The hatred of a lifeti, the reason why Alabasta was forced to retire was none other than Kairut, or the ga I played using Kairut as a piece.

This ant that the mont we were found out, none of us would be spared, which made Kairut make his move.

Teleporting towards the entrance, I as well as him were suddenly pushed to the floor, the domain of that old granny was at play, easily suppressing a greenhorn like Kairut without an effort needed on her end.

"The spirit dared to climb into my land again, even bringing a rotten mage with him... have you lost all your fear?" Spoke the old Dragon, she had long felt my existence in Kairut’s possession, and unlike the jovial little conversations we used to have in Bothal when she was still under the pact that rendered her unable to act. This ti, her tone was far colder.

Gone was the friendliness she showed as she told tales of the old, gone was the interest she told when I told her my very own experiences. Now all that was left was slight anger, which was understandable.

The things I did there, the lives I had hard, she was aware of all of it, and as a Guardian of the Dwarfs, she did feel hurt, but the very children she was ant to protect had asked her to not make a move. Which brought them the tragedy.

And it would be wrong to say that only the bad ones died by my hands, many ignorant ones also died who just did their job. Though more than the lives of the dwarves, what hurt this old dragon more was their pride.

My actions were a direct stain on her pride and honor. And to a Dragon, nothing was more important than her Pride.

"Grandma, I... the most I can promise is that I won’t harm your people, and even save them if I had the chance. For now, I will be leaving." Ca my words, followed by a unique chaotic aura that exploded by my puppet body, disrupting the very Domain itself much to her chagrin. There was a surprise in her tone as well as a hint of horror. Before she could think of anything, Kairut, feeling pretty similar to her, entered the caves before that monster arrived.

"I had suspected this... but you really are one of them." Ca a voice that slowly disappeared into the void for a small bit. Though this small event didn’t go unnoticed, the priestess from the Chuch of Red Sun, after witnessing such a bizarre psychic push from Kairut appeared startled followed by horror.

’A Demon King will be born here.’ Domains are special existences, they are the prototype of a god’s kingdom, and by growing this kingdom can finally have the chance to enter the ranks of Gods.

They are not mutually exclusive too, two domains can exist in the sa place, overlapping and even fighting off each other, but they can never deny the existence of the other unless one domain completely overwhelms the other in the rules and strength it contains.

So although this is possible to do for soone on the higher end of Domain completion to soone on a lower rung. But the opposite is entirely impossible. ’Whatever that mage did, he had sothing to do with the demon that will be born here.’ She spoke, recalling the specific job she had at hand.

"What are you thinking girl... I sense bloodlust out of you." Ca a voice from The Priestess back, who in fear backed off as she looked at her back.

There she was, an equally old woman as her, though the two horns that grew on her head told that she was not human."Guardian of Pulgasiri Vesta Vetusta, you were truly here." The priestess spoke with her guard up.

"Says the intruder in my ho."The old Dragon spoke with so sarcasm before continuing. "Crymora was it?... I allowed your ilk in my country under the promise that none of your Legendaries will co and disturb us. But you being here, it can only an that you are reneging on the promise." Spoke the old dragon, her intentions clear.

With the legendary from the Red Sun church appearing in Pulgasiri, the Old Dragon had full right to end the little alliance they had built with the churches and banish its mbers from the country.

Which the Priestess of Cold Corpses cared for naught.

Although hating the na she was called, there was no anger on the face of the Priestess of Cold Corpses, she just bowed in subservience and said. "There are no ill intentions in my heart toward your people... no animosity behind my actions. I was sent here to test sothing, and I did..." She spoke, looking in the direction that Kairut was in. "That Mage... what kind of tool did he carry to deny a Domain." She asked, turning toward the Old dragon.

Though she got no answer in response from the old dragon, instead it was a manly voice that carried thunder in it that spoke instead.

"It’s not a tool oh no, no... what you just witnessed is an anomaly showing its true face... denial of the very nature itself." Alabasta broke the very void that had been sealed under the strength of the Old guardian and appeared without a single ounce of sha on his face, followed by none other than Remira who appeared far more determined than before, as well as his own disciple Vance, who carried an embarrassed look on his face as he bowed toward both the Legendaries there.

"Did the Radiant Order add another one to their ranks?" The Old guardian had been aware of most of the active Legendaries in the world due to her age and being the only protector of Dwarves for a long ti. This made her interact with other parties at a greater level, considering there was always soone trying to steal the dwarves as slaves to build new weapons.

Which made her very knowledgeable when it cos to Legendaries and made it far easier for her to identify who this Priestess of Cold Corpses was, or used to be.

"You must be Lady Vesta, the Oldest Guardian of this Continent." Alabasta, seeing the two horns on the old woman bowed in respect to her age, pushing his disciple and Remira to bow as well., before shouting. "And you are correct Lady Vesta, I recently ascended and ca here the mont I learned of so interesting things." There was fire in Alabasta’s eyes. His target was down below he had slt it and even felt the evil show its true strength in the world again.

There are many reasons why he pursued this monster to no end and one of the major ones is the thing that Alabasta had witnessed when this monster first appeared in front of him from the mountains of corpses.

It’s been almost two centuries at this point, but he rembers that day clearly. The confused spirit filled with jubilation scread in terror while burned by the sun’s gaze.

This had caused Alabasta to take his guard down, thinking that it was just so stupid Wraith who didn’t understand the world better.

However the thing that happened after soon left him speechless.

With a bizarre eruption from the wraith at the center, the fire was put off his body, though that was not all that happened. "What?" He had felt it, the denial of nature itself, he had seen the intense horror that was carried in that Aura, the monstrous potential to deny reality itself. Including the entire existence or rule for that matter.

It was that day when Alabasta lost all his strength as well as a heavy amount of Pollution that entered and corrupted his weakened body. If not for the fact that this denial of bloodline strength only lasted for an hour at most. Alabasta would have died that day without anyone knowing.

"Oh... so you must be the Radiant Knight that hunted the Wraith for decades on end?" And being aware of so of Jester’s story, the Old Guardian asked with so wonder. Which did make Alabasta’s smile deeper. "It would seem he had told you so stories about ?" Alabasta knows the nature of this Old woman.

With old age cos boredom, which leads to obsession which can eventually lead to madness. And from what Alabasta understood, this old dragon had an obsession of her own. She liked stories even if she would deny it on the surface. So it won’t be odd if a storyteller like Jester won’t intrigue her.

This partially also explains why she didn’t make any harsh moves on Jester early on.

When the introductions ca to an end, a certain understanding ford between Alabasta and the Old Guardian. While the Priestess, from the talks of these two people, understood that the person at the center was none other than the annoying wraith that had caused so trouble to the Church before and had earned a level of notoriety recently in the world part of which is gained due to the actions of his cult.
