As his mastery over the soul skill [Soul’s Tiless Archive] increased, he was able to extract the information more smoothly. Nevertheless, due to the nature of the soul skill, the target on whom the skill was used on, would regardless of the mastery would be turned into a vegetative state later.
As Yang Chen searched through the person’s mories and extracted the information he needed, his facial expression contorted. Soon it turned solemn and dark as more ti passed by.
The reason for the change in his expression was not due to the ntal strain that he had to suffer in exchange for using the skill but due to the information he extracted from this person.

The reward offered for any sighting of any suspicious person, information or any person involved was extrely generous.

Yang Chen finally understood the reason behind the commotion that was going inside the city. However, finding the reason didn’t make him happy. On the contrary, his face turned extrely dark and solemn.
Why would it not after all, his premonition turned out to be true. The reason why the city was going crazy, the person those people were searching for, was none other than him. It turned out that the person he hit back in that establishnt this morning, was the fourth son of the clan leader of the Yan clan.
"At least, the silver lining is that they do not know your face yet. However, I suggest you that you get out of the city before they find you" Amon suggested.
Yang Chen was of the sa mind, he did not even need Amon to tell him to get the hell out of here as he was already on his way towards the gate.
Though unfortunately, when he reached the place, he was made aware of another bad news. All the gates had been closed down on the orders of the Yan clan and their guards were stationed in every corner of the wall and the exit.
No one whether inside or outside, was allowed to pass through. It was an extrely tight security showing the might of the Yan clan.
"What kind of clan is this yan clan to be able to place Battle Master class practitioners as re sentries?" Yang Chen wondered if he could beat such a clan if push cos to a shove.
"Discard such ideas out of your head. Although I don’t know how powerful this Yan clan is, but based on the size of the city and the many battle grandmasters and battle overlords present here, they should be a powerful clan incomparable to the likes of the Zhang clan to be able to govern a city like this".
If fighting was a no go, then his only option was to run away. The Yan clan wasn’t an opponent he could ss with at this point in ti.
"Find a place to wait out till nightfall. When the ti cos, exploit the mont when their security is lax to sneak out. Don’t do anything that will make you stand out, I repeat don’t do anything that will get you caught. If you are caught by one of their elders, it is ga over for you"
Amon cautioned. It was one of those rare tis when the demon didn’t actually take pleasure in his plight and helped him get out of it instead.
This on the contrary, also showed how grave his situation was.

"Don’t you feel like sothing is amiss? The other parts of the wall at least had battle master level guards. Whereas, the ones stationed here are mostly young Battle Apprentices and a few battle masters could be seen on sight".
Now that Amon ntioned it, it was indeed weird. However, wasn’t this the lax in security they were looking for?
"Isn’t it good? This works out in our favour. Thanks to their half assed security, I can get out"...
"It’s not that, this... this almost feels too easy as if soone had deliberately... No!! Brat, quickly activate your [Boundless Nature Eyes] and search for any presence that might be in hiding"
Amon’s voice sounded urgent. Almost panicking.
"What do you an? Aren’t you overthinki..." Although he complained, Yang Chen nevertheless activated the skill and his words got stuck in his mouth at that very mont.
