Sara, keeping her usual calm expression and not paying much attention to the reactions around her, introduced Grace along with three other classmates.
One by one, Lisa, Emily, and Jessica stepped forward, offering polite smiles as they shook hands with Alex as they exchanged small greetings.
As the short introductions settled into a gentle rhythm of small talk—comnts about school, the weather, and a few lighthearted jokes—Alex took the opportunity to ease the atmosphere. Flashing a small, polite smile, he suggested,
"How about we head to that café nearby? I’ve heard it’s really good, and I thought it’d be nice for all of us to catch up there."
The group agreed, and they walked towards the café, while exchanging a few words in between them. Soon, they reached a one story ordinary looking building with a cafe board outside it.
The group stepped into the café, a welcoming space adorned with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the air. It was mostly empty with a few tables occupied by students from their school.
They eyed thier group as soon as they entered, especially due to the presence of Sara and Grace before they minimised thier presence with only a few murmurs her around.
They found a vacant table, the subtle hum of conversations providing a backdrop to the cozy setting. As soon as they say down, a friendly waiter approached them with a notebook in his hand, ready to take their orders.
Alex, with a smile, said, "I’ll go with coffee, and let’s try your best-selling cakes for all of us." The waiter showed face a proud face, as he replied, "Our ’Velvet Delight’ is a crowd favorite. Everyone who have visited us has tried it at least once, it never disappoints."
"Sounds perfect," Alex said before he look at everyone and says, "Feel free to order anything else. It’s my treat today." Saying so, he signalled the waiter to take thier order.
Since Alex has already ordered the cake for everyone, the other girls opted for various drinks. Cappuccinos were a popular choice among them.
The beta song left after taking thier orders, as he told them to wait for about 10 minutes before the order arrives.
As they waited for their orders, Grace finally couldn’t contain her curiosity and blurted out, "By the way, we never got to properly introduce ourselves. What’s your na?"
Alex chuckled, realizing he hadn’t formally introduced himself. "I’m sorry for that. I am Alex, Alex BloodRose."
Grace’s, even though already expected it still couldn’t contain her suprise as she she exclaid, "BloodRose? You’re a noble?" The other three girls joined in with gasps of surprise.
Alex nodded, taking the attention in stride. "Yes, that’s correct."
Grace, still a bit awestruck, continued, "Wow, you must be really rich and stuff!"
The three girls echoed her sentints, expressing admiration for Alex’s noble status. Sara, however, interjected with a touch of nonchalance, "BloodRose family is just an Earl rank. It’s not as grand as you might think."
Alex grinned, appreciating Sara’s straightforwardness. "Indeed, we’re moderately well-off, but compared to so other noble houses, we’re not on the sa level of opulence."
Even though he said it, the girls still thought that it was but his humbleness. Seeing this, Sara just sighs to himself, ’if only they know what this guy is really like...’ she thought.
"I am big fan of Madam Isabella." Said a girl, whose na was Jessica. "She is my mother..." Alex said with a smile. Hearing this, the girls started asking even more questions, mainly about Isabella.
