The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat! Chapter 34: Ah, so we playing soccer now, eh?
"Hehe." Alice snickered and raised her hamr.
*Alice, what are you doing?*
"Making a grand entrance." She said and charged into the door with her hamr, smashing it and creating a ruckus. "Oh honey," she smirked devilishly. "I’m ho."
But the mont she expected sothing to happen, nothing happened.
The place she barged into was like a gigantic hall. She could practically hear her voice echoing for miles.
"Hm, did I arrive too early?" She asked. "Hello!" She yelled. "Is anyone ho?" She started swinging her legs forward, walking nonchalantly into the hall while looking around. "Big scary, intimidating demonnnn," she sang. "I’m here to challllengeeee you."
The pitch of her voice kept going up and down and of course, it echoed.
She paused, placed her hand on her waist while the other held on to her hamr.
"Hm, are we on the right floor?"
*Don’t ask . I’m as confused as you.* The voice said.
Alice decided to keep looking around.
"Ugh, the place being dark isn’t helping matters at all." She exclaid.
If not for her third eye that could see through anything, she might’ve remained in one spot, hoping soone turned on the lights or torches at least.
"Well, this is disappointing." She said. "You think it ran away?"
*That’s not possible.* The voice said. *Demons are extrely proud beings. They wouldn’t run away just because they may co face to face with a mighty foe. They would rather risk it than run with their tails between their...*
The sudden tremor coming from the ground stopped the voice from speaking.
There was finally sothing, after waiting for so long.
Then, Alice saw a giant rock ball rolling towards her.
You know, like when you step on a moving floor in a spooky and mysterious cave and then activate a booby trap.m where a giant rock ball rolls towards you and you have to run in order to save your life.
That was exactly what was going on but in this case... Alice didn’t step on any booby trap and there was more than enough room.
The ball was rolling towards her, probably aiming to knock her off her feet, but Alice wasn’t exactly in the mood for boring tricks, so she stepped aside, and the ball rolled past her.
She turned her neck, watching the ball roll till it hit the wall.
*Alice, in front of you!* The voice warned right away but before Alice could turn to see what it was talking about, a giant foot kicked her and sent her flying.
She crashed into the wall, breaking it in the process, and hit another wall behind it, also breaking that one, but stopped there.
"Ah, so we playing soccer now, eh?" She asked, sitting gallantly on the debris. She slowly got up and dusted her bottom. "But I believe, you kicked the wrong ball, you giant lump of clay."
In front of her was a statue. A giant man statue was staring at her with hollow space for eyes.
It looked a lot like a gladiator. You know, those muscular n that fought in ancient Greek arenas with nothing but waist cloth around their waist, entertaining the people and royalty included.
"Damn, did anyone tell you? Read my lips. You are ug-a-ly!" She said and stood straight, raising her hand to give it the middle finger. "And, I don’t like you, so co at ."
Even after breaking those thick walls, Alice had not a single scratch on her. In fact, she didn’t even feel the impact at all.
The statue, probably offended at being called ugly and the middle finger she was shoving at its face, started running toward her, causing the ground to shake at each heavy step it took.
’Yes, that’s it. Co to .’ she thought, smirking. ’You took on unaware just now. But now, I’m ready for you.’
The statue raised his hands, interlocked them together, and planned to pound Alice to the ground, but she raised her hand and stopped its attack.
It struggled to push her down, but Alice was unwavering. She even had ti to blow her nails and take a good look at it.
"Hey, I think the monster at did a number on my nails as well." She said.
*Just deal with the statue.* The voice said.
Alice looked up at the statue that was confused as to why it wasn’t able to push Alice down even a little bit.
"What? Shocked? I told you." She gripped its stony hand hard, her fingers digging deep into them. She stretched out her other hand, summoning her hamr. "I’m ready for you."
Her hamr heeded her summon and flew towards her. She caught it, pushed the statue back, and took her stance, ready to bash its head in.
The statue was still confused about how such a tiny human, in comparison to its size, was able to push it back.
But before it could recover and actually do anything, Alice dashed towards it with her hamr and destroyed its head, down to its body.
The statue crumbled, broken to pieces.
"Hah, and I didn’t even break a sweat." She said and raised her gaze devilishly. "Shall we continue?"
In front of there were several other huge statues, coming at her.
"Let’s play a ga called bash their heads in." She laughed maniacally and charged for them, breaking them to pieces, one by one.
If this were before, she most certainly would’ve struggled with just one. Maybe she might’ve even lost at the beginning.
But not now. She was way too powerful to be stopped by so stone statues.
They might be durable and partially unbreakable but in the face of true strength, they were like glass, ready to be shattered.
"Hah, I guess I’m done here." She said, hanging her hamr on her shoulder. "So, will you co out or do you want to force you out?" She asked.
But there was no response.
"Really? You want to force you out? I won’t go easy on you if I do. I’ll make your death very painful and agonizing, so better do yourself a favor and get the fuck out of your hiding place, you demon!"
