Chapter 744: Chapter 744: Xiao Qi, Are You Also a mber of the Fla Alliance?

Wesker Winery.

When Li Qiao arrived, it was already three quarters past five.

The vast vineyard estate stretched as far as the eye could see, with a row of eye-catching luxury cars parked orderly near the fountain in front of the castle.

Although the winery was located in the suburbs, it never lacked wine connoisseurs.

Li Qiao circled around the fountain, stepped onto the steps of the castle, and unexpectedly bumped into an acquaintance.

The other party was on the phone, one hand in his pocket, standing tall and straight. His gray suit paired with a black overcoat that reached past his knees made him look perfectly elegant in the court-style winery lobby.

“Drive forward, when you see the signpost…”

Before he could finish speaking, he glanced forward casually, and his gaze suddenly froze.

Outside the castle, as the sky gradually darkened, the surrounding night lamps lit up one by one, casting Li Qiao’s slender figure in an especially fragile light.

The man curved his thin lips into a smile and hung up the phone without a second thought.

Li Qiao definitely hadn’t expected to bump into Bo Tingxiao at the British Imperial, but as she took a step forward, the distance between them steadily closed.

At that mont, Bo Tingxiao stood still before her, peering at her cool and delicate brows, and in the next second, raised his hand to stroke the top of her head, “What are you doing here?”

Li Qiao lifted her lips into a smile, her eyes revealing a hint of willfulness, “I’m here to et a friend.”

Bo Tingxiao’s face, usually expressing a masculine indifference, was filled with softness as he shook her top of her head gently with his palm, “Did you co alone?”

“With Shaoyan.” Li Qiao leaned back slightly, brushing his hand away and raising an eyebrow, “Are you visiting the British Imperial?”

As the captain of Myanmar Military’s Special Execution Team and an important mber of the Cabinet Office, it wasn’t anything unusual for him to be visiting British Imperial.

Bo Tingxiao lowered his hand, and in a deep voice characteristic of a mature man said, “No, I’m here on business.”

“Oh.” Li Qiao responded, not pushing further. Her phone in her pocket buzzed again; she took it out to glance at it then looked up, “How long will you be staying in British Imperial?”

“It’s not decided yet.” Bo Tingxiao glanced at her phone screen, his deep eyes filled with a faint doting, “Go ahead with your business for now, we’ll get in touch later by phone.”

Li Qiao looked at his gentle expression; even after not seeing him for a long ti, he was still the dependable brother figure she rembered.

She smiled lightly and nodded, “Okay.”

As they passed by each other, Li Qiao opened WeChat, which displayed the na of the wine room sent by Gu Chenn.

Bo Tingxiao, on the other hand, stood stationary, watching her figure move through the winery hall, his gaze lingering for a long ti.

In the wine room, Li Qiao used the tip of her toe to push open the slightly ajar wooden door. The wine cabinet with its black surround-wall design ca into view, the dim yellow warm light creating a discreet yet opulent atmosphere.

Xi Luo glanced sideways, her gaze lingering behind Li Qiao, “You’ve co at just the right ti, H just left.”

Li Qiao walked to the long table with a nonchalant expression and sat down, crossing her legs and leaning back in her chair, “Have you t already?”

“Yeah.” Gu Chenn swirled his wine glass, a tuft of long hair tied up in a bun at the back of his head, “Seems pretty approachable, but it’s hard to say what he’s really capable of.”

Li Qiao fiddled with her phone, her lashes veiling her gaze, “What’s his background?”

“A powerful tycoon… probably,” Gu Chenn mused, believing his description to be quite fitting. “But he looks familiar to . I feel like I’ve seen him sowhere before.”

The man they spoke of, H, had a mature and steady deanor, an overwhelming presence, and at first glance seed to have the style of a domineering CEO. Yet he couldn’t quite rember where he had seen him…

At this mont, Xi Ze, who had been silent, spoke, “He doesn’t look like a businessman; his hands are too rough, lots of calluses.”

All three turned to look at Xi Ze in unison. He coughed lightly, “What? It’s basic technique for a lawyer to have keen observation skills.”

They all moved their gazes away in silent agreent, Li Qiao glancing suspiciously at Xi Luo, noticing her eyes were heavy and her deanour sowhat gloomy, she asked offhandedly, “Is sothing wrong?”

Xi Luo pressed the base of the crystal glass with one hand, swaying it on the table, “He brought Q with him.”

Li Qiao countered, “So?”

Xi Luo abandoned her cavalier attitude, drew out a cigarette, and placed it to her lips, her whole body exuding a low pressure.

Gu Chenn smiled wryly as he offered an explanation, “She and Q don’t see eye to eye, they had a fight years ago.”

“Oh.” Li Qiao didn’t know Q, her understanding wasn’t much—just knew she was a woman.

Called… Ye Jing.

Just then, clear footsteps echoed from the corridor outside the door.

Xi Luo, elbow on the table, cigarette in hand, kept inhaling and exhaling smoke, her expression haughty and indifferent.

Xi Ze stole several glances, feeling that sothing was likely to happen tonight.

Once his sister wore that expression, soone was usually in for bad luck.

Xi Ze quietly raised his glass to drink, already starting to consider how to side with relatives over reason.

After a mont of silence, the door to the tasting room was pushed open from the outside.

With her back to the door, Li Qiao didn’t see her face clearly, but Bo Tingxiao recognized her silhouette, “Xiao Qi?”

It was indeed him.

After hearing Gu Chenn’s elaboration, she had her suspicions, but had not expected Bo Tingxiao to be Fla Alliance H.

Li Qiao looked over with a soft smile, “Brother Xiao.”

Bo Tingxiao rarely showed surprise as he looked around at the few people at the table, “You and them…”

Gu Chenn was about to utter “Fla Alliance K” but Li Qiao stole the initiative with a calm and unhurried interjection, “A casual acquaintance, just ca to say hello.”

With that said, the woman next to Bo Tingxiao furrowed her brows and waved her hand in front of her, “The sll of smoke is strong.”

Li Qiao and the others imdiately turned to look at her, Fla Alliance Q.

The woman wasn’t tall, around the sa age as Xi Luo, twenty-seven or twenty-eight, dressed in a long gown with a jacket over it, black long leather gloves covering her forearms, a very stylish outfit.

Fla Alliance Q, neither as flamboyantly delicate as Li Qiao nor possessing the intellectual feminine charm of Xi Luo, had a black straight ponytail that made her look innocent yet slightly capable.

Li Qiao intentionally concealed her identity because the arrival of Fla Alliance Q, Ye Jing, was unexpected.

At this mont, Xi Luo continued to puff away at her cigarette, self-satisfiedly scoffing, “There’s no sll of smoke on the main road.”

Ye Jing’s gaze swept over Li Qiao’s face before settling on Xi Luo. She chuckled softly, “I thought soone didn’t understand the rules of the winery, turns out it’s M Sister.”

Xi Luo flicked her cigarette ash, her smile sardonic, “Don’t pretend to be familiar; you know who’s older.”

It was clear, these two really didn’t get along.

Bo Tingxiao took a seat with Ye Jing, his gaze subtly observing Li Qiao’s reaction, “Xiao Qi, are you also part of the Fla Alliance?”

Ye Jing paused in the act of removing her gloves, glancing at Li Qiao with a graceful look, “She shouldn’t be. I’ve t all the people from the Fla Alliance.”

The presumption of her tone, not just Li Qiao but even Gu Chenn felt a touch of irritation.

The mbers of the Fla Alliance indeed had the right to be assertive, but facing the most mysterious Fla Alliance K, maybe you could be a bit more humble?

Gu Chenn scratched the bun at the back of his head and looked up challengingly at Ye Jing, “K you’ve t?”

Ye Jing furrowed her brows, thoughtfully remarking, “Hmm, we didn’t really interact much.”

“Didn’t interact much…” Gu Chenn repeated her choice of words, “So, you’ve spoken?”
