The Xuan sect clearly had far more information than any of the sects here on the ancient ruins. What’s more, one of the missions Lan Feng’s group had been given, was to get hold of the rune plates.
However, now that the other major clans and practitioners have gotten so of the rune plates, it indicated that they have failed the mission. If they went back like this right now, there was no doubt that they would be severely punished.
"What? You think you all have the ability to take the rune plates from the other sects?" At Lan Feng’s sharp retort, the disciples fell silent.
"What’s important right now is to safely guard the three rune plates back to Martial uncle. Once there, I’ll personally ask Elder brother and Martial uncle to take action. At that ti, I’ll see who can take the items that belong to my sect".

Standing on one corner, Yang Chen saw Lan Feng exit the hall with his entourage.
"That guy is definitely planning sothing" Amon laughed delightedly. To be able to suppress their hostility and leave decisively despite getting the short end of the stick, one cannot help but be careful of such characters.

Yang Chen and Tang Xun’er having exited the hall, made their way further into the inner regions of the ancient sect.
At the sa mont, in one of the halls the two have already passed through, a couple of practitioners arrived.
"Woah, look at that giant statue, it seems so lifelike!!" The group marvelled.
Having arrived at this place, the first thing that caught their eyes was the giant statue with a domineering appearance.
"Hey, look at its forehead. That jewel, it must be so kind of treasure"...
"You are right, let’s get our hands on that jewel and proceed forward. We have already fallen behind others".
The group of practitioners unbeknownst to what their actions entailed, forcibly took the jewel out of the forehead of the statue. At the sa ti, sothing being suppressed under the palm of that statue stirred.
GROWL~... a growl like that of a feral beast, emitted and two red dots shone in the darkness.
"What was that?"...
"I don’t know, but it’s giving the creeps. Let’s get out of here" Saying that, the group of practitioners left the hall.
After a while, in the now empty hall, cracking noise echoed around the place. A large eye catching crack could be seen dividing the once impressive statue into two.
Two red dots shone and from the depths of the cracks, rose a figure. It had two large horns, steel like body and bone like armor.

"Where is this place?"
Yang Chen muttered to himself as he observed his surroundings. As far as his eyes could see, lava covered his surroundings. The air was searing hot, making it even difficult to breathe.
Currently, he was standing on the edge of this place with a few other practitioners, similarly bewildered about their surroundings. Tang Xun’er was nowhere to be seen.
Looks like they go separated. It cannot be helped after all, just a few monts ago they were manoeuvring through the complex passageways of the inner regions of the ancient sect when they arrived in a chamber whereupon they triggered sothing and were all sent sowhere randomly.
"Hoh, would you look at this?! This is the Sky Devouring Fla Formation. It’s not sothing you see every day" Amon remarked, observing the lava pool gleefully.
"Sky Devouring Fla Formation?" Yang Chen questioned. He has seen a few formations on his way here. However, this Sky Devouring Fla Formation was different.
"Of course it is, it’s not just any ordinary formation but a high grade one. Even the sects in the ancient tis could not use this wily nily. The power of such a formation, you cannot even imagine it. Do not let those flas down there touch you or else even with your Extre Evil Nihility Body, you will suffer devastating consequences".
Amon’s voice sounded unusually grave as such, Yang Chen did not dare to underestimate the formation. He asked, "How do I get out of here?"...
"The high grade formation like the Sky Devouring Fla Formation, are used to trap and kill enemies. It is nigh impossible for you to get out of this formation at your level. However, that is counting on the factor that the formation is in its peak condition"...
"In its current state, there is bound to be so kind of loophole for you to use to get out of here. However, do you really want to get out of the formation?"...

Amon explained "The fact that the ancient sect went through the trouble to set up a Sky devouring Fla Formation here an that they are guarding sothing. Sothing that even a sect from the ancient tis deems precious. Do you really want to let go of this opportunity?"...
"Heh, a treasure you say?" Yang Chen grinned, his smile similar to the demon next to him.
"An opportunity that freely fell on my lap. There is no way I will let it go". It was ti that he got sothing good from his trip to the ancient sect.
The Ethereal grade spear, the Extre Energy Essence were good stuff. However, compared to the inheritance of the ancient sect, it hardly ant anything.
"Head towards the centre of this formation. Usually, when sothing is guarded, it is kept in the most secure place. What can be more secure than the eye of the formation" Amon instructed.
