Chapter 496: Chapter 496 – Casual Result
Percival’s body inexplicably gave off a weak hum. He released the grip on his sword and looked down in defeat.
It was an excruciating feeling not to be able to avenge your own son. But he had no choice, he had duties, family and sons to look after as well.
Seeing the situation beco calm, the Silverish Black knights relaxed as well. The one in the lead gave a respectful nod to Marika, “Thank you for your help, Madam Dragonoir.”
“Without you, there could have been an unaccountable number of causalities today.”
Percival groaned at that.
‘Causalities… My son is already dead, what does it matter what happens to others?’
Marika said nothing and glanced at . She gave one of those multi aning blink and took off with her brother.
“And you!” The leading knight called , “Don’t do that ever again.”
Was he talking about killing Peter or trying to help them?
I couldn’t tell as they also left, their business finished.
Those people that just helped stop a massacre weren’t just any security team, they were an important party.
The Gancelot Knights
A group of specialized knights working directly under the queen and doing her bidding. And when I an bidding, no, I don’t an the killing stuff. These were the guys she sent when things go bad and it needs physical handling to get them back in order.
In a way, they were a peacekeeping organization, that used force rather than talks.
Many people want to beco Gancelot knights. They were like an idol group to them.
‘The fun ended too soon. I wanted to see a bit more bloodshed.’ I shook my head with a sigh, wondering what could have been if Marika had used her true powers.
‘But why doesn’t she show such strength back in bed?’
“Cough” “Cough”
I hear the judge cough as he gained attention, “Though what happened here today is marked to be an honorable challenge, it is still a tragedy.”
“Which is why the church of the Holy Goddess will hold a requiem for the soul of Peter Dragonoir.” The Judge had a solemn look, “To give his soul both rest and the lady’s guidance to eternal light.”
“We hope many of you will join in later.” The Judge’s solemn expression vanished as he turned serious.
“Now on to the matter regarding Henry Van Tax.” The Judge coughed, “Again, though it was a tragedy, a Trial fighter’s life is held by his opponent. Which makes the late Lord Peter Dragonoir’s death, a legal one.”
“And that concludes this Trial and absolves Henry Van Tax of his cris. It also relinquishes his noble title and makes him a common man again.”
The Judge turned to .
“Do you understand, Henry Van Tax?”
“I do”
The Judge gave a heavy nod, “Make sure to take this trial as a lesson and not do anything drastic again.”
“You may leave.”
I look a bit confused as everyone automatically starts leaving. That was it?
“Um… do I leave from the sa way I ca in or…?”
“Yes, the sa way.”
“And I do get to keep my land, right? I don’t lose those or anything except the Viscount title?”
“Yes, you don’t.” The Judge said before he flew away too quickly.
The guy didn’t seem to be in a hurry but he still left.
Sohow feeling a bit anticlimactic about this, I turn around and walk inside the dark halls of the stage with a confused expression.
The lights in the hall guiding ahead.
‘Hm?’
It was a bit later when I see the bizarre.
There were no guards.
The place was empty besides … or at least that’s what others would think.
Through the wall, I could see a curvy figure standing at the corner where I’m supposed to turn.
Acting innocent, I walk ahead until I was about to turn around. That’s when the figure moved.
I let her grab and pin to the wall as I gave her a smile, “Hey there, Marik-”
“Slap!”
“Whoa, there was quite the emotio-”
“Slap!”
She slapped in both cheeks as I go silent.
Marika’s head was looking down at the ground while she kept pinned with one hand.
Her current strength was abnormally great as I couldn’t move.
“You!” She said with gritted teeth while bringing out a paper with trembling hand.
My eyes shine at that, “So you found my lette-”
“Bang!”
She punched the wall right next to my face, the letter inside. Her hand easily breaking through the wall as I feel sweat co to .
Marika finally gazed up, her eyes brimming with untold anger and embarrassnt, “Who the hell writes such degrading things in a letter!”
“But… what I wrote were true.” I honestly say with a tilt; I didn’t understand her anger.
“Really” She challenged , a serious glint, “Then tell , what you’d miss about again?”
“I miss your lustful lips that bit my shoulder as I moved, I miss your squishy boobs that I ever more wished with give milk literally, I wish your long white thighs that would sit on m-” My hands which completely unknown to , touching her thigh was slapped away.
“Shut up!” Marika covered my mouth with both hands, pushing my head into the wall. Her face blistering red and eyes filled with innocent trembling. It seems she’s embarrassed.
“Do you know how much trouble it was to make Bianca realize this letter was a joke?” Marika’s eyes though serious, still trembled, “Of all the people you could give the letter to, you gave to that drunkard?”
“What could I do, you were avoiding .” I tell through the gaps of her fingers, “And everything written in the letter was true, you loved it as wel-”
“Shut up, shut up, shut up!” Her face turned red in both sha and anger, “Why did I have to get involved with soone as perverted as you.”
“…I could say the sa.”
“…”
“I’m sorry.” I clasp my hands and beg. Even though her grip looked harmless, it would probably pulverize .
Marika thought between letting Henry live and killing him here to erase all trace. Her grip wavered through the heavy decision as she finally sighed and relaxed her hand.
I sigh at that and lightly touch her curvy thigh, “So… how have you been?”
“…”
“Hey, we should be past the silent treatnt with how much you moane-”
“Why did you kill Peter?”
Her gaze was serious.
“Because you told too.” I rember the mont at the stage, when I gazed at her and she mouthed ‘Do it’.
“…”
“…”
“You are very rash.” Marika sighed with resignation, “What if I didn’t stop my brother, he would have killed you!”
“He would have to beat first.”
Marika was about to scold but I grab her and pull. Getting a good kiss in her.
“Mmph!” Her eyes widen in shock as she struggled, but not truly.
I kissed her a bit as she tried to get out, “En- Enough! Stop it-”
I pull her back in, “A bit more. I need you, Marika.”
Feeling his desperate pull, her own body let go as she kissed back too.
And ti went by as we both kissed. Our tongues sucked in each other as our hands grasped the other person passionately. We finally stopped in a wet ss and ended with heavy breaths.
“You… took… too long.”
“You were… kissing… too.” I say as she blushed slightly before throwing back lightly, in reality it pushed back heavily, hitting my head at the wall.
“Leave here and hide.” She said seriously, “My brother would no doubt try to kill you.”
“When the situation lightens, I’ll find you.”
