All colours of light flashed as the practitioners used their battle skills to attack the duo in the front.

What’s more, the latter had yet to reach the peak completion stage on the Bone Crushing Fist; as such, when it ca to pure collision of power, both skills ca out equal.
As could be seen by the fact that none of the attacks managed to gain an upper hand in that turn. Sothing that deeply shocked Lan Feng.

While this happened, Yang Chen on the other hand used the force to propel himself inside the gate before it completely closed.
And thus with a thud, the gate to the tower completely closed barring entry for everyone other than two people.
When the crowd saw that, they were imdiately disheartened. The two people who went in were their only key to opening the tower. Now that they had gone inside, they had lost their only key.
No, it was wrong to say that they had lost their only key. The young man who ca from the Xuan sect possessed an item that could also break the array.
However, judging from the looks of things, it was a dud. The inscription on the gate although glowed for a while due to the item on Lan feng’s hand, that was all there was to it. The gate did not open again.
