The last thing Li Shen rembered was closing the gap in the tribulation so his father and brother couldn't enter. But after that, the mory just continued when he regained his mories a few minutes ago.
He was able to fill in so gaps using the mories of when he was Dai Hee, but before he entered Dai Hee was a blur.
Li Shen held his head out of confusion at the loss of such an important mory.
“Not to ntion I can’t rember anything before entering this body, I ca to realize the original owner of this body’s soul lingered when I had possessed him. He had a strong desire to live, and with his Supre-grade soul, this must have influenced my weaken soul to think that I was him. Poor kid.”
Li Shen couldn’t help but say that last part.
“If only you were born in a different family, you’re Supre-grade soul would have allowed you to be among the current Top geniuses. Screw that cousin of yours, since I have taken over your body your grievances are my grievances. If I ever see that fucker Anang just know I’ll bite him to death to avenge us!”
As Li Shen made that pledge, he release a sigh.
“Alright, there's no point in thinking about this too much if really can’t rember. Maybe the mory will return after my soul is fully healed.”
Li Shen turned and took up the Soul Nourishing pill he had dropped.
“I want to take this now, but if I truly want to get the most benefits from consuming it I need ti to refine it. Perhaps I’ll try and absorb it after I enter the Hidden Fragnted Realm, that's the best condition to be in.”
After saying that, Li Shen released another sigh before saying in a bemoaning voice.
“In tis like these, I’m going to miss my old body. With my half Heavenly Physique, I could have absorbed this pill in an instant!”
However, as Li Shen said this he realized another important factor.
“Wait, my current Physique, is it not similar to my Chaos Physique? Did this brat sohow absorb a Chaos Qi as well?! Ah, wait no, what am I thinking? That’s impossible, he would have died.”
Li Shen looked down at his body and with a thought a starry black glow appeared around his entire figure.
“This could only an that the Chaos Physique from my original body was transferred to this body sohow. And my Ti Qi, I have that as well. I wonder what else was transferred over?”
As Li Shen said this, he closed his eyes and fully examined his body.
After so ti, he opened his eyes and a bitter smile appeared on his face. He then left his palm and a miniature vortex appeared in his hand.
This was his Qi Sea, sohow it was still with him. Its form had certainly changed though, now it resembled a Martial Spirit more than a product of his Qi Cultivation.
“And then there is this thing.”
As Li Shen said that, an orange plum blossom petal appeared inside his small Qi Sea, his second Martial Spirit.
“So I still have my Chaos Physique, my Ti Qi, and these two. My Heavenly Physique is gone along with my ability to manipulate the six natural elents and their laws. The other six petals of the Seven Sins plum blossom are also gone. Sohow this situation might not be so bad, it’s better than starting with nothing.”
Li Shen saw the bright side of this disaster, and though he might have lost so of his abilities, as he was now he might not be any weaker than when he was before. Actually, his Chaos Physique seed even stronger.
Maybe that was because it no longer had to compete with his Heavenly Physique. Plus, there was another fellow that survived with him, and that was the Ti Seed.
With a thought, Li Shen was able to call out the Ti Seed from his body. It appeared in his second Martial Spirit.
When it appeared Li Shen realized it was very dim. Along with it being so obedient, Li Shen couldn't help but form a thought in his mind.
“Was it you that save ?”
Li Shen had an inkling this Ti Seed was responsible for saving him. To be honest he had no hope of surviving that Heavenly Calamity.
“Maybe it wasn’t a coincidence that my Qi Sea and this orange petal that’s connected to my soul had appeared in this body. As for my Chaos Physique, it too is connected to my soul. Most of my abilities are a product of mysterious things fusing with my soul. Now that I think about it, if my soul was like a normal cultivator's, it might have been destroyed from so many things fusing with it.”
As for the powers Li Shen hadn’t regained, that’s Heavenly Physique and the other six plum blossoms petals, Li Shen might not miss them.
They never felt like his own power anyway so good radiance! But it wasn’t like he didn’t feel it was a pity, he wouldn’t be able to use his signature Technique anymore, the Myriad Qi Creation Art.
“Sigh… Whatever, I should just be grateful for what I have and that I’m not dead. For now, I need to go into hiding and recuperate for the Chosen Tournant two days from now. We’ll be transported to the location where it's going to be held using the teleportation circle they're building, at that ti I’ll et the others.”
Li Shen laughed when he thought about the others' reactions to eting him. Though he suddenly paused, and the mory of seeing Lu Yue falling in front of him replayed in his mind.
“Aye... I truly am terrible. But I promise I was planning on eting you after we ca to the continent for the Chosen Tournant, but that Heavenly Calamity happen. I’m sorry I didn’t co sooner, but I’m here now.”
As Li Shen muttered to himself his body suddenly beca light as he used his Chaos Physique to float into the air.
“With Jun’s ability, I’m sure he’ll be able to cure you. Do you know how excited I was when I found out he had gained that ability? I was always worried that my bloodline wasn’t with anymore, I really was worried! And I thought about you a lot. So... So I’m sorry.”
To Li Shen, his feelings towards Lu Yue were sincere. He was truly full of regret toward her the most. As soone who he was going to be bound to through marriage, his relationship with her was unlike Yang Su and Jun who were his disciples. It was unlike Lihua and the others, or either Tai and Little Snow as well, and even his mother and family.
She was his future wife! The future mother of his kids!
Li Shen needed to make it up to her big ti rather than sit here and make excuses for himself.
Suddenly, Li Shen looked down at his hands and saw the ring Lu Yue had given him. With a thought, he took out the cape and place his soul signature on it before he wore it.
“It’s a bit too fancy for my taste, but I’ll wear it without complain… Huh? Oh!”
Li Shen was about to say, but the once silver and golden cape had its runes lit up before it turned black. Li Shen almost blended in the darkness of the night perfectly as a result.
“That’s convenient.”
Li Shen said as he flew off. His destination was the Absolute Domain.
He was sure if he stay in this city for the next two days he would be too busy fighting or running around to recover.
As Li Shen made his way to the Absolute Domain, his speculation was right. Thousands of geniuses participating in the upcoming Chosen Tournant were overturning the city to find him. They did even leave a single pebble upturned.
The Chaos was absurd really.
