Lu Yue had seen him reveal his physical prowess previously and even going toe to toe with Mid Foundation Realm experts.
But she was different. She wasn’t just an ordinary Mid Foundation Realm expert that had ford her fifth Divine Platform. Her power at this mont could even rival soone who had ford their eighth, allowing her to battle soone in the Late Foundation Realm.
But Li Shen casual flicked almost knocked her sword out of her hand, which ant its raw force was as strong as a blow from soone in the Late Foundation Realm at the very least.
It wasn’t like there weren’t Fleshly Body cultivators at that level in their generation, but until now Li Shen was known as a useless prince. To see him with such power was subverting the weak impression she had of him previously.

Hearing that, Li Shen’s expression turned strange.
This entire situation was a one big wtf mont.
“Submit to what exactly?"
"I was only joking before but you do realize what you’re suggesting? Even I know from just hearing it that you’re only option isn’t limited to this one. I’m not exactly sure why you need to have a child with soone with a strong soul, but I’m sure it’s the option that has the least likely chance to work.”
“Why go through all of this?”
‘Where did that sad emotion I felt go? Was it not because she didn’t want to go through with the engagent, but rather because she had no choice but to choose this option?’
Li Shen was starting to realize that this was what soone at the end of their rope looked like. It was almost similar to Fei Yin's mindset but was sorta different. This was her being backed into a corner with nowhere to go.
Telling her he won’t help her had probably pushed her further into that wall.
“Are you going to agree to the marriage alliance?”
Lu Yue didn’t answer him and instead ask a question of her own.
“… Alright look, maybe we got off on the wrong foot. Put down the sword and let’s just talk about this, okay?”
“There is nothing to talk about, if you won’t agree then I’ll force you to sohow.”
Lu Yue's aura burst from her body and Li Shen frowned.
He felt that sothing was wrong.
Around Lu Yue, a red aura rose before mixing together with the blue from before.
“Yin and Yang essence.”
Li Shen mumbled at the sight of these two energies. But his eyes imdiately narrowed when he saw blood seeping from the corner of Lu Yue’s lips.
“I knew I sense sothing weird! You're using the Yin and Yang essence that's sucking away your life force. Stop! Are you crazy?! It’s going to kill you at this rate!!”
Li Shen had called her crazy before but this ti he actually ant it. She was basically committing suicide, what would he do if she died right now?
Forget about it being almost similar to Fei Yin's situation, it was practically the sa!
“You-”
“Do you agree to the marriage proposal or not?!!”
Li Shen's face darkened at that.
She wasn't powering up to attack him as he thought, she was actually threatening to take her own life if he didn’t agree. If that happened the Lu Clan would undoubtedly find fault with his Li Clan for her death.
“You crazy girl, you're completely crazy. Crazy is the only word to describe you right now. Fine! I agree to give you my seed!”
Even in this mont Li Shen was trying to crack jokes.
Lu Yue frowned at his words but she still said.
“Swear a blood oath.”
Li Shen’s face imdiately stiffened.
Seeing his unwillingness, Lu Yue gritted her teeth and the aura around her began to swirl violently, kicking up wind everywhere in the lake garden.
Even the bodyguard could no longer sit back and watch.
Thinking for a mont, he turned around in an attempt to leave.
Lu Yue was planning on killing herself but perhaps the people from the Profound Sword Sect could stop her.
However, his hair suddenly stand on end and he swiftly turned around to see a red and blue colored Sword Qi flying toward him.
Pushing his palm forwards he attempted to shatter the attack. In which he did quite easily, however, two small streams of hot and cold energies entered his palm. His face imdiately went pale before he stumbled back.
He tried to drive out these two energies but as soon as his Spiritual Qi ca into contact with them, his Spiritual Qi began to disperse.
Frightened, Li Wen quickly drop to the ground and got into a ditative position to focus on suppressing these strange energies.
Seeing this, Li Shen was surprised and he stared at Lu Yue with apprehension.
Lu Yue turned back to him and said.
“Go on, swear a blood oath.”
Looking at Lu Yue, Li Shen’s eyes held an indistinguishable fla.
‘Fuck, she’s actually serious.’
Letting out a sigh he then said while shrugging.
“Fine, I guess I could marry you, why not?”
Holding up one of his hands and placing the other on his chest, Li Shen made an exaggerated show out of it as he yelled.
“I swear to the heavens I’ll accept you as my crazy wife!”
However, he smiled bitterly in his heart.
To think he would be in this ridiculous situation where soone would force him to take them as his wife.
“There, I agreed to marry you. So stop this already, it’s not funny to play with your life like this.”
Li Shen turned to walk away, but Lu Yue suddenly stop him.
“Wait!!”
“That blood oath is wrong. Swear you would help not just agree to the marriage alliance.”
‘Dammit!’
Li Shen cursed internally.
Lu Yue saw Li Shen stop in his tracks, but a split second later his body suddenly disappeared.
“You-!!”
Lu Yue turned to her right to see Li Shen appear next to her.
He went to grab her hand but she tried to retreat while yelling.
“Don’t co near !!”
Li Shen ignored her and quickly approached her grabbing her hand.
“You idiot!! I said to not co near !!”
Seeing Li Shen holding her arm Lu Yue's face turned into a panicked expression.
anwhile, as Li Shen grabbed her arm, he felt cold and hot energy enter his hand in waves.
His entire right sleeve suddenly burst into searing hot flas, but at the sa ti, he felt a frigid coldness.
He let go of Lu Yue’s hand and took a step back. Staring at his hand covered in this blue-reddish fla hre saw that it was slowly moving up to his forearm.
‘This is-’
Li Shen paused before a thoughtful look appeared on his face.
“I’m sorry I didn’t an for this to happen. I’m so sorry.”
Snapping out of his montary daze, Li Shen turned to see Lu Yue trembling with a hand over her mouth.
She was staring at his still burning arm with tears in her eyes.
Li Shen tilted his head with a frown.
“What’s with your reaction?”
Lu Yue fell to her knees devastated by her actions and began to sob uncontrollably.
“I never ant to hurt anyone, but because of this curse, I can’t even touch my family for fear I might lose control and pass it on to them. Y-you’re arm, the fire is going to spread from it until it eventually consus your body to burn your flesh and freeze your bones, nothing can stop it now. I’m sorry, I only wanted you to agree to help , I-I didn’t think-no.”
Unable to hold back her tears, Lu Yue buried her face in her hands and sobbed. She was unwilling to watch another person be killed by her curse once again.
Li Shen hearing that, looked away from Lu Yue to stare at his arm.
It was true, even his Heavenly Physique and Spiritual Physique that the Chaos Qi itself improved felt as if they were being destroyed.
Li Shen also tried using his Divine Will which was partially as strong as a Nascent Soul Realm Cultivator's, but he had to imdiately retrieve it or else it would have been consu.
He was shocked by this flas lethality, however, he wasn’t that worried.
Before the fire could spread anymore, Li Shen secretly circulated his Ti Qi toward his arm.
The damage to his ridians as well as his bones and flesh slowly heal, or rather, reverted back to how they were before.
As for the fire, he wrapped his Ti Qi around his arm and it slowly began to shrink before it was completely gone.
However, it wasn’t as easy as it sounds. The fire was extrely terrifying, and coupled that with using his Ti Qi on his two powerful physiques, the task proved itself to be strain on his current abilities. It was only possible because the fire large and hadn’t cause that much damage to his arm.
Feeling the amount of Ti Qi he had to use it was almost 2/3 of what was in his dantian.
‘Well, there goes months' worth of Ti Qi.’
After, Li Shen lifted his hand up in front of Lu Yue while saying.
“Look, I’m fine, so there’s no need to cry okay?”
He also scratched his cheek with his finger rather awkwardly.
Seeing Lu Yue cry over injuring him caused his impression of her being a crazy lunatic to change slightly.
“What?”
Hearing Li Shen voice, Lu Yue couldn’t understand what was going on.
She didn’t know why she was still hearing him.
‘Did he die and beco a ghost? Oh god.’
Lu Yue was filled with even more remorse. Because of her, Li Shen had died and was now a wondering spirit.
However, as she looked up expecting to see Li Shen's disembodied soul, she ended up seeing him in the flesh standing in front of her. He was even presenting his arm that her curse had covered before, which made her beco completely dumbfounded.
With wide eyes Lu Yue asked with stutter.
“Y-you, how are you still alive?"
"Are you a ghost?”
