Chapter 187 Mission Failed
“We are all in this together. If we can’t leave here together, I would rather die with you,” Wang Feng said with a wry smile, then he raised his rifle and shot a foreign soldier.
“To complete the mission is what really matters, captain. If you died here too, then all our sacrifices would be aningless. I’m begging you, leave!” Duan Yi said earnestly.
After what he said, other team mbers started to ask Wang Feng to leave too. Wang Feng could also hear that Zhong Xiaoqian and Dongfang Yu’er were telling him to leave.
There was no doubt that if Wang Feng escaped alone, no one could ever catch or kill him. But when he saw that all the soldiers in his country were fighting so hard and in danger, how could he just run away?
If he did escape, he would spend the rest of his life blaming himself. He couldn’t bear it.

Wang Feng was running out of bullets. And he couldn’t do it with his bare hands, so he ended up saying sorry in his heart. Then he picked up the satellite phone and pressed a red button on it.
The button was a distress signal which ant that they were all killed. What the young officer said at that ti was that if they were going to be killed, they could press the button and soone would take action to help them.
At the mont, although they had not been completely wiped out, with the current situation, Dongfang Yu’er and the others would be killed sooner or later.
So, Wang Feng had to take matters into his own hands for the sake of their lives. But if he pressed that button, it would an the end of their mission.
It didn’t matter if he couldn’t join the Dragon Spirit Squad. As long as he could save their lives, nothing else would matter.
“Hang in there, soone will co for us soon.” Wang Feng said, putting the satellite phone back on.
“Wang Feng, don’t worry about us. We can’t hold on any longer,” Zhong Xiaoqian’s voice ca over the phone, making Wang Feng’s worry that sothing might have happened.
“Where’s Duan Yi?”
“He is dead,” Zhong Xiaoqian said, completely shocking Wang Feng.
Another man was dead and it was his assistant.
“What about Dongfang Yu’er?”
“She is also already...” Zhong Xiaoqian couldn’t finish her words anymore and started crying.
That ti, Wang Feng was really petrified. He couldn’t help but stagger; he couldn’t believe that she would die.

Wang Feng couldn’t hear any screams. He was so overwheld with fatigue. He took so many bullets in the back that he collapsed behind the rock, lying in a pool of blood.
That ti, the mission was completed, but failed. Almost all the people who went there were dead. They didn’t even rush to the excavation site, so they never knew what the national treasure was.
