The Sky City was quiet, just like every day over ten thousand years — it was thoroughly quiet.
A ashing shadow suddenly stopped, not far from the last temple.
It was a beautiful palace, larger than other palaces in the Sky City, only one size smaller than the palace of
the Lord God; even so, it was still very striking.
Shen Yanxiao leaned against Xiu’s arms and looked at the huge palace before them.
“This is your place...”
“En.” Xiu nodded slightly and walked to the entrance of the palace.
The closed gate, seeming to sense the return of its owner, slowly opened.
A strand of brilliant light sprinkled on the entrance. On the other side of the gate was not the palace in
Shen Yanxiao’s image, but a tract of land covered with grass and owers.
“This is... your ho?” Shen Yanxiao blinked her eyes. Even if you beat her to death, she would never have

She nally understood why Xiu disdained Vermillion Bird’s lava valley so much. Compared with this place,
the lava valley was really small and pitiful, and simply lacking in vegetation!
The fragrance of owers pervaded the surroundings. At this mont, Shen Yanxiao’s tense nerves nally
relaxed.
A gust of wind blew and the boundless sea of owers swayed like water. White owers danced with the
wind and the scattered petals uttered in the air, falling to the ground in pieces as though the sky were
raining owers.
Shen Yanxiao was simply dazzled by the sight.
Countless petals encircled her and Xiu’s body. This place was beautiful and peaceful beyond words,
without any disturbances. If possible, Shen Yanxiao really hoped to stay here forever, to no longer have to
worry about the invasion of the devils, and never have to ght a bloody battle.
Xiu picked up Shen Yanxiao and ew through the ower rain. Pieces of white petals grazed their cheeks
and bodies. This ti, Xiu ew slowly. He seed to want Shen Yanxiao to enjoy the beautiful scenery
better, so he slowed down.
When they nally arrived at the palace, a large number of petals had piled up in Shen Yanxiao’s arms. She
smiled like a little child, took up the pile of petals, and threw them down toward Xiu’s head.
A peerless and handso face, adorned with the snow-white petals; the scene was as beautiful as a
painting.
Shen Yanxiao smiled foolishly and seed to nd what she was doing very interesting.
anwhile, Xiu just let her behave in such a way, without displaying the slightest displeasure.
All over the world, Shen Yanxiao was probably the only one who dared to sprinkle petals on the War God’s

When Shen Yanxiao was done playing, Xiu put her down. Both of them were covered with petals, which
looked a little funny.

Xiu brushed o the fallen owers on his shoulder and said calmly, “I neither like nor hate them. These
owers were made by the Lord.”
