Chapter 1217: Suggestion!
After finding the cause of the sudden rise of Higher Gods in other opponent races, Gargi went on a hunt for a solution. She knew she didn't have much ti with her.
As soon as the two injured Higher Gods recovered, she would have to face the combined attack of three Higher Gods, and the result might not be the sa that ti.
Gargi's luck was great, as the first friend she went to gave her a solution. There was only one way to counter the law curse activated due to bad luck, gain enough fortune to trump the bad luck. But it was easier said than done. Luck was an incomprehensible elent that not even the overlords of the Sacred Dinsion could control. She was only an early Higher God, so it was impossible for her.
But then her friend suggested she visit the store and its products. Every action affected the fortune. If she could find a powerful item, that would influence the Turas positively, and similarly, if she encountered sothing troubleso, it would impact the group negatively.
Aakesh nodded after hearing Gargi's side. He was surprised since it was his first ti coming across soone infected by the law curse.
Gargi wasn't the cause of it, or Aakesh would have known. It was easier to solve the law curse affecting a group than an individual. It was an extrely potent power, so when it was concentrated on an individual, it was so intense that it affected others around that person as well. When in a group, every mber of that group took so portion, so it wasn't concentrated.
"You should buy a beast," Aakesh suggested to Gargi.
Pills, skills, and weapons weren't that influential to affect the law curse of a group since Gargi was only a Higher God. If the curse could give enough luck to create three Higher Gods, that it surely wasn't sothing any of the three could cross at the sa level.
Panagea could influence Gargi and hence her race positively, but it was a long-term solution. Who knew whether Gargi and Turas would even survive until they gained enough fortune from Panagea?
Cultivation arts were only up until the True Gods, so they were of no use to her. It only left Beast as the product. It was true that the highest level beast she could get would only be an early Higher God, but another sentient Higher God that knew how to use its power effectively could influence the fortune positively.
After listening to Aakesh's suggestion, Gargi started to ask questions related to the beast. Once she had gotten her answers and was satisfied with them, she thanked Aakesh and then proceeded toward the room, as pointed out by Aakesh.
After she left, Aakesh closed her eyes, beginning another of his relaxation sessions since no custors were approaching him.
When Gargi entered the room, she was awed by the countless murals painted on the wall. Since she was a Higher God, she went to the second device, which had a shorter queue than the first one.
Gargi tried to recognize the beasts from their murals to pass the waiting ti. She spectacularly failed at that, as except for the ones who had gained enormous fa in the Sacred Dinsion, she didn't recognize any of them.
It made Gargi feel even more awed by the store. She had a sense that each beast painted on the walls ca from top races for whom she and her race weren't a match. Seeing so many of them motivated her to reach that stage one day herself.
Ti flew by, and it was finally Gargi's turn to summon.
She didn't imdiately begin but took several continuous deep breaths to calm herself completely. When she had achieved that state, it was then that she pressed the button.
The next mont, the rotation began with a rumble, and soon five seconds had passed. The rotation had stopped, and a beast appeared on the screen.
Gargi didn't recognize the beast on the screen, which was a good sign for her. Not long after, a card ford out of thin air and flew into her hands.
She looked at the card and began to read the details on it. Since Gargi was inside the store, the law curse effect on her had stopped working.
The system didn't play with the fortune of the custors, but since the law curse was negatively affecting her, the system automatically acted, and Gargi's luck returned to a spot where it should have been if not for the curse.
Still, her fortunes weren't that great, as the beast on the card was of the lowest quality. She stepped forward and returned the card. She then returned to the screen and pressed the button.
Since summoning wasn't cheap, Gargi wished to get a suitable beast in that attempt.
Ti flew by.
