Capítulo 910: Chapter 910: Let’s Begin

Jade City.

Addison seed to sense sothing and suddenly awoke from her slumber. The next mont, black mist poured in from outside, slowly taking the shape of a crow within it.

Addison carefully observed the crow’s eyes, as if absorbing the scene it had witnessed.

Once she realized what had happened, her expression turned rather peculiar.

After a while, she let out a low chuckle and said,

“That boundary breaking that adults couldn’t research yet coincidentally matched with the Otherworld by Scarlett Jennings and the others?”

If that gentleman knew, how furious would he be?

Her smile shifted, and she couldn’t help but hum softly,

“Magnolia Hearne is quite lucky; even a casually born daughter of hers has such luck.”

Unable to decipher her emotions, Addison simply got up and walked out of the room.

Upon leaving, she ran into Elias Quinn, who was ditating in the living room.

Elias half-opened his eyes, glancing over her sports bra and shorts from her sleep, and reminded her expressionlessly,

“Dress properly, or get out of my house.”

Addison raised an eyebrow, “Is it my figure that’s unappealing?”

Elias remained expressionless, his gaze sweeping over the few black holes torn in her body,

“It’s the holes on your body that are unsightly, dirtying my eyes.”

He paused, then lifted his gaze again and said,

“Although I have cooperated with Ghost Fog, that doesn’t an I’m on the sa side as you. Since you’re fine, leave as soon as possible.”

Addison shrugged,

“But I have nowhere else to go. You know I just returned from the Otherworld last year, and there’s no place for in Ghost Fog anymore.

Now that the headquarters is destroyed and the gentleman is missing, I’m no longer part of Ghost Fog.”

She said, leaning closer to Elias,

“How about I stay? Maybe the two of us can do sothing together.”

Elias glanced at her, refusing without hesitation,

“Not needed.”

He was a Heavenly Path Envoy, and his last cooperation with Ghost Fog was purely for mutual benefit.

Now that Ghost Fog is no more, Addison holds no value in his eyes.

But if Addison could be easily dismissed, she wouldn’t have stayed here after escaping from the Azure Sea.

With Ghost Fog’s headquarters destroyed and her mission a failure, sticking by Elias was the only way to conceal her location from that gentleman and the Security Bureau.

So, at Elias’s place, she awaited.

A week passed.

In the week before the one-month deadline agreed upon with Samuel Chalrs, Scarlett Jennings and the others finally confird the sea barrier plan.

Before this, the Mystical Council had already voiced their dissatisfaction with Samuel Chalrs for the third ti due to the delay in the original plan to cleanse the pollution.

Samuel paid no heed to this.

During another eting between the two sides, an elder from the Mystical Council brought it up again, and Samuel simply said,

“A month ans a month. If you bring this up to waste my ti again, the Mystical Council will dissolve on its own.”

With that, he left with Simon.

Though no fight broke out this ti, the elders of the Mystical Council were enraged enough.

“Such a significant matter is haphazardly entrusted to a makeshift ensemble that hasn’t even properly graduated from Taoism Academy. This is utter nonsense.”

“Clearly, the Dragon Vein handling this could solve the issue, yet it’s being indefinitely postponed. What is he thinking?”

Isn’t the very existence of the National Protection Dragon Vein ant to resolve these troubles for us?

The leading elder, noticing the dissatisfied expression of the person next to him, calmly gestured for patience,

“Since that’s the intention, further debate is pointless. Only a week remains, so let’s just wait and see.”

He paused, then added,

“That gentleman has just awakened for a month. It’s indeed not worth depleting his energy for the pollution of another country. If there are other ways, it’s no harm trying.”

Another person said,

“But these so-called other thods involve sealing the pollution within the Flower Country. Once Flower’s Masters learn of it, trouble is inevitable.”

The leading elder remained composed,

“Let them cause a commotion.”

Scarlett Jennings and the others were unaware of the Mystical Council’s opposition, but even if they did, it wouldn’t matter to them.

According to the tiline, Scarlett and Ashton Todd’s group directly proceeded to the Azure Sea, the sea boundary between Cathay and the Flower Country.

Encircling the entire Flower Country in such a short ti was impossible, so Scarlett’s initial plan was to erect a barrier from the sea.

Moreover, this barrier would only be set up within Cathay’s mariti territory, not entering Flower’s waters. Even if Flower’s magicians eventually learned the truth, they couldn’t rashly cross the border to dismantle their barrier.

Accompanying Scarlett Jennings’s group was a stabilizing artifact provided by the Security Bureau.

Though Scarlett and the others could devise a thod for the barrier, collecting enough stabilizers to support it was impossible on their own.

Establishing such a large barrier couldn’t rely solely on their group.

Thus, Scarlett, using the Security Bureau’s na, directly invited three Taoism Academy deans and several family elders to assist.

The group appeared at the Azure Sea in formidable fashion. The brother and sister Harrison Ward and Noah Zimrman, having mostly recovered under the care of Nathan White and others, rushed to the location upon receiving the news.

After all, today was ultimately for them.

Everyone stood upon the massive back of Benedict Beast, heading toward the designated Array Eye locations following Ashton Todd’s group’s arrangents.

Upon reaching the destinations, Spiritual Affairs Communication sent the predetermined three stabilizers to the specified spots.

Ashton Todd was accompanied by Stella Gibson and Greta. She specifically requested to be in Ashton’s group, mainly fearing he might ss up.

Sure enough, upon arrival, Ashton’s hands were trembling while setting up the array, prompting her to pat him,

“What are you doing?!”

Ashton glanced at her, his hands shaking but his eyes bright,

“I’m nervous. This is my first ti helping set up such a large barrier.”

Besides nervousness, he felt excitent.

If this succeeded, he’d be the pride of their orphanage!

The Security Bureau couldn’t help but recruit him in advance.

At that ti, he might have to consider. It couldn’t be an imdiate yes.

The Security Bureau had to offer so “benefits” for him to agree.

Ashton thought things through, while at the Azure Sea, Scarlett Jennings looked at the Benedict Stone Body delivered by Spiritual Affairs Communication, unable to help glancing at their dean.

“This is Benedict’s intention.”

The old dean said, “Since it cannot stabilize the sea using its true form, this stone body once carrying its spirit can act as its stand-in.”

Although the stone body isn’t as effective as the true form,

with other stabilizers, it should suffice.

More importantly, this way, Benedict doesn’t need to dismantle the Three Mountains and Five Peaks, remaining eternally subrged in the icy sea to suppress the pollution.

Just as Scarlett prepared to set up the formation, many rfolk suddenly erged on the sea surface around Benedict’s true form.

Though Benedict had temporarily suppressed the pollution underwater these days, and Samuel Chalrs actively cleared so areas.

The stains of pollution tarnishing them weren’t as severe, but Scarlett could still discern the traces of healed marks on their skin.

The originally beautiful bodies bore nurous scars, rely looking at them aroused compassion, not to ntion the other Sea Clan mbers in the surrounding ocean, long afflicted by pollution.

The rfolk surfaced and simply watched without speaking, with Noah Zimrman stepping forward, saying,

“The clansn know what you’re about to do and wish to witness it firsthand.”

He paused, addressing Scarlett with choked sincerity and earnestness,

“Master Jennings, we entrust you all.”

Scarlett nodded seriously at him and all the rfolk surfacing,

“Rest assured.”

With that, she turned to the old dean, simultaneously activating Spiritual Affairs Communication to inform comrades setting up formations at other locations, and clearly said,

“Let’s begin.”
