Rajara was speaking of her wonderful experience with a bizarre fellow who had scared her. A being with no sense of existence and trotting in what seed to be a at suit made out of a dead man.

It was the first instance where she saw sothing like this. A being who controlled the cursed body through his sheer will without being devoured by the curse or with the use of any magic.

It was not a body driven by the ntal power of a spiritual being. But the control of that being was so powerful over the curse, that he never experienced any corruption.

But sad to say, she could never know who that being was. All she rembers is him walking into the sunlight out of her door, as his body turned to dust under the purifying light of the sun.

Though this didn’t an she forgot about him, she had kept the theories and knowledge she learned from him in her mind, while sharing so of her own with him in return.

That’s what researchers did, an active transaction of information was important in any knowledge-based field. One mind might go astray, but if there was soone to call out the mistake, one can reach their goal faster.

And that’s what she had done that day, she shared her own findings in hopes of learning more from this being. A sort of transaction that she never regretted.

However, the only regret of hers was never ever understanding what anomalies were, nor could she ever ask again because she never saw that being again.

So it was a surprise to see her daughter was with one such anomaly herself. And the only reason she can recall the details is the similarities between the two along with the theory that the being has proposed to her.

"So of my n found an interesting curse in a certain tomb. One of the undead series of curses... a dangerous one, even I fear it to so extent." He was looking for a way to control it. As in his own words, destroying it was impossible and the previous victim of this curse has sealed himself in fear of being devoured by it.

Of course, she couldn’t answer much besides referencing her own research on Daugr and the power of contracts.

Though it was just a theory, she never expected it to succeed at all. But from the looks of it, it had succeeded and the creation can be considered one of the bizarre anomalies that can never be replicated again in the future.

It was why she was so adamant about eting her daughter before she could complete the tests that were put in her path. She wished to know who this being was and what Remira was doing with one of his creations.

A creation that is much more dangerous than Remira can ever imagine.

In truth, Rajara just wished to warn her daughter of the dangers of keeping Farhad by her side, while learning who this individual was, in hopes of learning more from him in the future.

Though, much to Rajara’s surprise, the emotions of her daughter were a lot wilder than she had imagined. "Mother, what are you getting at?... no before that, who is this person you are speaking about... "

Remira was panicked and fearful. She took hold of Rajara and shook her while asking. "Who is it... na him?"

In Remira’s mind, she was just thinking one thing.

’This is a coincidence, an accident, it can’t be him. Not here and not with her. He can’t plan that ahead... there is a high chance that Mother might have mistaken Farhad’s state. She might be speaking about soone else and not him.’ Lie as she might to herself, Remira knew that things were not so simple.

’He is an entity whose specialty is his information collection. There is never a coincidence with him.’ Were Vance’s words to Remira when she had t with him after waking up?

She had wished to learn more about Jester and Vance agreed to it, it was Vance’s dream to take revenge for his master one day. Drag Jester into the light and then destroy him. So he will take any help that cos his way.

It was where she had learned more about Jester than ever before. The information she learned from Maxim and Varkus can only be considered to be the tip of the iceberg, when it concerned Jester.

All of that added with the information that Farhad provided, she knew what kind of problematic existence he was.

A being with no entity who could manipulate the mories of weaker beings, including the human mortals.

On the other side, the panicked expressions of Remira were not lost on Dinesh, who looked at her deeply and then at Rajara, who appeared a bit worried over the emotions of her daughter, before replying. "As I said before, I don’t know."

"And from the looks of it, he is soone dangerous?" Rajara’s words sounded genuine. She really didn’t seem to understand who it was. But for now, she can easily establish one fact.

This being was dangerous and he had hard her daughter to so extent.

A thought that can be considered the understatent of the year.

"You really don’t know him?" Remira asked for so confirmation and when her mother nodded, she sighed with relief. "I will treat it as a coincidence for now... but I would also recomnd you to be away from him and run if you ever notice his approach in any way. He is capable of ntal manipulation. Of course, you being an adept, he won’t be able to ss with you. But, it’s always better to be safe, than sorry."

Those were all the things that Remira was ready to speak about. The less her curious-like-a-kitten mother knows, the better it would be for her life.

But Dinesh on the side, couldn’t help but ask. "This individual whom the Professor spoke about might be dangerous. But from his creation, it can be seen that he is no fool. There is no telling how much progress he would have made in the years since Professor last t him."

"... Doctor Dinesh, I would prefer it if you don’t talk to for a while, I still haven’t forgotten the things that happened before and I still wish to learn the source of your subjects. And if it’s illegal as you had claid before, I would have to take you in, and in case you struggle, kill you." This was a threat, this was Remira’s way of saying to shut up and don’t disturb her. Nor speak anything about that individual.

But Dinesh didn’t mind it at all. He just smiled and looked toward Rajara for a while, as if saying. ’What a daughter you got, professor.’ Before he retorted.

"True criminals, led by our workers, nothing more and nothing less. That’s the truth." Dinesh answered Remira with a bright smile, before coming back on the topic. "And I know Sir Knight should have her reasons for your worry. But you have to also understand where we are coming from."

"The anomaly that appeared in this area is just one of the many our organization has learned about. In total, there are four under our jurisdiction and we have learned nothing about them. The only common thing among them is a curse and nothing more."

"We have reached a point where there hasn’t been any progress in this research for the last two years. And at this point, there are so researchers that theorize that its impossible to understand an anomaly. They are closer to the forbidden knowledge in existence, a force of nature that can’t be understood and might born at random."

"And then, you bring the boy who earlier we thought was nothing more than a being like Daugr. But as we saw more and more of him, it turns out, he is an anomaly himself. One that was created by the very man that Professor t."

"That man is capable of such a feat that is considered impossible in the eyes of our circle."

Dinesh’s words stuck with Remira, she had understood one thing.

’Bringing Farhad was a mistake.’ He can see the eyes of the Doctor as well as her mother. She knows that she has accidentally shown her mother sothing she shouldn’t have ever seen. Making it all dangerous.

However, in her heart, Remira also knew that she couldn’t leave Farhad alone. Now more than before, she understood how important Farhad was.

And although she might not fully understand what the Anomalies in this context ant. She knew from the curious eyes of the people around her that Farhad was more than he appeared. And there is no way Farhad would be free to do whatever he wants.

The Jester has plans, dangerous plans and it requires Farhad’s help.

Otherwise, there was no reason to create sothing like Farhad.

"Sorry mother, but I can’t say it. You don’t know the horrors he is capable of. The disaster that happened in our village is nothing compared to the carnage he has created."

"As for the thought of him being a sane individual. Mother, you ntioned it yourself. This bastard is drunk on theatrics, he enjoys the play of misery among mortals. He is not so kind of gentle scholar. But an outright demon."

Rajara heard her daughter’s words loud and clear, but it didn’t an she would be swayed by it. It’s been so long and now she had a chance to et that man once again, how can she give up now?

"Remira, in tis, one has to give in to the demons if it profits them, no matter the cost. We have to take a chance if we wish to learn what happened to your father. Who knows, with this, we might be able to prevent tragedies like ours from ever repeating."
