Xu Feng had decided that, for the ti being, he would embrace the current peace and acceptance that had settled over him. Any thoughts or actions beyond that would have to wait for another day. He aid to relish the monts he spent with both Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian, uncertain of what the future might hold.

As his frayed nerves continued to unwind, and a soothing sensation of drowsiness began to overtake him, he noticed the man holding him suddenly flinch and tilt his head. It was as if Xuan Jian had roused him from a half-asleep state, and Xu Feng slowly erged from his drowsy trance.

Grateful for the care he had received, especially knowing that Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang had tended to him throughout the night, nursing him back to health, he felt compelled to express his gratefulness.

He wasn’t an ungrateful ger. They cared for him so selflessly...it was the least he could do. Right?

Xu Feng muttered the words in a voice that remained surprisingly clear despite his sleepy state. "There are two rooms on the opposite side of my bedroom in the main building of Blooming Courtyard."

"Mhmm," The comforting vibrations of Xuan Jian’s chest confird his statent, and it brought a gentle smile to Xu Feng’s face. He continued, determined to express his intentions.

"You and Xuan Yang can choose your own rooms," he paused for a mont, then added, "or you can share a single room if that’s more to your liking."

"...You don’t need to stay in Blooming courtyard though, Budding courtyard is nice and if it’s more convenient for you..."

From a few feet away, an even groggier voice chid in responding to Xu Feng’s string of words. "Can’t we take the room beside yours?"

Startled, Xu Feng’s head swiveled as his brain tried to catch up with the new developnt. "The bridal chamber?" he asked in surprise, "Why would you want to be cramped in there? The rooms beyond the living room haven’t been used, and they’ll give you so privacy."

"I prefer the bridal chamber as well," Xuan Jian agreed, echoing Xuan Yang’s choice.

With that matter settled, Xu Feng found himself in a daze, his thoughts scattered and muddled. The morning had been a series of surreal monts, from the greenhouse to the kitchen and back to his room.

When he stepped into the kitchen to check on the girls’ progress, it was more of an excuse to create so distance between himself and Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian. He needed a breather from the intensity of their presence.

The kitchen buzzed with activity. It was a lively scene filled with bright, contrasting colors. Vegetables were being chopped, the pot simring with the congee, and the sizzle of a pan on the stove filled the air.

The girls worked in harmony keeping breakfast warm and getting busy preparing more filling waiting for their Masters to get ready. They refused to have the breakfast Xu Feng made before he had eaten any himself.

Once Xu Feng was sure that the two n weren’t lingering outside the kitchen, he decided to return to his room. He craved the solitude and space to clear his head, away from the tension that surrounded Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang.

He needed space to not be influenced by their hormones or pheromones or their stupid faces...whatever it was, he needed a break from it.

As he entered his room, he was greeted by the sight of his massive, fluffy bed, neatly made and inviting. An inner brat within him urged him to run and jump onto it, to toss and turn until he found so peace within his soul. The urge was almost irresistible.

But, he didn’t. He shouldn’t. He wouldn’t. Not yet.

He held back. He knew he couldn’t afford such indulgence at the mont. He resisted the childish temptation, even though he wanted nothing more than to surrender to the carefree act.

Instead, Xu Feng used a finger to touch the shoulder of his robe, finding it slightly damp. He couldn’t deny that he had spent an extended period of ti hugging a very sweaty man, and he bore the consequences.

He was too much of a clean freak to sully his bed with sweat on purpose.

A small grin played on Xu Feng’s lips as he rolled his eyes. Maybe he should consider starting a workout regin. Maybe it was ti to get in better shape, especially in a world where cultivators existed.

His couch potato butt had a big mouth at the worst tis, he should at least get better at running away from trouble.

Thinking about his future workout regin was more fun than thinking about the two n who had nearly ganged up against him and argued with him to move into the room closest to him.

That mont still lingered in his brain. Things were getting more complicated than he ever thought they could get. Simplicity was for the best, but it was ever fleeting.

Xu Feng felt an undeniable sense of relief as he contemplated the fact that he wasn’t sick or in dire need of Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian’s constant care. The idea of having both n in such close proximity was enough to drive him to the brink of madness.

He shook his head, dismissing the idea that he was so sort of walking disaster or bad luck charm.

He wasn’t that much of a klutz ...

Even if he was...

A wry smile touched his lips as he rolled his eyes once again. It seed even in his own internal debates; he couldn’t win an argunt against himself. Maybe he truly was an accident waiting to happen.

Either way, he wouldn’t regret his decision to banish Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian to the other side of the living room. The choices they made about whether to share one room or take separate ones were entirely up to them.

The only thing he currently regretted was his loose lips.

With a resigned sigh, Xu Feng made his way to the nearby cabinet to select a simple, unfussy outfit for the day. He knew he needed to bathe, change into fresh clothes, and tend to the greenhouse where his seeds awaited.

Additionally, there was a pile of newly purchased clothing and materials from the previous day that needed organizing. He should at least open a book after purchasing so many.
