Boom!
The ground beneath Aakesh's feet suddenly exploded, throwing him into the air. The creature was silently waiting for him there.
It imdiately grabbed Aakesh, ready to rip him into two pieces. Aakesh released whatever energy he had in his body at that mont and unleashed an apocalyptic scene.
The space that had remained stable until now started to crack while the creature got enveloped in fear. For it, Aakesh was a predator at that mont, and it was a simple prey.
Cry!
It imdiately forced that thought out and recovered, but it was too late. A pitch-black energy ball, the size of the battle arena, appeared.
Aakesh's eyes were as cold as hell, and he released the energy ball.
BOOM!
The next mont, an explosion louder than ever rang in the ears of the audience, and a shockwave erupted. The battle arena turned to ashes while Aakesh crashed to the bottom of the several-mile-deep pit.
An uncomfortable feeling struck him after he thoroughly emptied his energy reserves. Aakesh imdiately asked the system for a stone and began to absorb its energy.
After absorbing tens of stones, the uncomfortable headache finally disappeared. Not long after, Halie descended to the ground and looked at him with a shocked expression.
"How did you do it?" She asked. Despite seeing the entire battle, she still couldn't believe the result.
The last attack unleashed by Aakesh was sothing that could even cause a weaker, early Lesser God level cultivator so fear. If she hadn't seen through her eyes, she would never believe that a late True God level cultivator could unleash that power, let alone so peak Divine Lord.
Aakesh responded with an expressionless face and looked around. Since he had won the battle, he should leave the area and return to the building. If he hadn't, it ant the challenge was still active.
Aakesh hadn't even absorbed 10% of his energy, so if the challenge demanded another battle, he would instead use the system's help and leave the building.
Fortunately for Aakesh, nothing of that sort happened, and Aakesh no longer needed to battle. A few monts after Halie, a group of ard guards descended the pit and gave him a ticket, welcoming him to one of the VIP rooms. Even Halie was surprised by that since the VIP rooms had people above Supre God levels.
The power might cause so dread among weaker early Lesser Gods, but it was nothing for the cultivators at the Supre God level and above. They could crush soone like Aakesh in an instant without Aakesh even having the chance to fight back.
Aakesh nodded toward Halie and then followed the guards to their master. He had co there to complete the challenge, so there was no point in him rejecting anyone.
The guards wanted Aakesh to change and even gave him good clothes, but Aakesh pulled out another Dhoti from the system space and wore it, throwing the last one.
After it left Aakesh's skin, the dhoti turned into ashes and disappeared since it had done its part in protecting him.
After Aakesh walked into the VIP room, he found it was bigger than a hotel. There were groups of people sitting at a large table, and as soon as he entered, he beca the center of attention for everyone.
The guards bid farewell and walked out of the room, leaving Aakesh on his own. Aakesh calmly surveyed around the room and saw the people on the table.
There were three hundred of them, and even the lowest cultivation was peak Sacred King, while the highest was peak Sacred Emperor, and that seed to be the master of the room.
On the leader's invitation, Aakesh sat on the only empty chair on the table.
"You surprised us," The leader comnted with a smiling face.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response and waited for the main topic. He had no interest in chitchatting with anyone inside the room.
When the others saw him, they couldn't help but beco even more curious about Aakesh. As Halie had thought, Aakesh was like a bug to them, and they could crush him anyti they wanted.
But looking into Aakesh's eyes, it seed that their cultivation levels didn't matter to him. Only he was the master, while others had no point in existing.
The leader didn't care about Aakesh's expressions since he had called him here to do sothing for him.
"The opponent you killed was one of my pets. I allowed him to join the battle to let him enjoy the thrill of battles, not expecting so monster like you to be its opponent. It didn't die a worthless death," The leader stated.
Aakesh had the sa expression, waiting for the reason. He had a tiline to follow whenever he entered the city.
"That pet had a purpose. Since you have killed it, do you want to fulfill what it needed to do?" The leader asked. His tone contained so hint of majesty as if he wouldn't take a refusal as an answer.
That majesty did not affect Aakesh, and he calmly replied, "What do you want?"
A few minutes later, Aakesh stood outside the VIP room, thinking about what the group wanted him to do. It wasn't so deaning or humiliating task, so he wasn't angry or sad.
It was just that the work was incredibly dangerous and challenging. The battle with the chira was nothing in comparison to that.
But since he wanted to leave, he had to complete the challenge, so he accepted it.
Aakesh had only taken a few steps forward when his eyes fell on Halie, who was waiting for him. When she saw him looking at her, a smile erupted on her face. There was a hint of relief in it.
Aakesh maintained his expressionless face, but he still walked to her. He could see that the woman had no romantic feelings or any other feelings like that for him. She was just too kind toward him due to the arm wrestling contest.
