Was Rosso a bit crazy, well truth be told, he was once Jester’s fate was involved.

Being his creation, all he has in his mind are imprinted mories—no personal experience, no heart-to-heart.

It’s like rembering the father through the stories you read in books and when you finally get the chance to et him, he is going to be killed by soone your father considered a friend.

It took over Rosso’s rationality, took over his mind, and made him do stupid things. Such was the life of Jester’s creation.

This is why when the Cat dared to cause him problems, Rosso easily annihilated it, not thinking too much of it. But Farhad, the scene that appeared on the front made him go crazy.

"Fool." The previous mbers of Jester’s cult might be crazy, but they were reasonable as well. They were able to manage their insanity with their sanity and beco soone to be admired. But this,’ I can’t.’ Farhad was left speechless, the most he could do was look at the Cat’s corpse, or at least what remained of it after being obliterated by Rosso’s attack.

"You are lucky to be chosen by Sir Catto." He recalled the words of the First Knight, and then he looked at the cat that was showing him the path towards leaving this place. "You pity the death of a cat from the scenario? Even if it’s a bizarre one?" Rosso asked, looking at the defeated expression of Farhad.

"Sir Catto was showing to Malidi, and you killed him... He was the only way, and you did this to him." There was no desire for war in Farhad’s heart anymore, nor the desire to target Jester’s spirit that had already run far away after noticing the surrounding oddities. Probably scared off.

Not like killing it and walking further would solve a thing, considering that he didn’t know what to do soon after that. Where to go and what path to walk.

This fate, this whole scenario was ssed up now. Instead of a direct path, he now has to depend on luck.

"Doing these scenarios is not the only way..."Rosso, seeing the lack of fight in Farhad spoke, explaining his own experience. "There are other ways, just like I did... that cat, it just wanted to influence you, making you walk the path of defiance towards your friend... how can you fall for such a trick, can’t you see?" Rosso spoke like a zealot, appearing as if he was disappointed that the man he had heard so much about in his data bank was fooled so easily by soone. That can’t be, he can’t allow this to happen.

But Farhad, after hearing this man’s words, the little intent to fight him was also gone. ’He is crazy.’ The reasoning was out of the question, this man was completely blinded by his emotions. ’He is like a broken record.’

"No, you... keep that mouse if you want, but leave alone." There was no attempt to believe in Farhad’s side. He didn’t care anymore, instead, he walked toward the remains of the dead cat and bowed to him. "I apologize for my oversight, I never expected things to escalate to such levels." It was a simple apology, that showed his true heartfelt feelings, while Rosso started to feel the existence of certain rules on his body again, not that he was not hiding using the curse of Isolation.

He felt sothing grab at his throat again. And then, there was nothing.

’??" He wondered, in confusion and then looked at Farhad with so disappointnt. "Seems like I am even free from the rules of this place, it would be much easier for to act now," Rosso spoke with confidence, before asking Farhad. "That cat is dead, so follow , I can show you the way out, unlike the gas that cat played with us." There is no need to wonder if the Cat has intelligence or not.

Nor the fact that the cat had the capability of showing them a way to their goal.

The mont that cat tried to trick Farhad and harm Jester, he considered it evil.

"You go, do what you want," Farhad spoke, not intending to speak anymore.

It felt so wrong to just ss up the one job that was given to him. He couldn’t even protect a single cat from death. ’Truly a disappointnt, I am.’ he thought.

And Rosso, after seeing such a defeated expression on Farhad, couldn’t help but curse. "You were so great in my Creator’s story," Rosso spoke before disappearing from Farhad’s gaze again.

Which did make Farhad finally put his guard down.

Of course that was it. "I... I will do as you asked, I will still kill that one." Farhad spoke, getting from the corpse of Sir Catto, getting ready to track the boy’s spirit down no matter what.

And it was also at this ti when out of nowhere, Farhad heard a simple "ow". Which startled, him, from the sound, he could assess how close the source was, which just happened to be next to him. "What?" And when looking down, there he was. The cat that should have died appeared out of nowhere.

"Sir Catto, you are fine?" Farhad asked, not knowing if it was an illusion or reality. Though as if you let Farhad get rid of his suspicions the cat jumped and grabbed Farhad’s leg and then climbed to his shoulder again.

"You." In front of him, the remains of Sir Catto hadn’t disappeared. It still remained with all the blood-covered fur and organs splattered on the ground, then what about this one? "Was it a substitution, or did you regenerate like I can?" He asked, but the cat just shook its head and then said from its paws. "Move, Kill, move forward more." its intentions were clear, it still wanted Farhad to kill the spirit of the boy.

And Farhad, knowing that Sir Catto didn’t hold any desire to explain what just happened, progressed toward the direction that was shown to him.

Farhad had already apologized for his mistakes before, following which, seeing that Sir Catto didn’t seem that bothered and gladly accepted his apology, Farhad asked the question that had been eating away at his mind for a bit.

"Sir, the madman from before, he said there is another way," Farhad explains the claim of Rosso. "He is moving at a faster rate using this thod, you should be aware of it, why don’t we use it?"

The words of Rosso remained in his head, and if his claims are true, why not walk the path.

But the Cat shook its head and wrote with its paws, "You cheat, you will be cheated. The ticket will break down following the countdown, " it said, before pausing and then continuing. "I cheated, too."

*****

What the Cat spoke was true, Rosso in his ignorance kept moving forward, unaware that the flower that speared his neck was slowly losing its petals one by one. And it won’t be long before he is stuck here forever. Though, why should he care? As long as he can save his Master, everything will be fine.

Those were his thoughts as he tried to step into the door again, but it was at this ti, even while hiding in his curse of Isolation, a small voice sounded in his ears. "I feel a sense of kinship." Said the voice, startling Rosso who knew this language, a language he had heard countless tis in a previous life.

It was also a language that seed to be born from one of Jester’s favorite languages. ’Hindi?’ It wondered, looking towards his side and finding that the little spirit from before had appeared next to him at so point.

"You can see ?" Rosso asked, getting no response on his end. What he did notice was a phantom hand, that endured the purifying lights of the sun and grabbed towards the rat that was on Rosso’s hand. ’This?’

’What is going on?’ At Rosso wondered, an explosion occurred with the boy’s spirit at the center, which completely stagnated Rosso’s blood as well as a curse, pushing him out of hiding and to the real world, as he reeled in pain from the sudden backlash. "What." He asked, looking toward the spirit that should be weak, feeble, and incapable of doing anything.

But how?

Rosso wanted to ask, but he just couldn’t as the pain and corruption was too much for his body to handle. ’Just what is this?’ he questioned as his eye of lancholy refused to work, instead, all he felt was rejection. As if sothing had scared both of his eyes.

"What is going on?" He looked and saw as the spirit’s arm which was close to obliteration slowly touched the body of the Rat.

And then.

*Bewm.

It was the sound that occurred, as the Rat’s spirit was revitalized and the boy’s spirit completely disappeared from the world.

"A from future? No, A fake from past just sacrificed itself for my recovery, though I lack crucial information, so much is missing from this mind, it’s too weak." Spoke the rat in its head which then turned to look toward the fallen Rosso. "Friend from the future, or present? It’s so confusing."
