Quick update on the lack of new chapters.
When the conflict with Iran started, it was supposed to last a couple of weeks. That didn't really pan out. There's been so talk about a ceasefire, but from what I'm seeing, nothing is actually moving forward, and things are still ongoing.
Here in Israel, the situation is still pretty rough. We're getting missile alerts every night, which ans running to the shelter multiple tis, and sleep has beco a bit optional. There are alerts during the day as well, so it's not just a nightti thing. It adds up.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
On top of that, schools still aren't functioning normally, so parents are stepping in. Every day cos with Zoom etings, assignnts, and trying to keep kids on track, which ans I've effectively beco a teacher as well. At the sa ti, I still need to keep up with my regular work as a translator since that's our inco. It's… a lot. On a good day, I'm running at about half capacity.
Right now, writing just isn't happening.
I know this isn't ideal, and I really want to get back to posting regularly as soon as things calm down. For now, though, I'd rather be honest than promise chapters I can't deliver.
