“Mind if I co in?” I say to Arthur and the others as they nod in approval. But the real thing was that, I was already in and sitting on sothing by the ti they agreed.

Arthur knew that Samantha had feelings for Henry. It was too evident not to notice and he hoped that his friend/rival would accept his other friends heart.

I smile, “It’s certainly a good one. You see, I’m about to be engaged… and it’s none other than Samantha’s older sister here, Margaret.”

Arthur quietly looked at Samantha who hid her face further inside and felt pity. Elisabeth had a lost childlike look on her as she wondered whether she was dreaming or is this a nightmare?
Finally, there was Winona, who was shocked too but had to keep up with her eating act. But even she was feeling quite the downer inside, the food actually helped her.

Elisabeth got out of her reverie and clapped hands, but you couldn’t tell what she was thinking with that dark look on her.
Then there was Samantha who quietly looked down and everyone quietly looked at her but none said anything.
After an awkward silence later, I talk, “Well, now that you know the news, you know the reason why I can’t co with you. Believe I want to, but the timing isn’t just right.”
“It’s alright Henry, you’ve already helped us escape and done a lot for us. We can’t ask for more.” Arthur said, the guy was the only one pulling the whole team along.
