Chapter 843: The Battle between Archers(1)

The sound of the bell rang in the arena and announced the start of the battle.
Both the opponents didn't seem to be in a hurry to attack as they were both gauging the level of their adversary's skills.
Even though the Cosmic Elf was a peak archery race, the current-level Elf was nothing more than a bug in front of Aakesh. It wouldn't take any effort from Aakesh to end this stage of the battle in a single strike. But Aakesh had other thoughts. It had been a very long ti since he had wanted to battle with this much enthusiasm.
At the sa ti, Aakesh could also see that, for the first ti, the opponent had the sa level of weaponry as he held. He wasn't sure whether the opponent had the sa skills as him, but if it was true, Aakesh couldn't be any more excited.
"I will give you three attacks. If your arrow can even reach the radius of one ter around , I will give you another three rounds," Aakesh suddenly had an idea and he announced.
The Cosmic Elf's eyes grew solemn as she could sense what the other side wanted to do. At the sa ti, there was also a hint of hope in her heart.
Standing at the peak of archery also had its disadvantages. Except for Arjuna, no other creature had co even close to challenging them in the archery domain. The Devas were stronger than them, but they were so powerful that the Cosmic Elves were even less than an ant in comparison to them.
The Cosmic Elf also wanted to feel the joy of archery, and only an even-sided battle could do it. Hoping that her adversary would at least have her enjoy even a short fight, she accepted Aakesh's condition.
At the sa ti, she didn't like Aakesh acting this way with her, so she suddenly said, "If you let enjoy a battle, I will tell you my na."
Even though the appearance was overwhelming, the voice was similar to other Elves, gentle and soft-spoken.
Aakesh only nodded and gestured to the Elf to start the battle.
The Elf got into her position right away. The lower pair of eyes that were earlier closed suddenly opened. She aid the bow at Aakesh using her right hand while stretching the bowstring using her left hand.
She only stopped when the string touched her ears. The next mont, light from the sky began to dim as they started to join the bow to form an arrow.
Since Aakesh had given her three rounds of attack, she used her strongest right from the start.
First, the tail ford, then the shaft, and finally, at the end, an arrowhead shaped like a star appeared.
Soon after the creation of the arrow, the light returned to normal in the battle arena, and she let go of the string.
Whoosh!
The arrow left the bow and approached Aakesh, tearing through the air.
Aakesh seed to not care about the arrow, but when the arrow was just a cm away from completing the distance of one ter between Aakesh and the arrow, Aakesh casually stretched the bowstring and let go of it.
The stretching distance wasn't even half the finger, but suddenly the arrow at the edge of the radius began to disintegrate.
The Elf's eyes grew solemn while her heart pounded louder as she could see that Aakesh hadn't even used a calculable amount of strength, but the wave released from the string went in a straight line and clashed with the arrow. It showed Aakesh's control of his strength and release.
The Elf grew excited thinking about what Aakesh's level would be when he fought at his full strength and skill set. Would he then be able to make her feel the joy of the battle? Her gaze grew hot as she looked at Aakesh.
Aakesh sensed the sudden change in the Elf's eyes. He understood its aning since he had the sa gaze as when Aakesh found that he would be able to battle to his heart's contentnt.
Since the first arrow didn't do anything, the Elf got ready to shoot another one. She used the sa skill as the last ti, but this ti, she used her right hand when she held the string. Her archery skills were almost similar irrespective of what hand she used, but the right hand had a slight edge due to her being able to add more strength into the string.
Whoosh!
This ti the arrow flew slightly faster than the last ti, but the result remained the sa.
Aakesh looked frozen all the ti, but when the arrow was only one cm away from his said limit, he released the string.
The Elf's eyes narrowed as Aakesh used the sa amount of strength as the last ti. Even if she were to calculate it in terms of septillions, the nurical value of the power would remain unchanged.
Her arrow had slightly more power, but the outco was still the sa. As soon as Aakesh let go of the string, the arrow began disintegrating and vanished in no ti.
The Elf could sense that even though the power used and the stretching distance were the sa, there was a change in the release. But her level wasn't high enough to find the difference between the changes.
Ti flew by, and all three of her shots faced the sa result.
Aakesh decided to make his move, and as he had been doing for the past three tis, he casually stretched the bowstring and then let go of it the next mont.
The stretching distance and the power used remained the sa for all four tis. Only the way Aakesh released the arrow changed. The Elf couldn't sense the change due to her low level, but her gaze grew hotter with every clash.
Puchi!
For the fourth ti, when Aakesh repeated the sa thing, the Elf got ready to defend, but before she could do anything, sothing pierced through the center of the area between her four eyebrows.
She lost her consciousness imdiately, and her body crashed into the ground. It was an instant death as the invisible projectile pierced through her brain.
