This place and ti felt oddly familiar to Farhad. Though he had never been to a battlefield like this, Farhad knew that this familiarity was not due to him but sothing else, sothing that was added to his mind in an attempt to broaden his knowledge.

’It’s Jester’s mories.’ The scenes in his head recall a Knight that ca in to purify the very land below him, all in an attempt to purify the wraiths that might be born through all this misery accumulated in the sa space.

The result? A painful scream as the spirit soon ca to understand the world was not what it seed, followed by the thrill of sothing new in his eyes.

’And I am that Knight.’ This cat on his shoulder, how did it know? How can it know the ti when Jester appeared here? ’It’s too intelligent... how long has it lived?’ For a cat to exist since the ti of First Knight sounded absurd, more so a Cat that couldn’t speak. But its knowledge reserves and understanding of the matters might exceed what Farhad thinks.

"The spirit that hides, show yourself. I won’t harm you." Spoke Farhad, looking at the wraith that seed to have hidden among the corpses due to the pain it endured due to the sun.

But this is Jester we are talking about, not the present one, but the old one who was still sowhat ignorant of the ways of the world. So without showing any mischievousness, it tried to crawl out again, only to face burn from the sun.

"The sun purifies all, hide under the earth, go to the canopy in the distance, you can find so relief." The language that got out of Farhad’s mouth was unlike any he had ever spoken before, but instinctively, he knew it. It’s the sa as the case with Sanskrit, the dead language from the mortal world. Due to Jester, he knew all he needed to live in the world.

And it seed to have worked. From the movents, it did seem this spirit was a bit curious about Farhad, but it listened to him and rushed to the canopy and then to the tree. What went on in the mind of this spirit, Farhad didn’t know at this ti, he just wondered. "Explain to , the way to exit this place." There was no need for further interaction with Jester.

The situation with the First Knight won’t be repeated. Jester even as a Totem is too weak to ever achieve a feat like the First Knight did, so letting this rat in his hand touch Jester also won’t help.

The most it will do is waste ti. ’I hold no curiosity of him.’ Farhad thought, looking into the distance. ’Not when I have the real thing in my hand.’ The rat also looked toward the tree, although its mory of its past existed no more, it could still keep looking into the distance, towards the familiar figure that reminded him of himself. Or at least felt familiar.

As for the cat, after fearing Farhad’s question, it pointed toward the canopy this ti. Which made Farhad’s eyes turn a bit dark. "Killing him is the answer?" He wondered.

Well, whatever the reason, he will do what he has to do, and killing a fake Jester might be able to help him get over the fact of his father’s death. So after so contemplation, he walked toward the trees as well.

"Sir, What about the Purification of the dead?" On this battlefield, he was not alone. So soldiers guarded Farhad, and so others slept in the trenches. These n were part of his entourage, and they made sure this Knight of Radiance did his job properly.

Which Farhad, after listening to the prompt did. There was no need to hold onto it anymore. So Farhad took the torch from one of these soldiers, lit it with fire, and then threw it onto the bodies, causing a small explosion as the fire spread all over it.

"This..." The soldier wondered, finding this a bit too crude. Where are the white flas of Radiance? They pondered. They had seen this Knight work his magic before, and all those tis, he lit up his Knives on white flas before throwing them into the bodies. Which made the flas born out of it also white.

"I am just trying sothing different." Farhad continued. The Samadhi flas did possess the power of purification, but they could not harm the physical body, unlike the fla of Radiance which did both on its own.

As for Farhad’s red fla, its nature was too bizarre for one to even understand. It didn’t burn the flesh, it lted it, making it more susceptible to his absorption. One can even call it the flas of digestion if they were humorous enough. Which Farhad was not. So all he did was call it Red Flas.

So what to do in such a bizarre situation? Well, use the normal flas to burn the body and then add the pure flas of Samadhi over it. Farhad did, letting the flas of Samadhi take over the real fla, creating a potent fla that scared even the soldiers away.

’Well, I did it, I manually created the very fla my father once used.’ With those words, Farhad looked to these n and said. "Now don’t disturb , nor co close to , there is danger in that direction, and I hope you don’t fall to it."

The Jester of the old days, can’t be as slippery as he was in the present tis. It still remained as one whole body, without any backups or clones, not to ntion, he must have only learned about the dream thods from those books, he wouldn’t be able to use them, not at this mont at least.

So Farhad went, warning the Knights and sending them back to their camp. His reasoning? It’s actually simple.

As Farhad walked, a small tail grew out of his spine, which slowly grew out an eye and a thin stinger at its end. It was a mutation that Farhad originally didn’t understand the value of. But with the opportunities to experint he got on the battlefield against opponents that had tried all kinds of ans to deal with him. Farhad knew its true value soon enough.

"I am sorry," Farhad spoke, ready to stab this into the tree where the curious spirit of the boy hid. But before he could, a hand ca and grabbed it before he could cause any harm.

"How dare you..." The figure spoke as his other hand dashed toward Farhad’s chest. But by that point, Farhad had backed off, causing the small cat to run away from his shoulder.

"You... There was nothing like you in the mory." Farhad spoke before finding that the two floating arms suddenly had a small bony orb in it. "My Creator, how feeble have you beco." It spoke, before turning to look at the tree, though not speaking much to it.

"You... you are one of his?" Farhad wondered, finding it a bit absurd that he had been followed into a space like this, and not just by anyone, but it would seem to be a pawn of Jester. Should one call it a small world?

No, this can’t be a coincidence, there is a high chance that he had been followed by this person for so ti now. And sohow once he saw that Farhad was going to kill the boy’s spirit in the tree, it ca forward to stop it.

"I am his greatest," Rosso spoke, as blood leaked out of his body, turning into a halo. "And you, being his friend, how dare you harm his past self." Rosso’s eyes can see into the essence of all things, it wasn’t hard for him to find so similarities to the figure imprinted in his mind and then this feeble soul of a boy.

Everything has a beginning and there is a high chance, that start is not always a good one. ’This being will beco my creator in the future, he spoke.’ before turning to Farhad, the face might have changed a lot from his mories, but the essence that is contained in this old friend of his creator can’t be ignored.

He knows who this is, as for why he is here. Rosso can’t say. But what it can say is that it would be unwise to trust the words of Farhad at the mont.

’That cat he carried.’ He had seen this cat, no specifically it ca to him before but Rosso had ignored it for it was part of the scenario. But then, he saw this cat multiple tis, though it was more like the cat was looking at him for so reason, and when its curiosity had been fulfilled, it never returned again.

Well, that was until now.

’He is part of this world.’

"You are his greatest?... Are you a child?" Farhad at that announcent found the situation a bit absurd, but then he recalled the zealot energy most of Jester’s followers have, making him further understand what kind of creature he was dealing with.

"That being behind you, it’s not the real one and if we want to move a step further, we have to end it.’ The language they spoke in, was far different than the one the spirit understood at the mont, but from the emotions and actions alone, it understood that its life was in danger. So it moved before Rosso could reply.

Which was also the ti that Farhad moved his hand. Jester was one annoying bastard, letting him go would be tantamount to losing him, not to ntion, unlike Rosso, he lacked any way to identify Jester’s location in a big area. It would be hard for him to follow Farhad.

But Rosso stepped forward and still held Farhad back. "You... are you mad, aren’t you here to find Malidi, that’s how we would find him, by killing him and moving forward." This was absurd, this guy acted too emotional for so reason.

More so when he had a trace of Jester right in his hand.

But Rosso still didn’t allow it. "No it’s not the only way out, there are better ways, I can show you." It spoke readying itself to expose Farhad to the very reality of this realm, but before Rosso could do it, the cat appeared out of nowhere and took the little Rat in Rosso’s hand before jumping away.

And it was at the sa ti when Rosso, out of instinct, fired a small thin thread made of blood, which divided the cat in half. "What... what did you do," asked Farhad in horror, looking at the scene that left him sowhat frustrated.
