Chapter 475: Chapter 475: Drinking the Sa Milk Tea

Samuel Chalrs sat inside the car, and the accompanying photographer dared not point the cara inside it.

Since even the director had to handle him cautiously, they dared not offend him easily. The accidental shot of the princess carry from last night was already a stroke of luck.

Inside the car, Samuel Chalrs listened to Director Clark and rely nodded before turning to Scarlett Jennings, saying, “I’ll co to pick you up after it’s over.”

Scarlett Jennings hadn’t quite processed Director Clark’s words yet and was montarily startled by what she heard.

Even though she had emphasized on the way here that she was fine, the big shot obviously didn’t think so.

Lately, Samuel Chalrs seed particularly fond of “picking her up”?

But then again, considering Samuel Chalrs’s serious and responsible attitude even when acting, Scarlett Jennings felt relieved and nodded to the person in the back seat, “Okay.”

Since their identities were already tacitly made public, wasn’t picking her up perfectly normal?

Scarlett Jennings wasn’t very concerned about such minor details.

Once the car drove away, Scarlett Jennings followed Director Clark to the venue rented by the show crew,

where Gregory Xander and other guests were already in place.

When Scarlett Jennings arrived, Ariel Zimrman was the first to run over, giving her a warm hug, then excitedly asking about last night’s events.

“Scarlett, I heard you got hurt last night. Are you okay?”

As she spoke, she inspected Scarlett Jennings up and down, finally gripping Scarlett’s bandaged hand with so distress,

“You really got hurt! It’s wrapped in bandages; it must hurt a lot, right?”

Scarlett Jennings shook her head and simply said, “It doesn’t hurt.”

Because the wound had already healed.

The reason she still kept the bandage on was to avoid letting people find out how quickly her injury had healed.

Ariel Zimrman hearing her say “it doesn’t hurt” without a second thought took it as her putting up a brave front and imdiately disagreed,

“How could it not hurt when there’s bleeding?”

Saying that, she rarely adopted a serious tone to teach her,

“When it hurts, you should express it directly, letting others know you’re in pain. If you don’t, people will assu you’re truly not in pain and will likely hurt you again next ti, thinking you should bear all responsibilities and protect everyone.”

Ariel Zimrman was clearly speaking with underlying aning, and the viewers in the live broadcast room were sowhat confused.

However, Gregory Xander and Evander Simpson were aware of her reasons for saying such things.

Since this morning, after handling so matters and coming back, she had them cornered, demanding to understand last night’s incident.

Evander, with no way to fend off her inquiry, picked out what he could and briefly told her the situation that happened in the Ghost Realm last night.

Evander didn’t ntion there were players with intentions of letting Scarlett Jennings die in the Ghost Realm but only said those people wanted Scarlett to stay in the Ghost Realm in exchange for their freedom.

Even so, it was enough to make Ariel Zimrman indignant and angry.

After holding it in for the whole morning, she chose to vent it in front of the audience in the live broadcast room only when Scarlett Jennings returned.

Scarlett Jennings, upon seeing Gregory Xander and Evander’s expressions, had a vague understanding of Ariel’s insinuated aning, softened her heart slightly, and instinctively followed her lead, pretending to furrow her brow and said,

“It does hurt a bit.”

Ariel then comforted her like an elder sister and led her to the nearby refreshnts table, picking out a cup of milk tea and a small cake for her.

Only then did Scarlett Jennings notice the abundant food at the venue today; besides drinks, there were various desserts filling several tables, even equipped with special stickers.

“Have so sweets, they’ll help replenish your blood.”

Ariel pointed at the milk tea in her hand and the desserts on the table, “These were all sent by your fans in support.”

As she spoke, she pointed to the other tables, “Those were sent by my and Sebastian’s fans.”

Since today marked the last episode of the program, fans from different sides had sent supportive gifts, even Gregory Xander had received so. Director Clark hoped for a good conclusion and decided to put all the support items on display.

Viewers in the live broadcast room were touched seeing Ariel helping Scarlett choose the milk tea and cake.

[Ahhh, our girl picked up our milk tea! We had been worried she wouldn’t eat or would feel embarrassed eating on the live broadcast, yet Ariel directly handed it to her!]

[Thanks to Angel Ariel for letting our girl know of our love for her!]

Scarlett Jennings’s fans watching the live broadcast were very pleased; seeing the idol use the items they sent was undeniably a joy.

The host, seeing this, also called other guests to select so food and drinks, declaring that everyone could take it easy during the interaction segnt of the final episode.

The several guests imdiately laughed and cheerfully went to choose milk tea and drinks, drinking them right in front of the cara.

Ariel also picked a cup, and while doing so, chose another cup from Gregory Xander’s items and handed it to him.

Gregory Xander glanced at the milk tea and indifferently said, “I never drink these things.”

The Xander Family from Mystical Sect had strict rules since Gregory was young, never indulging in outside junk food.

Even when the Taoism Academy’s cafeteria food was horrible, and Ashton Todd was bringing lots of takeout to school, Gregory always ate at the cafeteria.

Ariel, seeing Gregory’s stubborn and inflexible deanor, had already perfected her tactics to handle him, and with the milk tea in hand, she displayed a slightly uneasy look,

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you don’t drink this. I shouldn’t have decided on my own; I just thought this was a token of appreciation from the fans, and moreover…

This is the last episode of the show, and we might not get another chance to work together, let alone sit and drink milk tea like now…”

As she said this, her face appropriately showed a look of disappointnt, slightly hanging her head, seemingly a bit sad.

Scarlett Jennings and Sebastian Carew weren’t unfamiliar with Ariel’s acting; each of them held their own milk tea, leisurely watching the scene from the side.

Viewers of Ariel Zimrman’s fans in the live broadcast room were also witnessing the spectacle.

Only Gregory Xander, hearing Ariel’s softened voice and seeing her slightly lowered head, had a subtle crack in his originally rigid and serious expression.

After hesitating briefly, he ultimately reached out and took the milk tea from Ariel’s hand as she pretended to take it away, quietly piercing the lid.

Ariel imdiately bead, looking at Gregory with a bright and sweet smile.

The audience in the live broadcast room also smiled.

All expressing that they’ve learned sothing.

anwhile, Samuel Chalrs had just arrived at the company, opened the live broadcast room, and saw Scarlett Jennings, holding milk tea and smiling while interacting with the viewers.

After hesitating briefly, he spoke to the assistant beside him,

“No need for tea today, go buy a cup of milk tea, exactly like this one.”

The assistant was montarily puzzled upon hearing this but quickly complied due to professional conduct.

Mr. Chalrs wanted a milk tea just like Ms. Jennings’s.

A must-buy!

Once he left the office and opened the live broadcast, looking more closely, the assistant’s mouth corner twitched.

The milk tea packaging was covered with support labels; forget about seeing what milk tea it was, he couldn’t even discern where it ca from!

Randomly buying a cup to fool the boss was absolutely impossible.

All he could do was investigate.

The assistant, gearing up, who could effortlessly look into other companies’ profiles, felt that this trivial task wouldn’t stop him!

Twenty minutes later, Samuel Chalrs successfully got a cup of milk tea identical to the one in Scarlett Jennings’ hand.

He took a sip, finding it a bit sweet.

Nevertheless, it was decent.
