Chapter 141: Battles
Ti flew by. Around thirty minutes had passed since the event began, and more than 40 participants had already gotten disqualified. They were currently standing on the platform and waiting for the event to end.
Lenna was on the thirty-sixth floor(peak Tao Manifestation). Her opponent this ti was an Elf belonging to the sa clan as her.
When the battle began, she expected it to end early like the earlier battles, but as the fight proceeded, her overconfident appearance broke, and she started taking the battle seriously.
Her cultivation was late Tao Palace, while the opponent Elf was a peak Tao Manifestation, but still, her Tao fruit alone shook her palace.
She finally knew why Aakesh had said, "We'll see," after their group had complained to him.
Every opponent she had faced until now was best of their levels. She hadn't noticed it until now since the power gap between her, and her opponent was very wide, but now that she had faced an Elf at the peak of Tao Manifestation, she finally knew the talent of the opponents.
Since participants could use their weapons in the tower, Lenna took out her bow from her space ring.

The next mont, the sounds of three arrows continuously tearing through the air rang in the area. Unlike the lower floors, the space of the floors after Lenna had crossed the twenty-eighth floor grew wider by hundreds of tis to give ample space to the participants and the opponents for battle.
The sudden arrows coming at him shocked the opponent. He tried to move out of the way, but suddenly the first arrow disappeared, and he found himself bound to the ground.
He had no choice but to face the attack head-on. The next mont, he extended both his hands and the ground around him began shaking as if an earthquake had occurred.
Lenna only smiled, seeing the earth suddenly shaking and then a rock wall coming up at the front of the opponent to defend from her arrows.
Her next arrow clashed with the rock wall, and a loud explosion occurred. Before the opponent could think of sothing else, the third arrow arrived and took his head away.
[Congratulations, you've successfully defeated your opponent on the thirty-sixth floor. Please proceed to the next floor.]
The next mont, the winning announcent rang inside her head, and soon a portal for the next floor appeared.
Lenna took a deep breath, seeing the portal. Since from the next floors, her fights are going to be hundreds of tis more challenging and stressful than this battle.
She then took a step forward into the portal while praying for her next opponent to be soone from the weaker race like Humans, Orcs, Dwarves, etc. The next mont, she disappeared from the thirty-sixth floor and appeared on the thirty-seventh.
Unfortunately, her prayers didn't work, and she got the scarlet wyrm as her opponent.
"Roar!"
Seeing Lenna appear, the wyrm roared in anger.
Lenna suddenly found herself getting knocked back only with the roar of the wyrm. She sohow balanced herself and took out her bow.
The next mont, the wyrm fully stood up, showing its actual size to Lenna.
Wide scarlet eyes sat narrowly within the wyrm, smoothly scaled skull. A single enormous horn sat atop its head just above its eyes.
From its shoulder grew wings even larger than their actual size. The skin of their wings gave an eerie feeling of looking at the frozen blood.
The wings started moving as the wyrm started floating up in the air. Lenna took her aim and shot an arrow, aiming at its heart since the wyrm could live even without their heads. Only their hearts were their weakness.
The arrow flew toward the wyrm while tearing the fabric of space itself. It looked like it would successfully hit the wyrm, but at the last mont, the wyrm suddenly disappeared from its place, and the arrow hit the blank air.
Lenna dodged down right away as she suddenly sensed a danger to her life. The next mont, an energy beam passed through where her head was a mont earlier.
The next mont, the air in the area turned chilly as an angry roar echoed. Lenna looked up and saw the wyrm had his mouth wide open, and energy was gathering there to form a ball.
"Dragon Pulse!" Lenna exclaid in shock, seeing the scene of wyrm gathering energy.
Her face turned pale as Dragon Pulse was a skill that only Immortal wyrms could use. She had never heard of a Tao Palace level wyrm using it.
Dragon Pulse was eighth at the top ten destructive attacks of the Primal dinsion. She never expected to see such attacks in the battle.
If she was able to fly, she could've escaped the attack, but only Level 11 beings were allowed to fly on Visteerna, and since the tower also followed the sa law as Visteerna, she couldn't fly.
She couldn't let herself die this easily after coming so far into the tower, so she raised her bow, stretched the bowstring, and closed her eyes.
The next mont, she started chanting a mantra, and an arrow started appearing from its tail.
Both the wyrms and Lenna beca ready to throw their attack at the sa ti. The wyrm, with a roar, threw the Dragon Pulse at her, and she with determined eyes shot the invoked arrow at the wyrm.
Both the attacks were so powerful that the fabric of space itself was breaking into pieces and was falling down. Several space fissures could be seen in the area.
The crowd outside glued their eyes to the screen to see what would be the result of the clash. Will it be like yesterday where both the participants and the opponents died, or would there be a clear winner today?
What the crowd expected didn't happen. No sound escaped even after the invoked arrow and the energy ball collided. Instead, the arrow disintegrated into pieces right after the collision and gave birth to a black hole.
The black hole tried to suck the entirety of the energy ball, and the ball tried to destroy the black hole itself.
Lenna looked at the scene while using her bow as a support, and the wyrm looked at it while lying down on the ground with its mouth open and gasping for breath.
