"Yes elder" On the orders of Zhang Zhan, the subordinate na Zhang Bu walked towards Li Hao.
"Oh? brother Zhang Bu is going to hand the reward. Haha... I appreciate your... Kugh... gugh" Li Hao couldn't complete his sentence as a blade suddenly ca digging into his heart.
Zhang Bu who should have given him the reward, had suddenly attacked him.
Puff... a mouthful of blood was spat out, Li Hao looked at Zhang Bu with disbelieving eyes. His gaze slowly turned towards Elder Zhang Zhan as he asked with much difficulty "Why...".
Li Hao's eyes slowly lost their lustre and fell to the ground.
"Hmph, to think that he dares to expect a reward after leaving young master Zhang Wei behind to die. Bet he was hoping to use us to get his revenge too" Zhang Bu kicked Li Hao's body in scorn and pulled his sword back.
Nobody other than yang chen was surprised by this turn of event.
With Li Hao taken care of, all eyes inadvertently turned towards Yang Chen who was their real target.
"Brat I will ask you a few simple questions, so do not waste my ti" Zhang Zhan who had his eyes on Yang Chen from the start raised his questions.

The question that Zhang Zhan asked first was on everybody's mind. It may sound silly given all the effort they had put to ambush him; however, they needed to ascertain this fact or else it would be way too funny if they mistakenly killed so random person believing that they were Yang Chen.
The person in question was silent, he was weighing his options in his mind. He could try to bluff his way out and deny that he was Yang Chen. However, he knew that this thod wouldn't work since he could tell that these people were ready to kill him regardless of if he really was the person they were after or not so as to wipe any evidence of their clan's involvent.
Hence it mattered not whether he lied.
Given that fact, why should Yang Chen lie? He nodded his head and boldly stated "Indeed, I am Yang Chen".
"Heh" The mont he accepted it, the eyes of the people around him changed, traces of killing intent could be seen surging from their bodies.

"It should have been done long ago, I should have crushed his chest slowly and painfully so that way he would know the pain he had inflicted on others too.. haa... haa...".
Nobody not even Yang Chen himself expected to lash out like that. The mories and the emotions that this body still rembered burst, out like a dam at this mont.
Only after laying all his emotions down, was he finally able to calm his emotions down and regain control.

'Does he even realise what he had done? He had not just killed anybody but the third son of their patriarch'.
The mbers of the Zhang clan trembled thinking what kind of consequences they would have to face once they returned back. They were afraid of facing the anger of the strongest practioner in the cloud city, the clan leader.
