three were two won and a man, adults, a couple, and a girl in her teens. Ling Feng thought to himself that it was fortunate they were unhard; it was a lucky break from an unfortunate situation!

After thinking for a mont, he first went over to the man, placed his palm over the top of his head, and poured Spiritual Power into him!

A mont passed, and the man groaned, then slowly regained consciousness.

"Big brother, don’t panic, listen to !"

Seeing the man open his eyes with a look of surprise, Ling Feng quickly spoke.

After explaining what had happened, the man urgently said, "Quick, save my wife and child!"

"I know, but I need your help to do it!"

With that, Ling Feng revived the woman and the little girl with the sa thod.

The family of three, upon waking and learning that the boy had been brought up, all breathed a sigh of relief.

Soon, Ling Feng helped all three reach the surface.

The villagers were already aware of the situation, and when the last man was brought up, a cheer burst from the crowd!

People looked at Ling Feng with admiration in their eyes and expressed their gratitude.

The calamity had co unexpectedly, and although their ho was gone, they were grateful just to be alive!

"Please help take care of them. Their physical condition is okay, but they’re still struggling to cope ntally. Thank you all!"

After speaking, Ling Feng turned to look at Lin Xue and Lin Hu, "I need to go down again!"

"Why?" Lin Xue asked.

"This collapse is too strange, and there’s a weird sll underground. I’m going to check it out," Ling Feng replied.

When Lin Xue heard this, she paused for a mont, "Are you saying there’s sothing beneath here?"

"Mm, it feels strange. Let’s go see what actually happened," Ling Feng nodded.

Lin Xue said, "Then I’m coming with you."

Ling Feng hesitated for a mont, then nodded, "Alright, you can provide the lighting for ."

With that, he wrapped an arm around her waist, grabbed the rope, and jumped down the hole!

"Ling Feng, you be careful! If my sister bruises even a patch of skin, I won’t let you off!" Lin Hu stood at the edge of the hole, shouting loudly down.

By this ti, the two had already reached underground, and a sweep of the powerful flashlight revealed a huge subterranean space in front of them!

"My God! What is this place?"

Seeing such a vast space ahead, Lin Xue was dumbfounded!

The underground space was as big as a football field, and in the distance, silhouettes of buildings lood. Not just her, Ling Feng was a bit stunned as well!

"It might be an ancient tomb or sothing, we’ll know once we go take a look!"

After saying this, Ling Feng took her hand and started walking forward.

They hadn’t walked far when a tall building appeared in front of them, its shape resembling a temple. Above the entrance hung a huge plaque with two characters inscribed on it: "Zhang Residence."

"..."

"What does that an? Could this be soone’s ho?"

Ling Feng was speechless, while Lin Xue was very curious, turning her head to ask him.

"I don’t know either. Did this Zhang person eat too much and decide to build a residence underground?"

The vermillion gate, over two ters high, was already decayed, looking like it would crumble into a pile of rotten wood at the slightest touch.

Debating whether to go in, Ling Feng hesitated at the entrance.

Logically, upon discovering such a place, one should imdiately notify the cultural relics authority, invite experts to inspect and excavate the site. Acting on his own might inadvertently damage sothing valuable.

But his strong curiosity urged him; he was eager to find out what was inside the underground residence!

At a loss, Ling Feng looked at Lin Xue: "What do you think we should do? Wait for the people from the cultural relics bureau?"

"Let’s take a look first!"

Lin Xue was more decisive than he was. After speaking, she stepped forward and lightly kicked the wooden door.

"Crash!"

Indeed, the door instantly shattered, breaking into countless pieces scattered on the ground.

A cloud of dust rose, and both hastily retreated a few steps.

A few minutes later, when the dust had settled, Lin Xue, bursting with excitent, tugged at Ling Feng’s hand and said, "Co on, let’s hurry and see if there’s any good stuff to snatch up first!"

Ling Feng: "..."

When had this girl beco like him?

After they entered the building, a sweep of their flashlight revealed a very peculiar hall.

The layout inside resembled that of an ordinary living room, but what was unusual was that all the furniture like tables and chairs were exceptionally large!

A chair was two ters tall, and the table even taller, reaching three ters; even with Ling Feng’s stature, he seed like a child when sitting on it!

"This..."

Seeing these furnishings, and a tall altar-like table right in front, Ling Feng was baffled!

"What’s wrong?" Lin Xue asked, turning back.

"Have you ever had such a dream? I rember dreaming about it when I was a child. This place seems to resemble the scenes from the Underworld!" Ling Feng explained.

"Uh..."

Lin Xue looked confused: "I also have a vague mory, this kind of layout gives off a cold and eerie feeling, but I don’t recall having such a dream!"

After finishing, she looked at Ling Feng: "Could the Underworld actually exist?"

Ling Feng gave a wry smile: "Who knows? But judging by the looks of this place, it’s definitely a Yin house without a doubt, just not sure where the tomb owner’s coffin is located."

"It should be at the back, there’s another door there!"

Lin Xue pointed with her small hand, and Ling Feng’s flashlight beam followed.

Beside the huge altar, there indeed was a small door, and they imdiately walked over.

Just as they reached the doorway, Ling Feng suddenly felt his heart skip a beat, so he instantly stopped in his tracks!
