Alto use the first few hours to prepare and make research on what was needed to build a ch. The first hurdle was the model he would work on or in other terms his ch design or blueprint. When faced with this question the first thing he would do was to consider the size of the ch he would be working on.
chs ca in four weight classes, the first weight class was the easiest to fabricate in terms of resources. And that being the light chs, because they were easier to build did not an they were actually easy to build. Light ch because of their size prioritised speed and agility over defense, this ant that they would have to be built well to reduce any bug and we'll streamlined to make those critical movents.
The second side of chs were the more popular ones, and that being the dium weight class chs. They were the most balanced chs in terms of combat as they were versatile in both offense and defense, while not as fast as light chs they made up for it in their defense and versatility. They were able to be ard with heavier weapons and thicker armour. Alto did not want to go this lane just yet, the cost for production would suck him dry. For now he preferred to master each weight class step by step. Only real ch designers could design one but then again was a beginner in the ch designer field supposed to build a ch yet. But since it was a virtual ch it surely couldn't count, right?
The next two chs were far behind Alto's level in leaps and bounds. The next weight class of chs were the heavy chs, the proud devastators in the field of battle. They were practically walking tanks carrying overwhelming firepower, they sacrificed speed and mobility for defense and a devastating payload.
The last weight class was impossible for any one on a small scale production and that being the collosal chs. They were massive city destroying machines built to take on the largest kaijus.
While the purpose of ch designers was to create chs and the purpose of chs being to defeat the kaiju, the players of ch galaxy wars acted quite different. The ga prioritised battles between ch pilots, while this put of certain ch designers from using the gas in-built designer function. The ch pilots found it a good way to sharpen their skills.
Alto had also heard of ch arena duels occuring in the real world. He still felt strange building a ch to be used as a source of amusent but he had to remind himself that his role was to build chs and not pilot them.
Aside from the previous factor of building a virtual ch Alto had another problem to sort out next. He had already chosen to build a light ch since it would be much easier than the other weight classes. Now ca the problem of purpose.
While chs were classified by sizes they also had functions. He had to decide if he wanted to build an assault type ch, a sniper type ch, a support type ch and aerial type ch or a hybrid type ch.
The most probable choice to him was the assault type ch aning the light ch would have to be combat efficient, highly durable and have an advantage in close combat battle. It would be equipped with weapons too.
Alto drafted sothing like a rough draft of the vision he had in mind. The next thing he had to address might have been his biggest problem yet and that being the cost of fabrication.
Since his base model would be the Fenwick-720 he would need to cover the cost of the virtual parts and they were not cheap. Alto chose to address that when the ti ca. Aside from that there was the challenge of the amount of ti he would spend building a ch, he wanted to finish designing the ch in a day and use the remaining ti to fabricate it and sell it.
He had no idea how hard the process truly would be, instead of taking a mont to rest Alto decided to go through the Fenwick-720's specifications once more. It was a generation 2 ch that ca out at the great rise of chs, it's designer was Redshot Enterprise. At the ti Redshot Enterprise was one of the early startups who dared to challenge the world of new chs, it was a ti when different corporations fought for dominance in the world of ch designs, they knew that whoever managed to ride the waves would erge as a bug na in future. It was late in this ti that the Zentrix Corporation started to gain recognition.
Unfortunately for Redshot Enterprise they fell short, the pioneer of the once booming business was a rich playboy who has just finished from a prestigious ch institution, he was said to be a big shot. When the era of chs started to progress with new found technology he had used all of his wealth to gather as many technicians as he could to build chs. His first designs was sowhat operable but he got drunk on his success and thought to mass release new models. In the long run he overworked his entire staff and creates many models that never got approved.
Alto did not know how he was supposed to feel but in a way he was grateful that he would benefit from soone's failure. So maybe being a ch designer ant benefiting from soone's failure. He initiated the digital ch workshop of the ga and brought up a realistic 3D version of the Fenwick-720 he looked at it and admired it. It looked sustainable at best and with his improved knowledge of that era and the guidance of the ch designer protocol he would be able to create an even better ch.
[The ch designer protocol is forbidden from aiding the user in any of his ongoing projects. When the project is completed the ch designer protocol will review the user and offer rewards where needed.]
Alto regretted even asking the system in the first place but he soon got over it and began to rework the Fenwick-720 model. It was in that mont that Alto realised that he was beginning to enjoy working on chs.
