As it was planned, Keira and Zach enjoyed their ti together alone while Keira hadn’t started working yet.
This ti around, they went for a picnic at one of the best parks near their area where people usually visited because of the nice views.
"What a relaxing place to be on a beautiful day," Keira comnted with a smile. As usual, feeling Zach’s warm hand that held hers.
The park was near the shopping district and only twenty minutes away from their building by car.
"It’s said that it’s a 158-years-old tropical rainforest," murmured Zach as they were looking for a nice spot to settle.
It was an urban utopia that offered a peaceful respite from the inner-city activity.
The park’s highlights were the National Orchid Garden which maintained a collection of more than a thousand species and hybrids of orchid trees and the lake where visitors could feed the black swans.
They found a patch of grass that was surrounded by colossal trees from all the sides and decided to settle there.
Keira excitedly got the boxes from their lunch bag that Zach had brought. She knew that everything was prepared by Zach beforehand.
The sandwiches that Zach had prepared looked so tasty. While Keira was drooling all over the food that they had brought, Zach just watched her full of admiration.
It was a sirloin steak sandwiches with smoked relish. Homade relish and mayo made the pri cut baguette extra special.
"Hmm, here, have a bite," Keira said lovingly as she offered Zach her sandwich to bite which the latter obediently did.
"Wow, now I’m really excited to et your mom and try her dishes. Both you and Lyra are really good cooks. I bet her dishes are to die for. I can’t wait to tell May about it when that happens. I will make sure she’ll get envious." Keira said laughing at the thought of May’s drooling face once she told her how nice must be the food she would eat at her future in-laws’.
She squealed unconsciously at the thought of ’future in-laws’. Well, she would make sure that it would surely happen. She would definitely beco Keira Chan Lim, whether Zach liked it or not.
But she bet he would, wouldn’t he?
She suddenly paused and stared at Zach who she caught was staring at her.
"Why are you smiling like that?" Zach asked.
Keira bit her lip and shook her head, "Hmm, nothing..."
She saw Zach open the other box.
"Here, try this one," he said.
"It’s a roasted chicken garden salad," Zach added.
Keira took a bite, it was a salad that maximized the flavor of a succulent whole chicken.
"I’ve cooked the croutons in the sa tray and used the juices for the dressing," Zach explained as he watched Keira enjoy the al.
Keira felt so full that she wanted to do nothing but lie down and look at the bright sky.
Then she heard a symphony orchestra gently serenading for visitors with soft lodies, so she closed her eyes to enjoy it.
Though her eyes were closed, she could still feel the sunlight, brightly shining on her face.
Then suddenly, the sunlight was gone as if the sun was blocked, so she opened her eyes.
"Sorry, you look sooo gorgeous that I couldn’t help but co closer to admire you," whispered Zach with a grin, as his face was blocking the sun rays because he was about to kiss Keira.
She smiled lovingly as she said, "I really don’t mind, my lovely General..."
That instant she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss.

"You’re such a disgrace!" Old Madam Hitler hissed, as she threw so photos on Jeru’s face.
"How co that man slipped through your grasp! Look at that!" Old Madam Liu exclaid with a very annoyed face.
She had already known that Keira went inside the Military because of Zach, as what Trish reported to her, but then the man went on a mission, so she let him be back then.
She thought that Jeru could take care of Keira taking into account these few years that they were close. But still, that brat failed.
It was a good thing that she had got prepared for this kind of outco three years ago and already had a plan.
She was going to snatch the villa that Zach currently owned and leave his family penniless. Of course, she would make sure that Zach blad everything on his connection with Keira Chan!
Jeru picked up the photos of Zach and Keira where they were very sweet and affectionate with each other at different places.
Jeru let out a long, deep sigh. He already knew about it, directly from Keira.
"Why are you so quiet? Don’t tell you already knew about it?!" Old Madam Liu hissed.
Jeru’s face was blank as he said, "Grandma, can we just let them be? Keira doesn’t have any special feelings for . I’m contented to be her friend now."
He only said that to stop Old Madam Hitler from the harassnt she would possibly cause to Keira.
He was badly hurt inside when he found out about their relationship. Though he knew that Keira would never reciprocate his feelings because the latter was vocal and had been honest with him about it from the start.
But it’s true that he was contented to be Keira’s friend, seeing her smile and happy.
He heard his grandmother hissed as she said irritably, "It was you who chose her before! Why are you such a failure? How co you can’t get her, but a poor man from an unknown family could? I’m so disappointed in you, Jeru! Just like your father, both of you did nothing but bring disappointnt to this family!"
Jeru’s face reddened, but he kept his head slightly bowed down to hide it.
He had tried to excel at everything just to gain accreditation from his grandmother and receive the love he longed from his father. But in the end, he always ended up as a failure.
Even if he did not want it, his blood was boiling at that mont with anger towards Zach. It was always Zach who was a hindrance to him.
"Why are all of you so useless?!" Old Madam Liu exclaid irritably before she left Jeru alone.
Jeru’s face beca gloomy, as he clasped his fists in anger. Maybe if Zach was gone from the picture, everything would fall into place for him?!
