Chapter 167: Wolf & Hawk’s Group
Zach and Ryu managed to get the attention of the underworld king, Mr. Big and they finally set off to et Mr. Big’s group to lure them by their offer of a better deal in a huge quantity of weapons and drugs.
They were led by a man in a narrow alley ending into a shabby place that looked like the ruins of an old big house.
Once they entered the main door of the house, a large group of ard n were present there. Zach and his team didn’t flinch at all and kept their arrogant and strong deanor.
It was the first ti Mr. Big’s n had seen the new group who was currently making a loud na as a newcor in the underworld. The strong aura of the group was enough for them to understand that this group was here to stay and not to play and lose.
All of them had put masks to cover their faces. This was how the underworld goes.
Most of them wore a mask on their faces to hide their identities. They would only show up themselves if they already knew each other for a considerable long period of ti, a guarantee that both trusted each other.
The security in the one of the hideouts of Mr. Big was very tight and each of Zach’s group mbers was checked in and out. No recorders, mobile phones or any gadgets were allowed in. The security checked them thoroughly for anything that could prove them to be spies of so governnt agencies or an enemy from another groups.
When asked to leave their weapons aside, Zach’s team refused but had to submit in the end to et the King. No wonder, the military group were having a hard ti to wipe all the underground groups. These underground people were all ticulous in protecting their identity.
After the scanning, only the leaders, Wolf and Hawk were escorted inside a secret room where Mr. Big was sitting on a big chair like a king on his throne surrounded by his bodyguards.
"Welco to our booming business world. I heard you two are sworn brothers, Hawk and Wolf? Why does the alias Hawk sound sissy to
though?" Then Mr. Big’s laugh roared inside the room while his bodyguards followed him laughing aloud making fun of them.
Intended to intimidate the two and make them more submissive in front of them, their first pressure attack didn’t quite work on the two guys and Ryu instead said, "Then why do the alias Big sound the opposite to ? Are you Small in your size perhaps?" mocking the manhood of the King of the underworld.
The bodyguards of Mr. Big moved, about to attack the two new gangsters in front.
"What? Is this how Mr. Big welcos his guests with a big prospect in this business? Mr. Big, let
make it clear to you, we are here for business with you. We could also go to Mr. Gold who is about to visit this country next week, but we decided to et you first because of the fairness you offer in business. I have a fair good deal in arms and ammunitions to offer as well as the drug business is also going to be our forte soon." Wolf said in confidence that made Mr. Big jeered.
"You are just a boy and I don’t think getting ahead of yourself that early will convince ." Mr. Big said with an arched brow.
Then one of his bodyguards entered the room and whispered sothing to Mr. Big that made him crease his forehead.
"Alright... Gentlen... Calm down and be seated. Let
hear your offers then and see how good it is." Mr. Big said, seeing Wolf and Hawk were ready to leave. Mr. Big suddenly changed his expression.
Ryu started the discussion as planned.
"Are you sure about this order? Because it’s quite big for a newcor gang like yours?" Mr. Big asked.
"No it’s not. I might be new, but I have my ways. Moreover, it is just the starting and later we will be expanding our supply in other countries and continents as well. We are new but confident about our future operations. Even we, in the underworld have our bit of honest and fair deals and I strive by that to be one of the best suppliers soon." Said Ryu.
Mr. Big laughed and said, "Alright we will entrust you with a small project first and see your quality of things as well as your promptness in supplying before we sign a big deal with you. I am not stupid to believe re reports unless I experience real transactions myself."
Then the discussion went on... and they reached the final agreent.
Days passed and all was going well so far.
Wolf & Hawk’s Group were making a na in the underworld market with honest dealings and had beco renowned in a short period of ti.
Even though they were new they were throwing a large sum of money and the large transactions they were having with other groups also added to their glory...
Zach couldn’t wait to be with his wife so he worked double ti than usual. "Can I get a day off?" murmured Torin when Zach and him got the chance to be alone.
"No! I will get a day off and you stay here to monitor things while I’m away." answered Zach, feeling frustrated that he had kept his wife waiting for his return for days now.
"Bro! Just one day and after that I will no longer ask for a day off until we complete the mission." pleaded Torin. Zach stopped with what he was doing to look directly at Torin and exclaid, "Are you married Torin?"
Torin shook his head.
"Do you have a girlfriend Torin?"
Torin shook his head the second ti around, as his lips curved downwards because he knew already what would be his Bro Zach’s words next...
"I just got married and haven’t spent a single day with my wife, I left her and ca as soon as the marriage was registered. So NO day off for you unless I have it first! Do you understand?" Zach said plainly that made Torin’s shoulders dropped.
Yes he understood. But, how about Lyra? The thoughts of her had been flooding his mind every mont from a few days. He was dying to clear things out between him and Lyra but his Bro Zach would definitely not let him have a day before himself...
