Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Failure to Eliminate Resentful Energy Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Failure to Eliminate Resentful Energy Micah Quigley listened to Delilah Woods word by word, with disbelief written all over his face.
“Impossible…”
He had always thought that she liked him. Although she never admitted it, aren’t all girls like that?
In those campus idol dramas, aren’t the male and female leads always like that?
Micah had always taken for granted that their love was just a campus idol drama.
But in Delilah Woods’s eyes, it was nothing more than a desperate case of campus bullying.
So-called campus idol drama was just a beautification of cri.
Only those truly experiencing bullying knew how despairing it was.
Watching the “greatly impacted” expression of Micah Quigley, Delilah could only find it utterly ridiculous.
She lowered her head, letting tears fall.
At that mont, she finally made a decision in her heart.
“I’m going to sue you.”
Delilah gritted her teeth, her voice hoarse yet firm,
“For what you did to in the past, forcing yourself on against my will… I’m going to sue you…
Micah, both you and Isolde Garrison, I’m going to make you pay for what you’ve done…”
This ti, she wouldn’t be afraid anymore.
Beside her, Delilah’s mother was already in tears, turning to embrace her daughter tightly.
“Delilah, Mom supports you. No matter what you want to do, Mom will be with you!”
She would sue them. Those who had hurt her daughter should all face justice!
Lucas Jennings didn’t know Delilah Woods. He wasn’t even aware of what brought Scarlett Jennings here today.
But that didn’t stop him from getting in on the drama.
The explosive information he gleaned from their words completely shocked his worldview.
Even his unreasonable self from before could hardly imagine that soone could be so shaless!
In an instant, he fiercely kicked the scumbag’s leg, turning his head to Delilah Woods,
“I support you too! Sue him! If money’s tight, I’ll pitch in! If I’m not enough, there’s my sister, my brother! My uncle, little lady, don’t be afraid, sue him to the end!”
For the first ti, Lucas’s blood was boiling, even for a complete stranger, he decided to involve himself in this.
Delilah, with reddened eyes, turned to Scarlett Jennings, who had remained silent all this while, and said hoarsely, but with determination once again,
“Scarlett, I want to sue them…”
eting Delilah’s determined gaze, Scarlett Jennings knew she had made her choice.
A gentle smile appeared, and she said softly,
“Just go ahead and sue. No one will easily harm you anymore.”
Because this ti, she would stand by her and protect her.
That day, Lucas imdiately called his dad to get the contact information for the Jennings Group’s legal team.
Gathering evidence, filing a lawsuit, and even dredging up comnts from a year ago when Delilah was attacked online, identifying the orchestrators behind the trolls that terrorized her.
Simultaneously, Isolde Garrison’s confession recording was posted online.
Accompanied by a lawyer’s letter, the year-old unwed pregnancy and suicide case of a female student was brought to light again, sparking a new wave online.
Micah Quigley and Isolde Garrison faced wave after wave of online trial after the truth was revealed, but these are stories for another ti.
On one side, Lucas was raring to go to seek justice for Delilah Woods.
On the other side, a small accident occurred with Scarlett Jennings.
Standing at the Jennings Family’s villa gate, Scarlett Jennings looked at the familiar black hat and black pants, expressionlessly taking the familiar box from his hand.
“You said the resentnt can’t be eliminated?”
The guy in the black hat nodded, “That’s the feedback we got; the item has been safely returned. Thank you for using our Spiritual Affairs express service.”
After saying this, the guy in the black hat quickly walked away.
The butler specifically chased after him, calling out a couple of tis, but couldn’t stop him.
“Why did he leave so soon? I just needed express service.”
The butler muttered, then looked at Scarlett Jennings and asked,
“But miss, which express service did you call? I don’t think I’ve heard of it before?”
Scarlett, still glaring at the box in her hand, wasn’t in the mood to explain, only nodding vaguely,
“Yeah, it’s normal you haven’t heard of it.”
With that, she turned and went back to her room with the box.
After putting the box down, Scarlett imdiately called the other side to angrily demand a refund.
She had spent eight hundred thousand to eliminate the resentnt, only to have it returned to her in the exact state.
Scarlett found herself in an unusually difficult position.
After all, if she couldn’t eliminate the resentnt from the Resentful Spirit, she could only annihilate it.
But she had promised Delilah Woods and her mother before.
She would try her best to eliminate the resentnt without resorting to the last ans.
Now, what other thod could eliminate this strange resentnt from the Resentful Spirit?
Scarlett pondered while rummaging through various talismans she carried, trying to find a thod amongst them.
Perhaps she was too engrossed to notice when Pretty Hamilton approached closer.
The little fox gracefully jumped onto the table, its furry paw pawing at the box,
then pawing again.
By the ti Scarlett realized it, Pretty had already nudged the box to the table’s edge.
Her almond eyes glared, “Pretty Hamilton!”
Her low shout didn’t stop Pretty Hamilton, who had already swatted the box off the table.
With a thud, the box abruptly fell onto the carpeted floor.
“Pretty Hamilton! Do you think you’re a cat?!”
Acting like one, pushing things around!
Scarlett wanted to reprimand this little mischief-maker, but she picked up the box from the floor first.
Fortunately, the box was specially sealed and wouldn’t break easily from a fall.
As Scarlett thought this, a crack suddenly appeared on the box.
Soon, the crack rapidly spread.
The next mont, resentful energy erupted from the crack.
Even Scarlett, who reacted quickly, almost got hit by the resentnt.
Instinctively, she threw the box away and simultaneously flung a Yellow Talisman.
Just as she was about to seal the resentful energy, it unexpectedly exploded when colliding with the Yellow Talisman.
“Boom!”
The explosion imdiately startled everyone inside the villa.
Scarlett couldn’t worry much, watching the box shatter and the spirit wrapped in resentnt burst out of the room, flying straight outside.
Scarlett’s expression changed, grabbing her bag quickly chasing after it.
Seeing the spirit move with incredible speed, dodging her Yellow Talismans several tis, it zigzagged erratically within the community, soon seemingly finding a target, it dashed in a particular direction.
Upon seeing the familiar figure in the direction the spirit raced toward, Scarlett’s expression drastically changed, swiftly rushing over,
“Samuel Chalrs! Get out of the way!!”
Hearing the yell, the person turned around, instinctively raising his hand as a mass of black energy rushed toward him.
Grasping the mass of black energy directly in his palm.
