With a mischievous grin, Xu Feng couldn’t help but marvel at the ring’s conduct. In many novels, immortal objects were often portrayed as haughty and aloof, but this particular ring seed down to earth and agreeable.

"Ugh!" With a frustrated groan, Xu Feng tried to contain his internal turmoil. He knew that the greenhouse was not the place to unleash his frustration, even with the protective walls surrounding him.
It was daylight. Pretty close to noon, and the zombies were less active at this ti, but, THERE WERE STILL ACTAL HUMAN EATING ZOMBIES. Also, humans. Humans were often more treacherous than zombies themselves...at least that’s what he’d often read about and even watched in zombie movies...
Xu Feng couldn’t help but feel a wave of lancholy wash over him, he wanted to moan again. His life seed to be a peak of the books he had read and the dramas and movies he had watched, a strange mixture of fiction and reality.
What kind of life was this!?
Finally pulling himself together, he pushed himself up from the ground. His body protested slightly, and he swayed, side to side, for a mont before steadying himself. He reached down to rub his stomach unconsciously, feeling the strain from his earlier exertion. He had indeed overdone it, but he was determined to finish the greenhouse for Xu Zeng.
Moreover, a part of him yearned for a little adventure beyond the limits of the compound...
Xu Feng slipped his hand into the pocket of his grey sweatpants, a slight difference from his earlier attire the day before—he couldn’t take the sticky feeling this morning, and had taken a quick hoe bath and changed clothing.
Nope, he didn’t wash the other clothes for Xu Zeng—he was too pampered by a certain iceberg, and the thought hadn’t even crossed his mind.
Love was truly blinding! And this young master or young mistress was beyond pampered!
He and Xu Zeng were still undecided on who would make the journey back to Dongzhou and Zhoujin world, and how to even get back, but their ti had run out. And Xu Feng promised to switch back after finishing the greenhouse.
For now, Xu Zeng seed the best fit for this zombie world with his attack abilities. It was crazy that they both had wood abilities, but their functions were so wildly different.
He would do his best in Donghua after he helped Xu Zeng bring this greenhouse to life.
But before heading back to Donghua and doing damage control with his husbands, Xu Feng wanted to retrieve Xu Zeng’s hidden crystal nuclei stash outside of the compound walls and do so cultivating.
The crystal nuclei were amazing! And cultivating with them felt even more dramatic than when he cultivated in the Xuan ancestor’s cave. They were both cheats, but they felt different, and he gained different benefits with each energy source.
What were these benefits? Xu Feng didn’t know exactly, but his body knew.
Xu Feng made his way back to the dormitory, determined to retrieve the seeds he needed for the greenhouse. With careful precision, he planted each of the planters to the brim.
As he stepped back to admire his handiwork, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishnt. Despite the trials and challenges he had faced in this new-old world, his hard work was finally paying off.
The greenhouse, aside from the flower bed where Xu Feng had been sick in, a few tis, was a sight for sore eyes.
