Chapter 692: Maraudon

"Players can’t be changed into Satyrs, but it’s said that there are props that can turn the players into a Satyr for a short ti," Lu Li said, acting the role of a professor.

He didn’t like showing off his knowledge for no reason, but he didn’t want to pretend to be ignorant either.

Vyletongue was the son of Havves and he had inherited a wide range of skills from his ancestors. He had a strong, almost Undead body, which made his Defense stronger than the previous Bosses.

If the vines were around, he could command them to bind the players and prevent them from attacking. He could also sap the HP of the vines to heal himself. That was his Ultimate skill, but now that the vines were gone, Water Fairy and the others weren’t able to witness it.

The Boss eventually dropped a piece of Gold Paladin equipnt, which Lu Li took away.

The rare materials were given to Water Fairy. As long as it wasn’t an item that soone needed, Lu Li and Water Fairy would take turns in who would get them. Lu Li could take a bit more if he wanted to because there were three players from his guild. Later on, they would divide their spoils up among themselves.

Vyletongue also dropped the Celebras Gem; they had now collected the two parts of the Scepter of Celebras.

Celebras’ ghostly appearance materialized in front of Lu Li. His image was more mysterious than before and he appeared to have been completely freed from his curse. Based on the green embers, Lu Li guessed that he had seen Remulos.

Perhaps the experience of being trapped in Maraudon really did have a key role in his growth.

"You have used dishonorable ans in this battle," Celebras said while looking at the traces of the explosion left on the walls.

"I don’t think any compassion is required when dealing with the Burning Legion’s ssenger," Lu Li replied appropriately.

For whatever reason, Celebras was making things difficult for Lu Li. Unfortunately, Lu Li’s answer made him speechless. He couldn’t say that the Burning Legion had rights too. Otherwise, he really would still be corrupted.

His great-grandfather, Malourne, was killed by the Burning Legion, along with his grandfather, Cenarius. Although he was later revived, the seeds of hatred were implanted deep within him.

Otherwise, why would Remulos tell them to kill a Burning Legion Boss?

As a mber of the family, Celebras resented the Burning Legion as well. As a result, he stopped talking about Lu Li’s disgraceful fighting thods and was instead thankful.

"These are the two parts of the Scepter. Is anything else needed?" Lu Li asked.

"Nothing else is needed. I will combine them for you now," Celebras said. An erald glow appeared around the two parts of the scepter as they slowly combined together.

The new Scepter of Celebras appeared in his hands.

"Thank you, esteed Keeper of the Grove," Lu Li said gratefully as he took the scepter.

This quest actually had other extensions to it, like finding so kind of elixir or ore. These were all very troubleso and didn’t yield any benefits, but now that the scepter had been complete, there was nothing else to do.

The Scepter of Celebras was an item that had simple properties and one effect.

Cast: Creates a portal to send teammates to the Earth Song Falls in Maraudon. 1/1 Uses remaining.

In other words, this was a one-use item. Otherwise, when you ca here in future you could just go straight to the Princess. When players received this Scepter, they were often a little disappointed about this. Who wouldn’t want to go see a beautiful princess?

As for seeing the princess... That was sothing to be discussed at a later ti.

"There’s another Boss outside; do you want to fight it?" Lu Li asked.

"Why not? It’s a Boss and we’re on Nightmare Difficulty. Seeing as it’s the First Clear, we have a good chance of getting Gold equipnt," Deep Watersong said casually.

The others nodded in agreent.

Level 40 Gold equipnt was still quite high-end. There was no one in the room that could say that they didn’t want sothing like that. Even if they couldn’t use it, they could take it back to their guild.

Lu Li naturally agreed too.

In fact, even if these players didn’t want to fight, he would still encourage them to fight Razorlash.

Razorlash was a Botany Boss and wasn’t that smart, which made it very easy to defeat, but because of this, its drops were quite lackluster. However, there was a plant that grew near it called the Ghost Mushroom.

The Ghost Mushroom was a fungus that could be collected to make Moonlight Herbal Potion. This was what Lu Li needed to complete the Curse of the Worgen quest.

The Ghost Mushroom was also a very good neutral agent which could be used to enhance a variety of advanced potions. Not only did it neutralize poisons in so chemical elents, but it also provided at least a 30% increase in potency.

This herb didn’t refresh very often, and Maraudon was one of the few places to find them.

Razorlash fell quickly and Lu Li rushed Water Fairy to loot the body while he knelt down and took several of the Ghost Mushrooms.

The others didn’t say anything as Lu Li had been collecting herbs the whole ti. Water Fairy mainly studied Skinning, so she couldn’t let an opportunity to practice it pass.

He managed to acquire six Ghost Mushrooms, which was a good number given their Nightmare Difficulty. Lu Li was very satisfied.

As for the dropped equipnt, it was lackluster as expected. Even the Gold equipnt was rubbish, with three rather unappealing effects.

If you couldn’t complete the Scepter of Celebras quest, then the Instance Dungeon would end here.

Fortunately, they had finished the quest and were able to continue. Lu Li took out the Scepter and activated its effect. A purple portal appeared in front of them, and as they cross the portal, it vanished. The scepter didn’t follow them and dropped out of Lu Li’s hands as they went through.

Lu Li could vaguely make out Celebras appearing again and catching his Scepter.

There was no way that the Scepter could be an item with such a simple effect, but unfortunately, Lu Li had no way of asking. Perhaps he could ntion it the next ti he t Remulos.

Everything that they had done so far was generally considered to be outside Maraudon. Now, they were finally inside Maraudon.

It was only in Maraudon that the players would be able to the see the beautiful Earth Elent Princess. However, Landscape of Maraudon was even more beautiful – it was the most awe-inspiring scenery that could exist in an underground world, which fully embodied the control of life by the earth elents.
