The scarred adventurer nodded after Rayven’s explanation, then turned to his companion and gave a short gesture.

Without another word, the man reached into his pouch and placed a handful of silver coins on the counter.

"We’ll take ten jars," he said.

Rayven signaled the assistants, who moved quickly to pack the order.

He was decisive, and Rayven liked it.

"Our discount is only for two days. Please tell your friends in the Guild about it." Rayven said in the end.

The adventurers didn’t linger. They tasted another free sample and confird that they had the sa product and left.

Rayven watched them go, quietly pleased. That was the kind of custor he wanted. He was practical, decisive, and likely to return.

After a few hours, the store finally cald down... Still, there were a lot of people who had heard about his Mayonnaise, and soon, another visitor stepped into the shop.

She was dressed well, and she didn’t look like a traveler.

"Miss Gina..." Rayven recognized her imdiately.

He’d normally see her with an apron dusted with flour, since she was soone used to managing a kitchen.

Apparently, she was from the eatery across the street and Rayven would eat there from ti to ti to save money.

Gina gave a small smile. "I slled sothing interesting and figured I’d co see for myself."

She walked over to the sampling table and picked up a vegetable stick. A quick dip, a thoughtful chew, and then a slow nod to acknowledge the taste.

"This is good," she said. "Better than I expected. Creamy, but it doesn’t overpower the vegetables."

Rayven smiled. "Glad you like it."

He reached behind the counter and brought out a small plate. It was grilled at brushed with a thin layer of mayonnaise. It was part of the limited sample batch, reserved for potential partners or high-value custors.

"Try this..." he said.

Lira raised an eyebrow but accepted the plate. She took a bite and then looked at Rayven with a more serious expression.

The taste wasn’t sothing she had expected.

"This... this I can use," she said. "I run an inn. We serve breakfast and light als. If this keeps well, I want a steady supply."

Rayven nodded. "It’s shelf-stable for over a month. No cooling needed. We seal each tub properly, and the flavor holds."

Lira crossed her arms, thinking. "How many can you supply weekly?"

"We’re producing in batches," Rayven replied. "Right now, we can handle up to five hundred tubs per week. If demand grows, we’ll scale."

She gave a short laugh. "Five hundred? That’s a lot... For now, can you help with three jars per week. If it sells well, we’ll talk about more."

Rayven extended his hand. "Deal."

Gina shook it firmly. "I’ll send soone tomorrow to pick up the first batch. And I’ll be back for a few tubs today. I want my staff to try it."

Just like that, Rayven watched her leave with a quiet sense of satisfaction. He wasn’t earning a massive amount of money, but he believed that this business would help him steadily earn his gold coins for his future upgrades.

After all, everything in his system right now was just expensive...

Soon, as he confird that everything had stabilized and it was also getting late, Rayven decided to leave it to the rest of them.

He just planned to at least order them so food later on for a job well done on their first day.

***

The next morning, Rayven arrived early to check on the shop, but before he could even step inside, a runner from the Adventurer’s Guild intercepted him.

"Mr. Rayven..." the boy said while panting slightly. "Guildmaster Warren requests your presence. Urgently."

Rayven was curious about this since there was really no reason for the Guildmaster to call him out.

’Ohh... We were sold out yesterday... Maybe he wanted to order or make a deal?’ He mused...

After clearing his throat, he replied.

"Did sothing happen?"

"I don’t know, sir. But he said it’s about your mayonnaise."

Rayven nodded.

Well, it was quite unusual for the Guildmaster to call for him about the Mayonnaise instead of visiting his shop, but he didn’t really mind.

He then gave an instruction to his assistants, told them to handle the shop for now, and made his way to the Guild.

As soon as Rayven entered, the receptionist waved him through.

"Guildmaster’s waiting upstairs. eting room." Stella imdiately said.

Rayven climbed the stairs and stepped into the room.

Guildmaster Warren was there, seated at the head of the table. He was a broad-shouldered man with a trimd beard and a calm expression.

Beside him sat a stranger. He was well-dressed, clean-shaven, and clearly not a local adventurer. He seed more like a Mage in his opinion.

"Rayven," Warren said. "Thanks for coming. This is Carlo, from the Arcanum Circle."

Rayven’s eyes lit up... "I’ve heard of them. You’re the ones exploring the 17th dungeon nearby."

Carlo smiled after seeing the 15-year-old mage...

"That’s right. We’ve been stationed here for a few weeks now. And yesterday, one of our mbers brought back a tub of your mayonnaise."

He leaned forward slightly.

"It was excellent."

Rayven didn’t respond. He simply waited... They were definitely not just to order a few tubs of mayonnaise.

It must be sothing more...

As expected, Carlo continued. "We’ve been eating preserved rations and dried at for weeks. Your product was a surprise. Flavorful, long-lasting, and easy to carry. It’s exactly the kind of thing we need."

He reached into his coat and placed a small pouch on the table. The sound of coins clinking was unmistakable.

"I’m authorized to offer five hundred gold coins for the recipe."

Rayven’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Five hundred gold.

It was a lot of money.

But not enough.

He didn’t flinch. "I’m not selling the recipe."

Carlo’s smile didn’t fade, but his tone shifted.

"That’s expected... So aside from giving you this... I will give you two Spell Rune Models you want... I heard that you have so mastery with Telekinesis and Stone Skin..."
