The head was human, but the features weren't. There were two pairs of eyes, with one being similar to a human, while the other was Lion's eyes.
The creature thumped its chest and roared at Aakesh, provoking him.
Aakesh recognized the race of the creature since it was a unique creature in the Multiverse.
Unique creatures were those whose number never exceeded one at any point in ti. But unlike other unique creatures, the being in front of Aakesh wasn't a Primordial or soone with high-level blood.
The creature's race was Lizee, and it existed in the Sacred dinsion. The highest power level reached by this race is the mid-levels of cultivation. Unlike other unique creatures, its strength wasn't sothing worth registering in the annals of history.
Aakesh wasn't disappointed after seeing Lizee as his next opponent. Lizee had its own combat technique, so it would at least give so challenge to Aakesh.

The next mont, the bell announcing the start of the first round rang in the area.
The Lizee roared and charged at Aakesh, but it had only raised one of its feet when its body got vertically sliced into two pieces.

The sky and the ground wanted to crush Aakesh between them, but he wasn't going to wait for his death.
Aakesh suddenly stopped his charge. His eyes turned cold as he let go of the saber.

The saber made a clicking sound after its tip touched the battle arena's surface, but then sothing unexpected happened as it continued to fall. Not long after, only the saber's handle remained on the surface.
At that ti, the gap between the sky and Aakesh was almost equal to Aakesh's height. The Lizee, who was several tis taller than Aakesh, seed unaffected by the falling sky.

The Lizee had sensed that if it didn't do anything, it would be the one to end up dead. The creature burned its blood, erupting with a force stronger than ever.
