"By any chance do you have yin-yang constitution?" Elder Lin supported her chin on the top of her hand and looked at Le Fang ling with curious gaze.
"Yes," Le Fang ling nodded her head.
"That is what we found out." She answered her truthfully.
She had nothing to hide after all, so she realized she might as well go all out and say the truth without even feeling she was doings sothing irreversible.
Also, it was her who wanted help from her. Lying and hiding things at this point was equivalent to butchering her own leg with her own hand.
"Oh my," Elder Lin gasped in surprise. Her money was right on mark. The girl indeed had the yin-yang constitution.
"But are you sure that is the real result? I an how accurate is she?" Elder Lin pointed at Nagina who was once again, lazing around on her shoulder.
"Do you trust each and every thing that cos out of her little mouth?" Elder Lin asked her.
Hearing her na being called out, Nagina raised her head abruptly and stared at Elder Lin before turning to look at Le fang ling after realizing what the question was.
Her accuracy was indeed not that high yes, but Nagina was sure she could have never made any mistake when assessing the result of her host.
Especially since she gave her best and even almost used all of her energy to do it.
"Do I trust everything that cos out of her mouth?" Le Fang Ling repeated after her to make sure what she heard was the correct answer.
Elder Lin nodded her head.
Nagina also wanted to hear how much she was trusted by her host. From what she knew, her host did not want to simply rely on her the whole ti to do sothing. She even went to the great lengths of changing her function and making sure she only gave her the relevant information.
'Host, do you trust or do you not?' Nagina had the string desire to know the answer to question despite the fact that she was just a collection of data.
'Do you want to praise you?' Le Fang ling who heard the sound inside her head asked in a surprise at what Nagina was thinking.
'What? You heard what I was thinking?' Nagina had not severed their telepathic connection from before, so her thoughts were still being heard by Le Fang ling and vice versa. The only thing was, Nagina was too occupied by the question Elder Lin was asking Le Fang Ling to notice it.
'Mhmm..' Le Fang Ling nodded her head in agreent.
'I heard everything loud and clear.' Le fang Ling answered with a little chuckle.
Nagina: "…."
'I an even AI have their own emotion okay. We want to get p[raised as well.' Nagina's voice echoed inside her head imdiately.
'Don't think too much about what I said right now. You just answer the question that was asked to you.' Nagina reprimanded Le Fang Ling and imdiately severed the connection.
She did not want another episode of what happened right now, especially when all her emotional data were in a ss.
"Pfft..Okay okay." Le fang Ling could see that Nagina was really embarrassed with the fact she heard her. Nevertheless, she could not bla the little cutie for being embarrassed when she sounded so cute.
Le Fang Ling tried hard to restrain herself from patting her on her head since the situation was a little tense at the mont to be doing cuddling and petting.
anwhile, Nagina was still trying to calm down herself from the incident from before.
'But even if you do not still trust my skill, it's still fine.' Nagina thought to herself.
"That ans I still need to improve for you feel at ease with . I wish you could see as a partner and not just a system that is there as your assistant.' Nagina had this fleeting feeling in her heart which she imdiately swatted away.
Even though their souls were connected, that did not an Le fang Ling and she had to have the sa emotions and favorability towards each other.
She looked like a fool who was clinging on to last thread of hope.
Elder Lin felt the tension in the air as she looked at the youngsters in front of her.
"Did I ask sothing really that hard? Why do they look as if I am asking them to take a marriage vow?" Elder Lin was flabbergasted at this developnt of the story.
Despite the stagnant atmosphere, she decided to wait for them to co to conclusion to her answer. If Nagina was indeed soone that Le Fang Ling had chosen to be with her, it was only fair for them to trust each other and improve accordingly to not be a burden to the other one in the ti of pinch.
An idiot friend was much dangerous than the enemy itself. If either of them could not shoulder the burden of supporting each other and team work, then they would be dood to the point of no return.
As for the spiritual roots thingy, she trusted the speculation of Nagina. She was 99% sure that Le Fangling indeed had yin-yang constituent body and her spiritual roots was five elental spiritual roots.
Yin-Yang was the truth of this whole universe. It ant balance which was the foundation of whole universe.
Normally, while the female had their body made out of yin essence hence resulting in the body of yin constitution, male had yang essence in their body.
It too had variation as there were few people with pure yin constitution and yang constitution alike. While majority had this type of either yin-inclined constitution or yang-inclined constitution in the body, there was always a big but.
In certain aspect in the universe, there were few exceptions and these exception could even go against the heaven itself.
Yin-Yang constitution was a rare case condition when a person could absorb both type of essence.
In other words, having a yin yang constitution was like a direct ticket to the world of cultivation, the path to immortality and of course the dream of humanity; godhood.
But, you could only cultivate if you had the proper manual to it and it was a sad thing to say that no one had ever seen a cultivation manual that could fit the body having yin-yang spiritual root.
'Oof…it is a pain after all.' Elder Lin let out a sigh inwardly. Although she was intrigued by the idea of seeing soone with the rare yin-yang constitution and all, the problem remained with whether she could cultivate fully to utilize its potential or not.
Cultivation was an art of defying the heaven after all.
Elder Lin doubted if that girl had what it took to take the hard path. Also the fact that she had five elent based spiritual roots did not help her at any cost.
'Whatever, I will wait for her to be done, there is no point in trying to claw out my own brain for soone else.' She decided to stop the barrage of thoughts inside her head.
She had taken break of being an instructor in the sect because it was too much of a hassle for her and she just wanted a life of freedom and chilling without having to worry about anything.
So, she just looked at the face in front of her that now had a thin layer of sweat on her forehead as she tried to think an answer to her question.
"Are you hesitating or are you simply trying to ignore my question?" Elder Lin asked Le Fang ling since she could not wait for answer anymore. She did not want to waste the whole morning by just asking a few questions to a young disciple.
"Elder Lin, I am new to all of this," le Fang ling looked at Elder Lin when she finally opened her mouth.
"I am new to cultivation, I am new to having a partner and I am new to living and interacting with so many people around ."
"Then?" Elder Lin wanted her to co to the point without beating round the bush.
"Do not talk in riddles." Elder Lin looked at her with bored eyes. She hated having to sue her brain to solve things that could be said and done easily.
"Say what you want straight to my face when she can hear you." Elder Lin tapped on the desk with her finger as she produced a rhythmic sound.
"Elder Lin, if I had to choose between trusting Nagina or anyone else," She stopped as she tried to phrase the answer she had thought inside her head in a proper way.
Nagina knew it was the ti for her to hear the harsh answer, and so she also readied herself for it. Whatever she was going to hear, Nagina promised herself to take it with a grain of salt.
She was going to stick with Le Fang ling forever even if she did not want her to be with her. Thinking this way made her feel better a lot.
"…It will always be Nagina. There is no one else for in this world." Le Fang Ling answered her with a smile.
Nagina: "//..//
Nagina heard her answer and just simply turned her head away to hide the fact that she was happy with the answer she said.
Yet, her wiggling tail gave her façade away very easily.
Elder Lin: "O.O"
Elder Lin had not expected this answer but she was kind of impressed at the trust she held in that small snake.
"But that doesn't an I am going to blindly follow her like a sheep." She added with a smile.
"We are partners from the mont we t each other." She looked at Nagina and gave a blooming smile.
"And we will be stuck together for life."
