Capítulo 771: Chapter 314: Old Grudges

Millions of light-years away from the Barbaric World, in the northwest quadrant of the Golden Crow Sacred Realm, there lies a grand star known as the Great Sun Bright Wheel Star. Vast in size and terrifyingly hot, ferocious Ancient Fire Dragons road within, their thunderous roars resonating; even the Great Powers who have ascended to the stature of Saints dare not approach it lightly.

Yet, deep within this star, where flas leapt and danced fervently, there was an ancient and splendid hall. Though it appeared to be slightly dilapidated, it exuded a grand aura.

This was a palace complex that spanned a hundred miles, all constructed from naless colossal stones. A closer examination of the walls would reveal strange runes, which—if Li Qingming were here—would have surely elicited a stark outcry from him, for they were none other than the Ancient Demon Text, created by the Kunpeng.

At the heart of this construction stood a palace that blazed year-round with the fire of Heavenly Dao Laws. This palace was slightly different from the rest: not only was it more magnificent, but it also subtly exuded an intimidating chill—sothing that should not exist on the Sun Star, yet here it was against all expectations.

They say extre Yang gives birth to Yin, and extre Yin nourishes Yang; this palace was built precisely in the most Yang location on the entire Great Sun Bright Wheel Star, for certain reasons. By a twist of fate, this palace was nad the “Sun Palace”!

In the grand hall of the Sun Palace, a middle-aged man with shoulder-length golden hair, wearing a long golden robe embroidered with an upward howling Three-legged Golden Crow, donning a Purple Gold Crown, and with a small bell hanging from his waist, sat cross-legged on a grand Golden Crow Throne, his brows exuding dignity as his eyes were tightly shut.

Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, shooting out blinding Tao Golden Fla from his pupils, extending a hundred yards in front of him.

So monts later, as the golden flas dissipated, the middle-aged man rose from his throne, gritting his teeth as he murmured lowly, “Li Qingming, Li Qingming… well, well! I thought we would never et again, but now you have delivered yourself to my doorstep! Hmph, this ti, I will make sure you repay every debt you owe !”

He paced around the hall a few tis, then with a sweep of his golden sleeves, he shouted towards the exterior, “Summon the attendants, I wish to et my uncle at the Golden Crow Holy Star!”

An old man with white hair and beard hurried into the hall, bowing respectfully and said, “Yes, Your Highness!”

On the desolate Barbaric Sacred Star, Li Qingming and his companions stood suspended in mid-air, facing them was Golden Crow Red Fla, whose body was weakened, clearly sealed in both True Yuan and Primordial Spirit.

It turned out that as Li Qingming followed the traces left by Chi Yan to find the Barbaric Sacred Star, he discovered that the fellow hadn’t gone far but hid within a nearby teorite Belt, casting an Array to conceal himself.

However, these thods were child’s play to Li Qingquan. After all, the disparity in their Cultivation was apparent. Moreover, with Chi Yan so focused on escaping, unwilling to die needlessly, a few attacks later, he surrendered and was captured by Li Qingquan back to the Barbaric Sacred Star.

“Are you going to confess on your own, or would you rather I personally search your soul?” Li Qingming coolly eyed the motionless Chi Yan and said dispassionately.

Chi Yan glanced sideways at Li Qingming and replied, “You won’t get anything from !”

“Fiesty little brat, still so stubborn at this point. I think you’re tired of living!” Long Xuhu, incensed upon hearing this, lashed out with a kick towards Chi Yan’s body.

“Boom!”

The hapless Chi Yan, unable to move or dodge, was kicked flying ten ters away by Long Xuhu and kept coughing up blood in the distant sky.

“It’s enough, Xu Hu. He’s a dying man; there’s no need to make it harder for him!”

Li Qingming held back Long Xuhu, who was about to step forward and kick him a few more tis, and with a single palm suction, he drew Chi Yan over, too lazy to waste more words with him. He covered his large hand over the top of Chi Yan’s skull, and his imnse Primordial Spirit forcefully entered Chi Yan’s Primordial Spirit Sea.

In the blink of an eye, Li Qingming had arrived in a world filled with boundless light. It was an Immortal Realm with flowing springs and streams, where a vast island enshrouded in roaring flas floated in the azure Heavenly Vault. Upon the island, jade palaces and towers were pervaded by cascading waterfalls and streams, with wisps of purple mist emanating, resembling a heavenly Fire attribute landscape within the flas.

“What a connoisseur of life’s pleasures!” The Dao Body of Li Qingming, ford from his Primordial Spirit, chuckled as clouds ford under his feet, and he soared towards the island below.

Below, amidst the flas, there was a tiny garden filled with Fire attribute immortal flowers and exotic plants, and in the center of the garden was a pavilion carved with dragons and phoenixes.

At this mont, the jade table in the pavilion was fully set with various delicacies, and a middle-aged man dressed in a golden robe with golden hair and eyes was enjoying the flowers and drinking wine, thoroughly at ease.

As soon as Li Qingming landed in the garden, the Golden Robed Middle-aged Man put down his cup and stood up, smiling at Li Qingming, “You’ve finally co. I’ve been waiting for you for a long ti!”

Li Qingming’s brows furrowed slightly, as he had no recollection of ever seeing this man before. However, the faint yet familiar sense of the man’s soul gave him a feeling of déjà vu.

“Are you wondering who I am?” The Golden Robed Middle-aged Man spread his arms wide as if embracing the sky, “I have thought of you for over a thousand years, and almost always I reminisce about your good qualities!”

Li Qingming suddenly trembled all over and after scrutinizing him for a mont, said, “Is it really you? How did you end up like this?”

“It’s all thanks to you!” The Golden Robed Middle-aged Man’s face twisted sardonically, “Back then when we left Pangu’s Great Thousand World, we were unfortunate enough to encounter a Space-Ti Storm. Xi’er took a hit for and went into deep Turtle Breath. For hundreds of years, I’ve been using my Life Force to maintain her vital essence from collapsing. Isn’t that related to you?”

“Hmph, Xi’er’s grievous injuries were all caused by you!” Li Qingming scoffed, “Had you not sided with the Chasing Daoist, would we have gone to the Sun Palace to find you? Had you not acted recklessly, would you have fled Pangu’s Great Thousand World? All of this is the result of your own doing!”

“Shut up!” The Golden Robed Middle-aged Man bellowed sharply, his eyes suddenly blazing with intense flas, “Since I’ve waited here, you can forget about leaving today! I’ll make sure this part of your Primordial Spirit completely dissipates into nothingness!”

Li Qingming sneered, “Even back then, your Cultivation wasn’t as good as mine. Throughout our journey, we fought demons, slaughtered devils, and engaged in countless battles. Are you sure a re soul fragnt of yours can take down securely?”

“How would I know without trying?” The Golden Robed Middle-aged Man roared, suddenly leaping up with the imposing Heavenly Dao Intense Flas rushing down to claim Li Qingming’s life.

The terrifying flas caused the floating island to sway from side to side. All the Fire attribute plants in the small garden transford into a different form, sprouting thorny branches with flowers growing sharp teeth in the center, spewing limitless Sun Essence Fire.
