"What did you say?" Zhang Ming sneered from the side. "Help us? You’re just the owner of a rundown fruit stand. What help could you possibly offer? Do you have any idea how big this deal is? Are you even qualified to get involved?"

"Let tell you straight up," he continued, "just having Miss Wei’s product on our hopage for one day can generate three million in revenue! In ten days, that’s a full thirty million. Tell , kid, have you ever seen that much money in your life? Are you scared speechless?"

At that, Zhang Ming let out a cold laugh and turned to Wei Zixuan.

"Miss Wei, you may be capable and outstanding, but I have to say, your taste in n is frankly appalling. How could you fall for a guy like this?" he said with a look of disbelief.

Wei Zixuan’s expression grew awkward. My husband isn’t that bad... He’s a major CEO with a net worth in the billions.

However, their relationship was tense at the mont, so she had no desire to explain anything on Chen Zheng’s behalf.

"Miss Wei, you know my ti is very limited. Surely you don’t expect to waste it on soone like him?" Zhang Ming’s face was clouded with displeasure, looking as if he would leave at the slightest disagreent. His ssage was clear: they were discussing business, and Chen Zheng had no place here. Otherwise, the deal was off.

Chen Zheng frowned, about to speak, but Wei Zixuan pulled him aside. "I’m in the middle of a business eting right now. Can we talk about our issues later?" she whispered. "Could you please just leave for now?"

"It’s simple, I’ll leave. But you have to promise you won’t drink," Chen Zheng replied in a low voice. This was his bottom line.

"Kid, you’re going too far!" Zhang Ming interjected icily. "Whether Miss Wei drinks is her own business! You’re just a good-for-nothing. What right do you have to run your mouth here? If you don’t know what’s good for you, believe , I’ll have my n throw you out right now!"

However, just as he finished speaking, the hotel’s Manager Zhao walked in with several people. "Mr. Zhang, what seems to be the matter? Weren’t you having a al? Why the anger?"

"Manager Zhao, perfect timing," Zhang Ming said, his voice dripping with mockery as he glared at Chen Zheng. "This guy has no manners. He just barged into our private room and disrupted our eting! Please escort him out, before I lose my temper."

Manager Zhao imdiately turned to Chen Zheng, his expression stern. "Sir, do you have a reservation here? If not, please leave imdiately and do not disturb our other guests!"

"And if I don’t?" Chen Zheng shot Manager Zhao a cold look, an icy aura emanating from him.

At the sa ti, the wine glass in his hand instantly disintegrated into dust, drifting slowly to the floor.

Manager Zhao’s eyes widened in shock and terror. Good heavens... Is his hand made of iron?

"Kid, you’d better put your little tricks away. You think you’re impressive because you can crush a glass?" Zhang Ming scoffed. "Manager Zhao, I’ll be clear. He’s the one who broke the glass. I’m not paying for it!"

Although he didn’t know how Chen Zheng had done it, it was aningless to him.

Manager Zhao snapped back to his senses. "Sir, this establishnt is under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Departnt. If you intend to cause trouble, I suggest you think carefully about the consequences!"

Chen Zheng’s little trick was indeed shocking, but what good was it? This guy might be tough, but can he really be more powerful than Mr. Zhang? Mr. Zhang is the chairman of an e-comrce empire worth tens of billions! Look at this kid, he looks so poor he probably doesn’t even have a few dozen yuan to his na. How dare he cause trouble here?

"So what if you’re under the Provincial Departnt?" Chen Zheng said coldly. "Even your Departnt Head wouldn’t dare to speak to this way!"

"Hahaha..." Manager Zhao burst into wild laughter.

Zhang Ming couldn’t help but laugh as well. "Miss Wei, I originally thought your husband was just an incompetent loser. Now it seems he might be ntally ill as well. This is no small matter; you should get him to a hospital for a check-up!"

Wei Zixuan’s face flushed crimson, and she imdiately tried to pull Chen Zheng out.

"Chen Zheng, I know Mr. Zhang’s success makes you feel inadequate, but you can’t just make things up!" she said, her tone icy. "Are the provincial leaders people you can casually use for your empty boasts?"

Clearly, even she believed he was just bluffing.

Wei Zixuan knew Dingcheng Group was no match for Zhang Ming’s company. Most importantly, after his group went public, it had gained the support of several major financial consortiums. Their strength was on a completely different level. Chen Zheng must just be upset and boasting to save face.

"You think I’m... jealous of him?" Chen Zheng chuckled and shook his head. My own wife underestimates so much. Who does she think Zhang Ming is? In my eyes, he isn’t even small fry.

"I know you’re trying to salvage our relationship, but let be frank: acting like this only makes lose more respect for you!" Wei Zixuan said coldly. "If you have any regard for what we had, please show so basic decency and leave now!"

Chen Zheng was speechless. "I can leave, but you are not to drink!"

"My affairs are none of your business!" With a look of disgust, Wei Zixuan shot him a fierce glare and turned to go back inside.

Manager Zhao exchanged a few words with Zhang Ming before stepping out and closing the door.

"Sir, if you don’t have a reservation, please leave at once!" An expression of utter disdain crossed Manager Zhao’s face. "And before you go, you’ll need to pay for the glass you broke. Our glassware is all top-of-the-line and quite expensive," he added, looking at Chen Zheng aningfully.

"I’m not leaving. I’m having dinner with Departnt Head Liu in Private Room Ten. You can add the glass to his bill." Chen Zheng shook his head slowly and walked directly toward Private Room Ten.

Manager Zhao froze. Departnt Head Liu is here? Impossible! What nonsense is he spouting?
