Diane looked at Clarissa, and her eyes slightly widened in surprise as she saw Clarissa’s hair turning white from the scalp down to the tip with what looked like an ice halo hovering over her head. Okay, it looked more like a crown, and in her hands manifested a bow made of ice.

"If it’s from here," she huffed slowly, cold breath escaping from the corners of her mouth as she began to draw her bow. "I’m sure I can do sothing." She said and three arrows of light ford on the bow.

She placed her leg on the window, and drew the arrows long and hard, aiming for the orange gate.

She poured all her mana into it, hoping to create an iceberg big enough to block the gate.

Though, it might not last long, it should be enough to give the awakeneds so ti to take care of the monsters on the ground and treat the wounded.

"I might not be as powerful as Alice," she said, her icy white gaze turning to them. "But I’m confident in my own strength."

She released the arrows, and they hit the entrance of the orange gate, causing a huge explosion that caught most of the monsters around and created a huge and thick iceberg covering the entire orange gate.

They stared in shock and Diane laughed.

"Now, that’s one hell of an attack," she said and looked at Clarissa who huffed once more, letting the ice bow disintegrate. "You’ve got one killer skill, girl; I’m impressed."

"Thank you," Clarissa said. "And now, they don’t have to worry about the monsters and focus on the injured." She glanced at her classroom, which was frozen, and her friends, who were shivering.

It seed like she overdid it.

"I’m sorry," she said, suddenly acting frantic. "I didn’t know I would freeze the classroom too."

"It’s... It’s okay," Lance said though he was shaking to his boots. "W-w-we u-u-underst-and."

His teeth were shaking too much, and he sneezed.

"What a bunch of wimps," Diane, who didn’t seem to be affected by the cold, said, and fire erged in her gauntlet. "Watch out, I’m gonna roast ya," she said and literally set the entire class on fire.

But because it was all covered in ice, it did burn. Rather, just the ice lted and everywhere got wet.

"Thank you," Steph said and sneezed.

"Take care," Maki said to her.

Diane looked towards Alice’s seat and noticed that neither the ice nor the fire got to her. Leo had put up a barrier to cover him, Alice, and Damian, who was sitting next to them.

’Jeez, it would’ve been nice if he did that for everyone.’

The people down below were surprised by this attack, but it was in their favor, and it increased their morale.

The ice barricade was so huge and sturdy that the monsters couldn’t even break it in order to get out of the gates. Their attempts to break it down only caused the earth beneath their feet to tremble, causing tremors all around but there was still no sign of the ice breaking.

And because of this, it gave them enough ti to go about their plans one more ti and take care of the monsters that were left, charging fearlessly toward them.

Instead of getting disoriented and wondering where that attack ca from, Devon acted like the leader he was and started organizing everyone, prioritizing the injured and those who could no longer continue while fighting off the remaining monsters and buying everyone so ti.

But he did glance towards the window where the ice blast ca from, and for certain, he knew that so students hadn’t evacuated, and his hunch was telling him that among those students was Alice.

Though she might’ve not been the one to fire that shot, since she didn’t exactly use any elental powers, she was definitely there.

But he wouldn’t be too surprised if he found out later that she could indeed use the power of the elents. After all, she was the impossible herself.

No one could move people to act like that despite fearing the situation besides her. Even in her sleep, she was definitely capable of making people want to move forward and do what she would’ve done, and that was why his blood was boiling in such a crisis.

He was pumped up and ready to show what he’s made of, while she was in close range. He was an S-class, after all, so this little was nothing to him.

Well, at least it was safe within the building. And she didn’t need to intervene in sothing like this. They were awakened so they could do fine on their own.

They couldn’t always rely on her help to eradicate the monsters. Even the big guys weren’t joining in. The chairman and the leader of the agency weren’t intervening in this fight and that must be because they knew the situation was manageable.

"Maki, we should help out too, don’t you think?" Steph asked and this caused Diane to wonder if they had yet another two ice princesses.

"Hm, do you think so?" Maki thought about it and smiled. "I guess from this distance, it should be fine."

Diane watched, and what she thought was their ’friendship bracelet’ transford into a riffle that sharpshooters used to snipe targets.

Lance imdiately whistled at the sight of it and Diane wasn’t left out of that surprise either

"Oh my, would you look at that?" She was impressed. Those riffles were beautiful in her eyes. ’Just look at that smooth skin, the chanism is no joke, I can tell. And just look at that precision of the target. I wish I had one of those but I’m not talented enough to use them. Let simply watch as they use this masterpiece,’

Those snipping rifles were made with special sturdy materials found in the dungeons that could contain mana of any level without getting destroyed.

They also used mana-powered bullets, created from one’s very own mana, and the destructive nature ca from how powerful their mana was.

"I guess this will be our first ti taking on real monsters," Steph said as she positioned her riffle on one window, and Maki positioned hers on another to give each other enough space.

It was as if they were hired snipers. The vibes they were suddenly giving off were rather different from their warm, cheerful smiles from before, and it got Diane wondering.

"Let’s see who gets the most kills, okay?" She said and pulled back the bolt, making a rather satisfying sound to Diane’s ears.

She watched her put in the bullet she had conjured with her mana.

"Will that be enough?" Diane asked and she nodded.

"It’s plenty," she said. "I just need to load it with one and I’ll have at least a hundred bullets to spare."

That seed to be a rather special way of using mana and whoever their teacher was, they definitely thought them well. Or... Were they simply talented?

"I’m taking the first shot," Maki said, smiling excitedly as she peered her gaze into her scope, the magnifying glass that allows her to see the target at a closer view and get a headshot.

But just as she was about to pull the trigger, she hesitated. That monster... Looked scary.
