"Welco, The Disciple." The welco screen greeted him as he logged into his designer account on the ga. Alto was not content with his current self now, he was eager to push himself even further but this ti in a totally different area. He was aware of the fact that those who played the gas did so by buying credits used in the ga with actual currency, while these could not be converted back to an actual currency, so designs were actually bought with real currency.
After extensive research Alto got the idea of spreading his wings a little. If he took being a ch designer on the ga seriously and managed to sell a few of his ch models he would receive credits which he could in turn use to buy newer ch design blueprint further increasing his knowledge pool. If he got a new blueprint and the reassemble task ca up again he would be killing more than one bird with one stone.
He would be taking advantage of the ga and expand his understanding of chs while working with a virtual workshop.
While being in the ch division Alto did not receive any rewards or paynt so he did not have any external way to purchase the credits that happened to be the in ga currency.
The professor did not leave any credit in the account she had provided for him, probably because she never expected him to use them in the first place. Without anyone to help him Alto turned to the ch designer protocol for help.
"Hey cha, I need your help to acquire credits in ch galaxy wars. Surely your supercomputer processor can do sothing right?" He tried to appease the system, that is if it could be appeased.
The ch designer protocol responded.
[The ch designer protocol is prohibited from interfering in such fields, since it has to do with the users growth the user the system will conduct an extensive scan on any existing ch design blueprint that can be easily acquired.]
Alto waited for the response of the system which took a few minutes, while he was waiting he dove into so information he found intriguing within the ga. While it acted as a ga it still offered information about the scope of the vast universe to so extent.
Alto learned about the embassy, the world governnt that controlled a majority of all human revising plants, their battle forces and core developnt. What had him more intrigued was the information related to Zentrix Corp, they were the largest ch developnt company in the galaxy. They specialized in creating customizable ch for licensed pilots through its authorisation division.
Because of their position they held imnse political power that rivaled the MUG. Alto dug into the na he had just co across, the MUG was and abbreviation for the ch Union of the Galaxy and they were created by the Embassy to control the laws regarding chs, their pilots and their behaviour throughout the galaxy. Without them in power the other figures like space pirates and rcenaries would be more common.
Alto was taken back by how vast human civilization was, it was a galaxy of worlds he hoped to explore one day. And humans were still reaching farther into space, developing newer technology and trying to defeat the kaiju threat once and for all. It sounded like a noble cause to Alto but it did not intrigue him that much, what he did care about was chs.
Just the the ch designer protocol ca up, Alto's eyes darted to it quickly.
[After extensive search three ch designs have been discovered]
Alto was elated to find out he would be getting not one but three ch designs blueprints for free, but all that joy soon turned to regret as he saw the images of the three chs before his eyes, they looked more like skeletons than actual chs.
Alto could tell that they were from the early second generation of ch designs and if there was anything that best classified as the worst generation of chs it was second gen chs. The Fenwick-720 he had worked on was a bit on the better side but it was a barely capable light ch at best, now the system has brought him the worst of the worst ch designs possible to his plate.
Alto groaned internally.
As if things had not been hard enough the system brought up a ssage.
[A mission has been given to the user]
"You have got to be kidding ." Alto said accompanied with a loud groan. He did not want to even imagine what mission would be handed to him at the mont, looking at the state of the chs told him all he needed to know. They were trash.
[Mission: Sell your first virtual ch. The task should be completed within 7 earth days. Reward for completion is 5000 creation points]
One look at the creation points he would receive was all the motivation he needed. "Seven days huh, I think I can find a way to make it work."
Alto proceeded to identify the three ch designs he had just gotten, he tried to go through their components and was quick to realise that they were anything but dependable. After three hours Alto paused to think about his actions, the mission was to sell his very first virtual ch. If he wanted to make a successful ch that soone would purchase it would have to be a light ch since they were the easiest types of ch. He would need a good blueprint and also would have to fabricate the chs in the virtual lab. Alto had never fabricated one before, he did not know how long it would take either but he estimated it would take a few days.
Also if he managed to finish the ch and put it up for sale, he would have to choose a price. And what was the chances of soone buying the ch design of a newbie ch designer. A good look at the mission given to him by the system told him what the real challenge was, it wanted him to create an operable ch as quickly as he could and also make it appealing to the buyer.
In a way it felt like a type of training where if out in a situation where he would have to create the best ch he could in a short amount of ti he would be able to deliver. Still it was not an easy task but the rewards could not be passed on.
